Hey all, new forum member here but long time lurker :)

I'm an early bird backer (plus another standard one bought later). I received the address confirmation exactly 3 weeks ago and i heard nothing since then :(
I have not received any message, no tracking email, etc... must say I'm in Europe.. does that change anything ? any European backer have received their hoppers yet?

Does it take so long in general between the confirmation email and the shipping ?

I sent an email to Trevor today and i hope i'll hear some news very quickly. I'll keep you up to date.

3 weeks coincides w/ a bunch of other people who reported a similar thing, never getting tracking info - most of whom then had their hoppers just show up, but at least one other person had your experience. Keep bugging them, the transition from Trevor answering everything to the new CS person looks a bit messy (almost like they're trying to take the CS backlog in order instead of triaging first), fast turn around even for people reporting problems is no longer 100%. You can check your order status on their website as for others it showed "shipped" when it was actually shipped (as opposed to "processed" after confirmation), but even that didn't happen for everyone I think. Oh to be 20-something and to have your first big business venture turn out to be BIG - hope they get better at, um, everything.

I think if I remember right Trevor said in his last update that they had hired somebody to answer the emails. She was answering emails from the July 22nd. So I would assume they maybe still are getting up to speed. Hopefully delegating some of the less important jobs to others frees the boss up for more important things.

Same story for me, Early Bird backer, received Address Confirmation 7/20. Not another word until a quick response from their new Customer Service person saying that I had indeed confirmed my address correctly and that meant my order was nearly ready. No specifics. I'm still waiting.

Do you happen to have a color Ti unit in your order?

Just a quick update for those who want the info:
Emailed trevor on sunday i think (sorry, memory fuzzy) for my friends refund.
Received email from support agent the next day with the refund.

Amazingly fast response and greatly appreciated. Meanwhile, my friend decided on the pax2 to my dismay. Only thing wrong is the price but it is what it is.

I emailed them Monday night to change the color on my Ti hopper and Caroline responded early the next morning, so maybe they're being a little selective in what gets tackled first

I was just wondering if anyone here has been in touch with Hopper peeps to see how they are faring with their roll-out of the GH... After the few past pages of posts throwing up so much doubt, I'd have thought Trevor or some rep would have wanted to quell the fears....

I wouldn't think it's so great as my shipping date has changed 3 times already , each time it gets pushed further back. But I am wishing them the best. I did email them regarding this and got this reply : " We are working hard to assemble and ship your Grasshopper and appreciate your continued support. As assembly has gotten underway, I feel confident that we will be able to meet the Estimated Ship Dates, however, we are only able to estimate a date for your order to ship because unexpected delays may occur. I hope this helps.

Hey thank you.... I haven't even followed up (don't know other than to send an email), but I guess that works... I just want them to work on it and not be bothered by me nagging, but since it seems they hired Caroline to field the emails, I'll let one rip.... email, that is. :brow:

for whats its worth:
i emailed trevor back in july when my ship date got pushed from july to august. he gave me almost the exact same answer caroline gave you...

i think its just what they think we want to hear...

Just got shipping confirmation for my Hopper! Titanium (Bronze) if anyone was wondering.

I frantically checked my email this morning after seeing this, I got a bronze coming this month as well, but not yet. Colored hoppers are happening!!

Received my shipping address confirmation email yesterday.
I ordered in November 2013 from Indiegogo.
One plain Ti and one green Ti, extra batteries, Ti cases.
Fingers crossed!

Don't expect your Ti case, they don't even have the SS ones available for people yet and by reports theyre' not very good about telling customers to expect it later. But if you get it, post here as that would be huge news.

Glad more are going out, but the tinge of VAS that followed each confirmation for me is gone. After all the problems, especially after the last report of what sounded clearly like another bad backend and Trevor kinda whitewashed it instead of just saying "new backend on it's way!" (sure what do I know, but it felt bad). I'm happy w/ my place somewhere in the middle of the backer line. Take your time and get it right, please. Too bad they're beholden to pre-order money so they can't just say "We need more development time! Sorry" if that is the case.

I received my Shipping Notice as well; Early Bird, dark gray Ti and according to their packing slip and website another Standard SS unit I preordered in June. Plus some accessories, batteries, charging cable, etc.
I wasn't expecting the third unit with my original order, nice bonus.
Now here's to hoping they all work! :)

Whoa, wait, what?!? You ordered yours in November of 2013?! You've been waiting almost 2 years!? I just ordered mine 7 weeks ago. And I haven't heard back from them after emailing yesterday afternoon.

Ah I do love my Pax2. :)
