I do understand the majority sentiments, and only wish to offer points from a perspective that I find have merit and may prove useful to whomever - just putting it out there. Of course, this could be debated ad-nausium, but that shouldn't be necessary.

I assume that means all the Early Bird units have been shipped? Great news, sounds like they're further down the list than I thought. And this one is a 'much later' preorder? So many/most of the preorders are out too?

Thanks, I find that encouraging. Perhaps there are lots of solid, working units in new owners hands.....

I don't see that being the case. A number of early backers reported that their later orders were consolidated into a single shipping. There's far too few confirmed reports on the shipping thread to make me believe either of those assumptions. But I'd be happy to be wrong about it.

Oh, my! Going out of sequence (making some guys wait longer than others) to save a little shipping.......that's not cool IMO.

Did that new 'handle customer problems' guy ever clock in? If so I suspect he'll draw some heat over that?

Could be just a small interim window period in which they bunch up orders old & new (expedience - catch up and move forward?) and then soon thereafter ship consistently/sequentially given quality assurance under control. Cut em a little more slack maybe, without reading-in too much ulterior motive? IDK.

As @syrupy mentioned my orders were consolidated.
No complaints from me, but not quite fair to everyone else?
Perhaps just a perk of being an IGG backer.

They (Trevor in an update) said you could change or add too your order and it wouldn't affect your pace in line. ..

Though, Ti units are still kind of a rarity aren't they?

I suppose it's the wrong thread, but here's my overall take on this. I was pretty upset for a while after they waited until august to bump my shipping estimate from june to september. I believe the tone of my gh posts changed a bit after that, although the seeming high proportion of defective units also contributed.

As far as the delays go I have come to the conclusion that earlybird status isn't as important as order date, reflecting a limited-quantity discount level rather than a more advanced placement in the shipping queue. Meaning that the holiday-level backers were the only level that paid for a higher spot in line.

But honestly, it's been so long and there's been so much bs since then that I'm not sure I remember.

The other thing that might have caused units to be shipped out of order from the ordered dates would be a temporary bottleneck in the ti bodies, moving some of the ss orders up a bit. It seems that overall, they are trying to finish shipping all of the november '13 and earlier backers this month, meaning december backers have been pushed off until at least september. Maybe we'll find out more in tonight's update.

Hope officially being rekindled! Latest update, plus the new pictures of the dark gray.... salivating now! So happy they released some actual numbers, and seem much more specific about what is going on. Hopefully the new batches will be more along the lines of the level of quality we are all expecting! Makes waiting for the address/shipping confirmation just a little bit easier :)

decent update assuming all numbers are accurate (seemed like more than 10 full replacements were sent but I haven't been keeping track lately) but being away for awhile and not thinking about the GH was refreshing, gotta catch up on all the fun stuff that goes on in this thread

I just read the latest update. 400 grasshoppers already made. But not mine and I was an earlybird backer.

So how do we upgrade our order if we want to change? Just send Trevor an email? Or is there another way? Wasn't sure if Caroline had her own email yet.
