Three years ago, I was introduced to FC due to my interest in electronics and the rapidly growing industry of vaping. After years of research, my vision to innovate inhalation became more apparent, and it slowly transformed. To successfully innovate inhalation, one must continuously push the industry forward not only with ingenious products, but also progressive ideals to give everyone a chance to experience the health benefits of vaporizing. With all this in mind, I co-created the company Vapeur to turn this vision into a reality. We are a company dedicated to changing the world with innovative ideas. We believe the first step to innovate inhalation is to offer the public a premium, yet affordable aromatherapy vaporizer. This will give everyone the chance to experience a healthier alternative to combustion, at the balanced crossroads of price and quality. After we create a new wave of vapers, we believe the next step is to offer unique and innovative products the industry has never seen before. With all this being said, we are extremely excited to announce the first step of our plan, The Astral by Vapeur.

Actually the air has replaceable batteries.. Or did I get you wrong?

Wonder also what makes it so "innovative" (it's a big word - we got a lot of damn good vapes already)? Just from the looks and the few specs it's not a wow to me... More like a pax/air replica light version. But am always open for something new to convince me.

Good idea! I've seen lots of unbranded "innovative" vaporizers on alibaba and dhgate. I might do the same, slap my logo on one of em and say I developed it out of love for vaporists. This is a joke, right?

I dont understand this first step in your business plan, because there already are good and cheap vaporizers out there. Why dont you skip the first step in your business plan and start with step 2, where the innovation will be introduced (as announced in the first post)?

Must echo other senitments here,

We are a skeptical bunch and though you wrote "convection heating element" as a feature, you also mentioned a steel oven, temp settings, and autoshutoff... Add those to its design and it certainly seems to suggest it's just another portable session conduction vape just like Pax, Ascent, Indica, HipVap, Flowermate, Haze, Imag, xmax, list goes on...

Could you please tell us how this is at all different from any of those models apart from outward appearance and branding? Why should someone purchase this, instead of say a FlowerMate Pro and just wait for your "more innovative models" ? What kind of warranty and price does Astral have?

Why is the Astral step one?
Many of you may know how expensive it is to bring a concept design to production. We have seen many companies take different approaches to this, some with failure and some with success. Instead of crowdfunding or being confined by investors, we are building. Over the last 3 years we have designed 2 portable vapes from scratch, one for wax and one for dry herbs. Both are unlike anything the industry has seen. Every Astral we sell is one step closer to funding these designs.

What makes us different?
Our vision. Vapeur is a collective of artists. All on a mission to use our individual talents, to push people forward in all aspects of life. We love creativity, and want to use Vapeur as a platform to fuel it. From art shows to music festivals, anything that can spark inspiration we are pursuing.

So does this mean the Astral was not designed or produced in house? Or it was as well, just cheaper than the aforementioned models?

What does its oven look like? Is it bottom load like Pax? How big is it? Are there spacers? Does it work with any load size? Is battery replacement covered under warranty?

Will you be sending out any sample/review units to the community?

The chamber is capable holding .3 - .5 grams of botanicals, but we recommend a looser packing for the best vapor production. The battery replacement is covered under warranty, along with any electrical malfunctions excluding user error. We currently are compiling a reviewers list, if any users are interested feel free to contact us with your information.

@vapeurlabs please think twice about crowdfunding if the astral dont make enough money to bring your secret vaporizer designs to life. I want to see your designs, new vaporizers are always welcome. I will follow this thread and i wish you good luck with the astral.

I hope you have chosen the right strategy to reach your goal...step 2.
But it's like selling an old knock off product with a little make over to me. Don't think that this is a good and confidence-building action to state your visionary vape world changing innovations and trustworthiness. Sorry for my critical view.we will see!

First of all you say that you have designed 2 vaporisers from scratch... you then go on to say you did not design the astral but had it customised to your specs.... so what are these 2 vaporisers you have designed? Why did you not bother to design your own vaporiser from 'scratch'

Honestly i dont know why im wasting my time posting on this thread This forum is waaay to informed for you to come here hawking a re branded cheapo chinese vape. People here will see right through this, its actually quite insulting.

I don't see a problem, atleast not that big, with branding an excisting vape if they have made improvements. It's pretty interesting if the heating is really convection or a mix of conduction/ convection.

There happens to be many products that are popular even if they are just re- branded items. Bigger question should be the quality/ performance of the the vape and how well the warranty/ customer care works.

I dont think the problem is the rebranding, more its what appears to be a carefully worded introduction that makes it sound like they've designed this vape without actually saying it. It doesnt sound particularly open or honest.

It sounds like someone blowing smoke up my ass, and I only vape.

Hmmmmm may wan't to stay away from saying Vapir 1,000,000,000 times since there already a company, And they just put out a new portable so they may be real quick to call the lawers. I could see Pax labs having something to say on this one as well.

To be brutally honest, all I've seen so far is a me-too device and a lot of ego stroking. If you're going to hype yourselves up that hard, at least have something to back it up with and not spray us with buzzwords.
