Under the FC rules for retailers, @SneakyPeteVaporizers can't post anywhere but the Retailer Announcements thread. This rule came about because of abuse by retailers early in the life of the forum.

Edit: The Flashing red lights at the end of the second hit appear to be the unit timing out, I counted 18 seconds from the time the lights turned blue.
I thought that only counted when you weren't hitting it?

If I'm not mistaken when it flashes as you're hitting it that's the over heating sensor turning off the heater.

It's the auto-shut off. It's not sensitive enough and too short. That's why I don't like it.

At the start of this thread there were a couple of bong rip videos posted and that's what made me order the hopper! Holly crap can it milk it!! I haven't been super excited about it since there seemed to be some issues. I really hope more reports like this start showing up and that they don't have any problems a few days down the road.

The last update doesn't really sit well with me but I take it with a grain of salt. It almost looks like they are reading here and just telling us what we want to hear. It went from we're going to produce a thousand a week to only 400 being shipped and only doing small batches. Which totally makes sense and has been brought up in this thread but contradicts what was said earlier. I hope they get the new machines working properly and production really does start to step up.

I ordered in late June so I hope by the time they get to my order all the bugs are worked out. I'm not in a super hurry for it so if it gets delayed to insure all the kinks are worked out im cool with that!!:science:

Anyone try using a container like the bullet from the PnP in this? Seems like the PnP bullet would be a good fit. Nice to pre-pack the bullets for easy loading.

Does anyone know what's the temp at dial 1? The GH was supposed to go from 100C to 210C... So that would be 100C?

So far they've always sent the replacement hardware in advance, along with a return label to send back the faulty gear.

That's right, red and blue flashing is the indicator of overheating. IMO the blue in the flash is more faint than the red, and might not show up on camera. OTOH, plain red flashing (what I saw in the video) indicates low battery "shut-off" (to idle state).

A timeout (regular auto-idle) is indicated by the LED simply shutting off for the most part, except for a faint blip of red every 3-4 seconds (maybe?)

I've been waiting on a replacement back end from Hopper Labs. It finally showed up yesterday, and the heat issue in the back end is resolved!

It still gets warm back there during long draws, but it's nothing like the immediate & uncomfortable heat that used to show up around the top of the clip right after I'd turn it on.

I've only had the fixed back end for a day or so, but it seems like battery run time has improved a little… Makes sense?


So I did a quick search of this thread for "cotton" and "hemp fiber" and came up with only a few questions and not a single experience report. I've been wrapping dabs of oil in bits of cotton and throwing those cotton balls in the GH and it works very well. Very very well. I might take some video of a grasshopper oil hit co-starring the Orbiter, because the vapor production sure is photogenic. Clouds enough to knock a man over. It knocked me over, at least… I highly recommend that others give it a careful try.
