It sounds like a really great vaporizer for those that have working units. How stealth is it drawing off of a Pen? I think something that looks more like an ecig would look more stealth. Like if it looked like the Dabbler even. I'm sure I will be getting one if some of the regular FCers give it the green light. :leaf::peace:

I thought that at first too... then I started noticing that almost anyone holding a pen tends to put it in or near their mouths at some point. The oral fixation is very hard to overcome it seems. Plus with all the vape mods for ecigs now, people are used to seeing people put some pretty odd devices to their lips any ways. I think a pen should go relatively unnoticed as long as you loosely wrap your hand around the area with the intake holes/LED indicator. Add in a Smoke Buddy Jr., or similar smoke filter, and it should be VERY stealthy. That's my plan at least :)

European here, got my shipping email after it was delayed with my lost message.

For information: apparently the stainless steel cases are not ready yet, they will not be in my package and will be sent later. I just hope it won't mean extra import charges for me later :s

I'll definitely post my impressions in the main thread when i get my hoppers :)

kinda curious how long it is actually going to be before the cases go out... those who get their GH in like Sept prob wont see their case till next year sometime

I would think that once they have locked down a new size and/or material inside to hold the GH properly without it getting scratched, that whoever is manufacturing them should be able to pump them out by the thousands with no problem. It's not like they'll need to be beta tested or anything. Just figure out the right size and/or material and fucking make them...not sure why there should be any delays at that time...

This should be the time when this gets done, since they are not yet dealing with thousands of GH's going out the door weekly. It's to their advantage, since sending the cases separately for thousands of customers is going to continue to hurt their bottom line...just my :2c: What the fuck do I know...:shrug::rofl:

Hi guys!

Long time lurker here, and just pulled the trigger for a SS GH!!! Now that i am in the queue for the Hopper i thought i should sign in FC!

First of all I wanted to thank you all for helping me decide my purchase, it's been really funny/instructive to read all your posts.

I am pretty new in the vaping world, i've only tried a friend's Verdamper, and owned a vaporgenie for a couple of years or so (never really liked it too much), so this will be my first "cool" vaporizer (fingers crossed!).

By the way, is there any spanish member that has received/purchased a GH around here? I've seen an italian and some british guys, how was the customs procedure over there? Did you have to pay extra? Any other europeans that have received theirs?

Dr, i have the same question for the european people that owns a grasshopper.
In the gh site they say that for the shipping outside the US, probably you have to pay the duty fee and the other taxes...so at least 25-35% of the total price if i remember correctly...
Maybe an european gh owner can tell us more precise information.

IIRC a canadian member of here or reddit received his unit without paying any post office taxes (customs) after like 2~3 weeks

For what it's worth, I decided I rather liked the colored Ti GH's and since I hadn't received mine yet, I inquired about upgrading. I got an immediate response from Caroline (who still has not replied to questions regarding delivery status), with a PayPal request for the $5.00 upgrade. Bing Bang Boom, done.
They're quick to take an order, but eerily unresponsive on ship date inquiries.

But they're also quick with refunds. When I sent an email requesting to cancel my SS Case, Caroline got back to me literally within 5 minutes that it was done... checked my PayPal and there it was. Fastest refund I ever got from an online purchase.
