Man this thing rocks. I sure am giving this high temp cap a run for its money tonight, she sure is warm.

I've only combusted once :)

Just gonna try some shatter with it before bed, I guess I'll just put herb underneath it but if you guys have a better way please let me know.

*Yeah, wow that's probably what you guys do.

Can anyone tell me what size the replacement set screw is on the aluminum stem?
4m was too small and I need to go to my hobby shop and source some more...

In other news, I combusted last night. Working a new strand, not vaping well and required real high temp. First I got milk, then I saw it cloud up with a yellow tint.... I pulled away before any of the combusted air traveled into the mouthpiece. Pieces need a quick wash, but no harm done. I find some strands are just not great vapors.

I didn't mean to imply it was the Lotus, that's just what I was using, I'm sure it would have been the same in my EQ. It did get me there though, I think it was giving me invisible vapor

I just picked up a angled vector torch for roughly 40 bucks, ouch. Hopefully this last me more than two refills. My Zico wont let out any butane. It's full but wont fire.

Does it barely produce any gas (barely hisses even when set to maximum output). My Zico T-38 had trouble igniting at first as well (I kept burping it hoping to help performance). Then I took my mini flathead screwdriver and twisted it one click past the + side (be careful to only go 1 click or 2 clicks max on any lighter, you do this to jump up to the next "setting" on the torch - it's a rarely mentioned hack for torch lighters - only used when they're DOA).

My Zico has been working perfectly since I twisted it past the + side one time (previously it was a POS which I almost threw away)

You are my lord and saviour.

*uhm, whoa i might have over done 'er. Am I supposed to be able to adjust the flame ? I must becareful not to put it too high or it will completely twist right off and all the butane came out. It seemed threaded so I stuck it back in filled it up again and it still works. I guess I've just got to be careful or should I toss this guy before it blows up in my hands ? The flames a lot bigger now so thats nice :p

I don't want to be a downer or anything, cause that looks cool and all, but the metal pipe is easier to clean, smaller, less likely to break, and better at cooling vapor. I think it looks better, too. More modern and matches up with the Lotus' aesthetic.

Probably would work fine for sitting at home with though, if you don't mind spending a hundred or so on it.

I like the idea behind it, but similar to the sentiments above, I'd still prefer the aluminum pipe. If Ed is going to make a custom lotus pipe, it would be cool to add some style to it, and set it way apart from what you get with it. I'd love a three-piece set the screws together, and is quite large...with a rustic look to it. Make it look like an old-school opium pipe or something  Just my 2 cents...everybody's different :)
