Discontinued Zion vaporizer

Just to pipe in since someone asked specifically, this is the adapter that I got. Works perfectly with the Pinnacle tower. With that said, it does not clear the top of the Zion, but the tower sits perfectly on the 14mm male with about 1/8" of the bottom of the tower wedged perfectly against the vertical edge of the Zion top. Not sure it would work with all WTs. If my wt was even 1mm thicker glass, it would not fit.

Just occurred to me that it's cost effective to buy a D020 which comes with an 18mm-18mm adapter. I bet you could get them to throw in an 18mm-14mm one too either in place of the useless combustion bowl and glass nail or a for a few dollars extra. $22.40 delivered and it comes with a decent piece of glass.

Won't be around in a couple weeks when it would likely arrive but I may order one later for when I'm back from my business trip.

A little Zion humor for this fine Friday night.

Peruse the site to understand this one. lol. Just ribbing you, @RBT. Put all the pics upside down if that is what you wish, just as long as you keep making these beautiful beasts.

I've been really enjoying my Zion. I must admit I like her running hot. I do like and enjoy the full flavor the first few pulls allow for. Once the internal body starts getting up to temp the non stop clouds start and it's a freaking show. Rinse and repeat as necessary. Or unnecessary but a total blast.

Not too surprising, especially with you coming from the Triangle of Death aye? Glad Zion is holding its own for you, enough to make you not miss TOD (too much)?

But yeah when sessioned, and she gets heat soaked, hitting back to back, hold onto your hats, or rather something sturdy, like a wall, or, you know what just sit down before you hurt yourself when your knees buckle

Haha amazing RBT!

Figured you two would really hit it off...

Regarding the choice, I'd say go Daisy for the bigger bowl and wider mouthpiece for smoother and even bigger hits, its a really fun unique vapor experience all on its own, need to stir every hit with these models but the hits can be enormous.

Lilys bowl is more Zion size (flexible on amounts as well) but it is much harsher with the stock stem imo, though you may not have a problem with that, and there are many solutions, including Ed and their own wonderful little GonG, but you haven't even begun water with Zion yet soooo

Yeah also Daisy a bit easier to control carbing and flame position with the extra space, though that will take some practice with either model regardless, I have to take my glasses off for both unless I'm using a bubbler to be able to really see and aim properly. I originally had my friend do the torch for me with his Daisy before I learned, but overall I think it's probably your best bet to begin with, the flagship like Zion :tup:

Ha ha awesome! :D

Unless you need pocketable portability, I think @Shit Snacks has it right & you should really start off with Daisy.

She's a beautiful piece of extremely functional coffee table/desktop furniture.

Once you've fallen for Daisy maybe you can bring her little sis in on the action at a later date.

I love 'em both in different ways.

Daisy = bong.
Lily = pipe.

IMO.

Triihouse vapes pack one helluva punch and gotta whole lotta soul :cool:

Yeah! Get with the 'tane my good fellow!

I also will recommend Daisy. One of my few current "portables" that can compete with the desktop juggernauts.

Must... Have... A Daisy!..... drool.... VAS. Walnut grain is Killer!
It's pure convection, hand crafted in America by a dude who has killer customer service so you know you will be taken care of. It's only $139 and it comes with the torch... Go by a Triihouse!!! I mean, you can go by a cheap conduction vaporizer with plastic parts in the flow path if ya want because that's all you can get for $139.

Ok. I finally calmed my Zion down and truly tested the low end flavor side of this chameleon. At roughly 50% power on a 15 second pre heat I got a mouth full of solid flavor hit. No noticeable vapor but unreal flavor. Repeated same preheat and got another wow flavor with a wispy cloud of vapor. Turn up dial 5-10% more about half the pre heat and another great flavor hit with a good amount of vapor. I repeat 2 more times and I'm in a cloud of vapor. The taste is still very good. No burn popcorn flavor. Load after 5-6 hits is starting to turn golden. I stir it and take a HUGE hit. And then get a couple more after. It's amazing this this is even working let alone giving me this kind of results.

I can't help but compare vaporizer performance to automobile performance when I think about such things.

Most vaporizers remind me of automobiles with 'governor' controls such as u-haul vans and DOT certified mopeds. They are great in that they deliver an anticipated performance and don't allow accidental or unauthorized over-performance in any given situation. You can't get yourself into any trouble with them and that's awesome.

The Zion Family of devices remind me of high performance automobiles without any 'governor' controls and are great in that they allow you to 'drive' however you feel like driving.

Want to putter around town on grocery missions? Can do.
Want to peg it on the straightaways and drift every curve? No prob.
And everything in between.

No governors, no limiters, no speed limit.

Just you and your free will enjoying each moment as you see fit.

As it should be :)
