This was linked on the Indiegogo campaign site: tinyurl.com/oqsqy7y. It's a public Google doc spreadsheet for us to put when we ordered and what our current status is. I know a few people have tried to start posts on Reddit to do the same but they kind of fizzled. Having the spreadsheet filled out would give a good representation of where things stand.

That spreadsheet is very helpful. Looks like the order numbers might have been based on type to begin with (12000 for ss, 13000 for ti, and 14000 for color ti... maybe?), then switched to a more consecutive sequence for the pre-orders (starting at 16000). If that is true, then they may have already sold as many pre-orders as they had original backers... maybe even more. Hopefully that means they can continue expanding their work force to speed up the shipping process :)

I think just about everyone is slated for a Sept. Delivery. That's what my original April, to July, delivery was changed to. If you ordered one today the expected delivery is October, per their website. I Expect our delivery to be pushed back yet again.
Not many new units showing up as the month of August is almost over.

Just saw this in my inbox as well. That's 100 more (maybe even more?) units in the wild than the last time we saw a number from them! Hopefully September sees hoppers leaving at an increased speed, if I can't actually get mine then.

guys, if i try a pre-order in the GH site it says extimated delivery october 2015...from your experience, how much is realistic this date? in this topic i read about 2013 early baker with no GH in their hand...
how it is possible that if i order a GH today 24 august, it's arrive in time for october (even november is good for me)?!?

oh well, i buy it anyway because i want the temporary discount and the device seems to be a perfect electronic joint experience (very rare for a vaporizer, even the convention model):

press the button\turn on the lighter
wait the 2-3 sec the heating\ turn on the joint
inhale
click the button e put the gh near to me\put the joint in the ashtrays near to me

and repeat many times at irregular interval of time.

perfect for a solo session in front of a movie or a internet session (and other situation as well).


the similarity with a joint maybe is not the best argument in a vaporizer forum but i'm a joint lovers and a vaporizer with practicaly the same use is gold for me:D

the only choose i have to make is SS or TI?! if someone have testimoniance of real difference (cooling time and performance) i beg you to explain for me in this topic.

Well I know some of you are discouraged, but to me this recent email is encouraging. What I see happened these past few months is the "early bird" IGG backers were used to test small production batches of the finished product to ensure everything went smoothly. It didn't.

As we know there were many initial reports of issues with DOA or nearly DOA hoppers. At that time, I'm betting they were sending out 20-30 hoppers per week. Then about three weeks ago they started to ramp up production once they got a bit more comfortable, maybe say 60 hoppers per week.

Now they have identified the bottlenecks in their assembly processes and have developed tools to assist in those stages of production. My personal guess right now we're seeing around 120 hoppers per week being shipped (not orders, hoppers). This is still with the current bottlenecks.

Now they have finally brought two new undisclosed "machines" online. I'm guessing they worked through the weekend testing the system and once they felt comfortable it's "working" they decided to send out a special announcement to say "guess what guys! Here we go"

Now making even more assumptions (based on how I'd run the production schedule if it were my business), I'd say that if those two machines are coming online, they'll probably do a small "production run" of half the desired output to ensure these systems are producing consistent results. I think we'll see twice as many shipping confirmation notifications coming within the next week.

Although I don't think they're going to ramp up to the "thousands per week" they claimed for another month or two. I'm betting they're going to take it slow and make certain these two new machines are working properly before they ship several thousand hoppers out to all preorder customers.

So my order may get pushed back a few weeks, I don't care. I'm happy to know mine will be built using these new machines which will result in a (hopefully) higher quality product.

I don't think October is realistic at all based on the sentence below from the recent GHL email update. You also seem really over the top enthused about this vape, I hope you don't set yourself up for a letdown. Yeah, I'm a bummer today. I think they waited for @jojo0420 's videos to come out before sending that email. :evil:

"Coming online" is not necessarily the same as "now online". Knowing these guys, those machines could not be received and operational for a while.

IMO, the main point of this mailing was "we want more preorders to stay afloat", hence the price increase announcement and push to get em while they are cheaper.
