You got that right..I mean I was taking 2-3 hits and just feeling no pain. Honestly am using it with "C/C+" level herb. Next week I get some wax for the first time and have a virgin nail just waiting anxiously.

I'm cleaning my elbs. A clean evo is a cloud producing evo!

I can count the number of times I've seen this on one hand in about a year's time (ordered mine just prior to the first massdrop). Power cycle and all seems fine. I've had zero overheating issues with this unit.

I'd say just keep an eye on it and if it becomes annoying (or worse!), call it in!

You just soak them in ISO or some other solution? Have not cleaned mine and was curious as to the best method.

That's it. Give them a good soak and you can use a cylindrical brush before and after as well.

You guys weren't kidding, the EVO is absolutely amazing. The taste, quality, and potency of the vapor is incredible. I tried my EVO with some friends last night, at the begining were were getting good but not great hits. Then when we gave the unit some time to heat up, BAM, thick clouds of vapor. Definitely the strongest high i've ever experienced with a vaporizer. I'm officially on team EVO now!

Now he's not Just some guy13, he's Just some guy13 with an EVO. Can't wait to join you. I've been checking the tracking on mine and FedEx made up a day from the original estimated delivery day . It's in Utah, only one state between us. We shall meet on Tuesday. There will be clouds.

I have a question about concentrates. Next week I am picking up 3.5 grams of wax and I have a vapexhale nail at home waiting for said wax. The question I have is how to use it with out wasting or burning a bunch of it. Can you heat it and take a hit or 2 and then pull out the nail and reheat later? Do you have to use what you put in the nail in one session? I figure I take 2-3 hits when I use dry herb and would imagine I would probably need only a hit or 2 when using the wax. So I guess my question would be what are the best use practices for someone who 99% of the time is a solo vaporist and is using wax for the 1st time...oh and is a 1-2 hit lightweight

I don't have a VXN, but (and someone can correct me if I'm wrong) you are going to want to consume it all in one session.

@61reissue this is the video you want to watch. just do it like this and you won't fail. you can use as small an amount as you want and, yes, you will hit it all at once.

Thanks for that video... I was wondering myself! Only tried once with some resin I scraped from my most used HT. I scraped it onto the top. Oops. (still worked! but I wondered after if it should go up or down)

It's still discolored. Guess I need to burn the rest off.

You can use reclaim, but don't let that taint how you see the vxnail's performance because it will taste nasty and leave lots of gunk behind. When you get to use it with better product it is amazing.

I turned my Cloud Evo on this morning. It was green but when I went to check on it later it was bright orange. I turned it off and unplugged the unit and the thing was bright orange from apparently overheating?

Has me scared, I'll put in a ticket as it's still under warranty. Does anyone have any idea what might be the issue or have seen this issue brought up here before?

Another International Igg Evo is dead.

After another extreme overheat the bamboo has cooled and cracked and is no longer air tight. It over heated so much the ENTIRE bamboo glass was glowing orange hot, the area around the grommet at the top of the unit was smoking and melted. It left behind a sweaty residue. So much smoke poured off the machine I cant believe how hot that glass was!
The bamboo has cracked substantially but the glass is also seriously deformed and bulbous as well as frosty.

So upset, but It was inevitable with the way these things are glitching. The unit can turn itself on and overheat to a fire risk status!!!

My unit turned from green by itself and continued to overheat till I smelt the burning plastic and saw the smoke and orange fireball of death. Not only that but after I turned the unit off it has turned itself on and overheated orange again! (switch is off but power chord is still plugged in) So dangerous!

I cant believe there hasn't been a recall of these dangerously faulty units. If I wasn't around and it turned on and continued to heat up unnoticed it may have started a fire. Not to mention how much burnt plastic/rubber I inhaled from being near it. Seriously not acceptable.

Can't wait till my nano arrives, this evo business has been nothing but letdowns and stress.

When you say it was bright orange, what part of the bamboo was bright orange? If you look down where the heater is wrapped (maybe 2" from the top? don't have my EVO in front of me), it will definitely be glowing orange if you just turned it on.

Now if you're talking about a massive overheat like Teedub had, that's completely different. His was so hot, the ENTIRE bamboo was orange, including the part the hydratube connects to. It was also so hot, the glass deformed.

Keep in mind, I believe this happened with the international units were having some major issues. Shouldn't really be a factor for you at all.




What does the bamboo look like now? Is it still airtight (plug bottom with your finger, blow in the top)?

@Vessel Put in a ticket with VXL. They will let you know the best route to take. Many will tell you the bamboo will glow, but to what degree is the question. If it looks like a mild glow this is probably normal. If it's a red molten glow, it is hot enough to warp the glass which happened to mine. It was still airtight but warped. VXL agreed to fix mine once I described what was occurring.

I keep my dial at 1- 1:30, this has never happened before, not even close. It was glowing bright orange and was creating a lot of heat.

Is opening a support ticket the same thing as filling out the contact info and leaving a message? I've had to fill out a support ticket before and I don't remember it being like this.

That's where the heater is wrapped, and completely normal to see a glow from that area. I can usually see a glow on mine for several minutes after it's turned off (depending on how high I had the temp set).

Where did you have the dial set when you unplugged it?

After I finish a session (3 o'clock on my unit), I can turn the EVO off and still see a sizable glow where the heater is wrapped. Depending on the lighting, I can look at the male joint on top and catch some of the glow. However, if you actually look down the bamboo, you can see the joint isn't glowing at all. The glow's really just down where the heater is, and maybe an inch from it too?

When you say the whole bamboo was glowing, was the top joint definitely glowing bright orange, or could have been similar to what I described above? Just catching it at the right angle/light, allows some of the glow to "appear" to be at the joint.

If the joint itself was actually glowing hot, then something is definitely wrong though.

Does your bamboo look warped at all?

Without seeing your unit, I couldn't say for certain. But to me it sounds pretty normal from what you've described thus far.

You have to imagine how much heat it takes to get the glass hot enough to heat the air passing though it for us to vaporize with.

I keep it at 1:30, the highest I go is 2 for flower and any higher seems too much for what I feel is proper vapor production.


Looking down into the bamboo it does actually look a bit warpped and wobbly, I remember that being smooth before.
