So I am looking for a bit of help from the experts... I am looking to add a bit of water filtration to my air and I am interested in everyone's thoughts on what they use the most often. I am looking to keep this on a budget, but want something that
works smoothly. Hoping to avoid tubing, and keep it glass (plastic mouthpiece is ok) unless there is a GonG adapter for less than puffitup's $19 adapter...

I know about the pinnacle water tool, and can find the dhgate knockoff link somewhere in this thread.

I remember seeing a stem in Europe that had a mini bubbler built in but I think that was expensive with shipping.

Thanks guys!

Have you looked up Planet Vape's F-Bomb?

So, my niece decided to unwrap the plastic from one of my air battery's. I have not yet tried it in the Air for fear of damage. When I charge it in my intellicharge it sparks like crazy. Can I salvage this battery?

The gong, to me, is vital. I mostly use a bong but I also have a hydrotube and the gong makes it easy to switch. I did find this --> https://www.vaposhop.com/vaporizer_accessoires/vaporizer-parts/arizer-air-solo-bubbler-mouthpiece/
But I've never tried it. The plastic tip seems to work decently with most 14mm connections.

Alter long time reading, this is my first post. I've received my arizer Air a few weeks ago. It's my first portable vaporizer. I still own an etreme q. I'm totally satisfied with the Air, that I don't use my etreme q anymore. I love its mobility, the stealth, never get a second look using it in public and the changeable batteries.
Have to say thanks to this great community for the amazing support! You're amazing guys!

Until now I'm only using the delivered stems and I'm happy with it. But I wanna try some bubbler attachments.

I ordered the easy flow bubbler on Amazon.

I didn't read anything about it. Just wanna try it out. The price is ok (paid less than at vapefiend) and I like the idea that no other equipment is required, just the bubbler stem.

Blessings!

Shorting a 18650 cell is dangerous, and once unwrapped the negative and positive sides are about 2mm apart.

Heatshrink could fix this, but it will make the battery too big for the Air. I say get rid of it safely.

Please do a follow up review for that piece. Curious to see how well it fits in the air.

On a side note I finally caved and got a ghgate pnwt from the sunshine store. Well see how that goes.... Been meaning to grab one of those for like a year... Haha I almost bought a ecig bubble... I'm hoping the one I quoted in this post works out well because it would be nice to have something made for the air.

Edit 5000

Found a video of the stem bubble...
I think he demos the stem at 3:30 minutes

My incandescent bulb as a heat lamp. Gets really hot, herb dried to almost ABV level and vaped like velvet in a AA stock tipped stem. The process took about 20 minutes and it was DRY. Probably need to hone in on length of time, distance, wattage. Here's a pic of the set up using what I had on hand. RH dropped as temp went up. Simple lamp, mini cast iron frying pan, and about 1.5 grams of herb and 150 watt bulb (not meant to be left on for long periods in a lamp like this, but under 20 minute supervision, all wires stayed cool, but frying pan got very warm).

just dropped to 100 watt bulb, 150 was probably getting me 120+ degrees (it was redlining my 100 degree thermometer.

Damn.

I am trying to manage my intake. I am locking my herb up ten days at a time with a timed safe thing.

Drying my herb better will probably help with microdosing?

I am going to order that bubler though...

Where the best and cheapest place to order that ships to USA?

I think vaposhop shops to USA. Not sure about vape fiend.... Can you post your amazon link @NuhJokaSmoka

That will be perfect for portability!!! Family gathering and such. Beach... I'm hoping that I can take my usage to once a week or less... But not have to lock my shit up because I don't have will power. It's gonna suck when smokable activities arise but I can't get to my stuff.

I seriously love it! Thanks for posting. Glad you're getting the results you want, I bet they get even better with a bit of tweaking a you say.

I don't know about the rest, but IMO the mini cast iron pan is what 'makes it' for me.

Well done!

It did for me back when I tried it. I also found metering it out (into single days or doses) and storing them in small vials kept consumption on schedule. I still use .125 grams in vials to load MFLB and other vapes that are 'load sensitive'. It's nice to look at a pile of loaded vials and be able to count (and plan) the total sessions.

I bought my Air last Nov I haven't been having too much of a problem using the Solo stems with the Air. It's pretty interchangeable for me. Sometimes the glass can be off a little. They don't always fit the same. That's one of the great points to this vaporizer for me is I can use my Solo stems.

Your a guru...
I figured it would nice to get your take on moderation and the air.

With the air I feel like I can vape forever. I don't get that smoking high temp stone which is useful for me before bed. Do you think drying the herb would help with that?

I still find a full pack to be the easiest. With a full pack the herb seems to vape better and get darker. Sometimes when I try with a small amount it doesn't get very dark.

Maybe I should change my screen set up ... Instead of a tiny almost nonexistent dome screen above the glass screen I should do a large dome or basket with a very small area at the end of the bowl stem for herb... I'm talking like.. Less than a pinch. I feel moderation is key if I want to continue using. To much for me = depression and lazyness and extreme insecurity. I'm at the point in my life where I need to take the reigns and start having goals and fulfilling them. My scale doesn't go very low so I can't tell a specific weight. I think mine stops at .07 ish? And even that looks like more than I want to consume on a daily basis. I wanna stop getting stoned and just catch a mild fully functional buzz... If only I could get a high cbd strain it would be perfect. New England sucks.

