My order contained 3 Hoppers, one is still running fine last I heard. It went to a friend. I assume I'll be the first to hear if there's an issue with it, I believe I have to claim the warranty.

Good to hear, I was going to ask about that.
Is it likely this working SS unit sees less intensive use?
That said, a button mechanism should last thousands of clicks, millions on a device like this.
Hope you are enjoying GH life, you're lucky you have on hand spare parts to keep on blazing (boiling?)!
My hopper is still working flawlessly. It sees HEAVY HEAVY HEAVY use!

Do you use it mainly through water or dry?
Water. I go hard on it. I unplugged my nano and haven't charged the air or the haze since I got it. The GH is my go to vape for home and travel use. I need to get an external charger and a couple more batteries now.

Great! I live there, it's a fucking desert, all the trees you see there are because we irrigated the FUCK out of it.
FUN FACT. The general building height limit of 54 feet in Boulder is based on the "natural" height of some absolutely non native trees, "fun" because that's of course ridiculous because the natural height of that tree (some kind of non-conifer, forgive my lack of detail its 1:30 am and I'm ruhl high) is zero because someone imported them and the only reason they grow is because we IRRIGATED THE FUCK out of the front range.
Point being, wet and dry is, as you say relative. Compared to pretty much everywhere in the Colorado river basin save Arizona certainly, and definitely any place that dope is legal, Colorado and as a result our dope (though PAR EXCELLENCE) is wicked dry ... And if you want "better" flavor from a convection device, GH, FF, Volcano, I would recommend the moistest dankest dope available, depending. on which coast you're closest too, Oregon or Vermont is where I would start my search in the continental U.S.
If you want the "best" dope, might still be in Colorado depending on your definition of best, but the best tasting dope I've had in a GH was fresh of the vine (obviously figuratively) Oregon dank followed by re-moistened Colorado bud which tastes WAAY better here fortified by VT moisture than it does at home, where BTW it tastes TRES SEIS! To be clear, I LOVE CO CANNABIS! I also LOVE CO snow. It just so happens that when you can buy it, by accident of Georgrpaphy, specifically proximity to the pacific, Oregon's is moister just like Utah's snow by accident of geography is drier ...
Better? Talk to me after a day at Steamboat with some Colorado bud ...
yeah it's subjective, we get it, sometimes it rains in Colorado, totally live there, I know, for convection vapes in my experience generally and the GH specifically danker is better.

Hey I just got the Imag Plus and haven't even opened it yet because I just came ascross the Grasshopper. I saw that it's much sleeker and inconspicuous. Another big selling point is the convection heater. I've never combusted before and I mostly use the Mighty. But I'm reading on here the tatse isn't so great on higher temps, does that correlate to being smoky/harsh on your lungs? Also does anyone know how it compares to the Imag plus in taste, harshness and overall experience?

I've lived in the high desert for over 25 years, broham. It's not the Mojave or Death Valley. It's just a FACT that there is a significant amount of humidity in the air here. Has nothing to do with anyone's subjective opinion, it can be MEASURED.
And WTF is that supposed to mean about the trees? The fucking mountains are COVERED with them, people didn't IRRIGATE them, they grow naturally.

Heard back from Trevor today about my Ti backend, they are waiting on a new batch of color parts later this week. I'll get a new backend from that batch.
Both of you please drop the aggressive tone before one of you breaks the Be Nice rule.
Anyone know if my haze charger will work for my GH batteries? Just curious since it looks so similar to the nitecores that everyone is using.

I sent an email about upgrading to a gray ti model
Earlier this week and just got a response(not sure if I can post up the email here)
But he said that the color is just on the surface and it can scratch through and the scratch will look like normal ti. I told him I would be taking it on a lot of hikes and he suggested I stick with the original ti since it will be in a "tough environment" with it and the scratches won't be nearly as noticeable. Just thought someone may be in the same boat
Also I should add that I like the fact that he gave me real input instead of just taking my money. I wanted a gray model but after I told him I'd be hiking and was worried about scratching the color off he said stick with plain to. Gotta respect turning down the money and giving actual input to the customer. (Yes I know many of you won't actually respect that haha) I still think they are good guys who are in over their head, I'm still rooting for them to pull it off

Following up on my earlier post about what I felt was abnormal and excessive heat in the backend of my SS GH, I just received a reply from Trevor. He's sending a replacement backend. So yeah, customer service seems to be good - he listened to my complaint and acted on it with no problem or delay. If you're reading this, thanks Trevor!

Thanks for that info, I too do a lot of hiking etc and that made me realize I'd better switch my color to regular Ti. Much as I love the blue

Trevor and the fine folks at Hopper Labs sent me a replacement body for my Early Bird SS last Thursday, tracking proves it, no fault to them.
It had a scheduled delivery date of Monday.
But as of 7:00 pm last night (Monday) it was still in Colorado.
At its fourth stop.
No wonder the Post Office is billions of dollars in the red.
Trevor and the fine folks at Hopper Labs sent me a replacement body for my Early Bird SS last Thursday, tracking proves it, no fault to them.
It had a scheduled delivery date of Monday.
But as of 7:00 pm last night (Monday) it was still in Colorado.
At its fourth stop.
No wonder the Post Office is billions of dollars in the red.

I've been using a Green Ti and SS hoppers for about a week and a half. So far so good, great results with a small (less than half full bowl), starting off at 3.5.
Both the SS and the Green Ti get quite warm at the backend, but other than that, all is well. The leather sheath does as pretty good job of protecting the finish on the Green Ti while in my pants pocket.
Overall, I'm very pleased with the fit and finish on both Hoppers but I'm going to contact Trevor regarding the heat I'm feeling at the back of both units.