I've tried my whole herb career to be medicinal but it turned into addiction... Thanks genes and GC! Lol anyway... Wisdom can only come from experience....

I know this has been asked Before and I could search but since I'm posting about screens... Where's the best place to get some? Aren't there pre domed ones people from fc like to buy?

Tldr: best why to get full extraction. Would drying herb help? Would a microdose bowl be vaped more effectively if packed near the stock glass screen or if I made a dome/basket and packed herb at the very tip of the bowl stem....

Side note..I might start a separate thread about microdosing/quitting/ and taming addiction at some point... First I gotta walk the walk though..

A bit talkative today! Ha

PS. Read your edit of. I had started to do that with separating day to day dosages. I think I will store my herb like that in the timed safe I have next time it unlocks. I need to reach a sober base and come back to titration. I have two timed safes. One I will do a microdose set to unlock mid week and the other I will have a larger slightly recreation dose every ten days.

Sorry for all my personal thinking out loud posts haha.

So I have a lil extra cash and I have been thinking to buy a ps4 or a new Vape
I already own a solo and its doing its job very well..so what do you guys think, is AIR really a leap forward ,compared to Solo or I should buy a ps4

Thanks
I love my Air but,

IMO If you need stealth then the Air is worth it,the Air is a Solo in a smaller package

To replace the Solo you would need 2 batteries to match the Solo power wise, now you'd carry the Air and an extra battery. Which isn't bad at all.

If your happy with the Solo get another one especially a "last call" one from puffitup when available for $60 well worth it.
Or for that matter I bet we'll see last call Air sometime.

As far as stems I use Solo stems in my Air all the time (bent) and Longer Air stem in Solo ,
I do remember reading that Ed was going to try a slightly smaller/thinner stem for the Air.

Many of us save ABV and run it again at higher temperatures to get that 'couch lock' for bed time. I suspect most use water to take the harshness out, I do. You might give it a try, the 'heavy stuff' vapes at higher temperature than THC.

Another approach, if you have a good dispensary, is to get some high CBD weed. I kinda like Cannatonic, but know there are others with strong followings. More of a 'body effect' as opposed to a stone. Helps you sleep when you hurt.

For some reason I can't find the Ebay screen link. Perhaps someone has it handy? TIA

I agree with you, the Air is handy, but I find Solo easier to hang onto and use. The battery meter is actually useful ('a LED per session') and there's more temperature choices and a louder beep. I also agree PIU's 'Last Call' page can be too good to pass on. He's got my money twice now, I have one out on loan now.....spreading the good word as it were.

I sure don't see Air replacing Solo in the market. A guy should consider both I think?

I find the FBomb/PWT bigger than necessary. I mostly use the small bubbler from DHGate with a bit of rubber tube to adapt to the MP:
0UpeNOl.jpg

http://www.dhgate.com/product/glass...b-vaporizer/213068750.html#s1-0-1a|3563330468

It works very well and amazingly (to me) doesn't spill. I've also been playing with these smaller versions:
https://www.fasttech.com/products/2752500

Which are getting too small IMO, they need cleaning much more often although they are easy to wash out in a 'travel tube' from PV with a dash of PBW, hot water and five minutes soak. Several rinses and a fill up and it's back in service in no time.

How's that?

I think the difference between the Solo and AA is almost negligible. I do see the solo holding it's heat slightly better if I rip the shit out of it (I guess enano excels at this as well), but as a big sipper, not really a ripper, I don't challenge that aspect of either vape.

Functionality is so close, it almost comes down to pure feel, and individual preference. I'm sure I can't make my Solo sing quite like @CarolKing, @Pipes, or @OF, but I think I got a pretty good handle on Arizer portables. I don't like the looseness of the stems as much as I like the Air fit. For my semi-stealth indoor requirements that's important (can't have stems flying while trying to put away real fast), but mostly I like the feel of the AA in my hand over the Solo. Sometimes I'm in the mood to hold a thicker heavier vape, but mostly the AA is like Momma Bear, just right.

Plus it has changeable batteries and I have 12. :D and OF taught me how to charge them, so there!

I can so relate to new vape users having a bit of a hard time with the higher dose of THC that reaches your brain. It took me awhile to get back to the place I was when smoking (never got "too high"). Now, I feel in control, not afraid of the stronger high, as it's cleaner, smoother, calmer. But the brain is a powerful thing, and thoughts of anxiety are more powerful than most drugs. Vape at higher temps (at night) to keep the balance of the more sedative end of the spectrum - it works, sip slowly. Use water if you need to (when vaping at high temps). Hang in there, vaping gets more and more under your control as you gain experience.

And drying herb a bit before will access more THC (just learned how to do it right in my high humidity area). But realize, all of these awesome methods will make it more efficient, stronger, and it takes 10 minutes or so to hit you, so go slow.

@Bravesst Interesting setup. I noticed you mentioning Boveda in this thread, so I went away and researched it and am now using some of my own Boveda 62 8g sachets as an experiment to see if it will improve my Air experience. Too early to comment on results yet as I've not had them for very long.

Wouldn't extreme drying out using your lamp setup negate any beneficial effects of storing with Boveda?
