I just can speak for myself, and i have only experiences with the Iolite, Hebe Titan 2 and the FM mini:

I cant imagine that you will find a better on-the-go Vape with this value/price ratio now.
This thing is handy, stealth, idiot proof and from good built quality.

Personally, i am thinking about getting a second one, so i can vape with both hands simultaneously :freak:

;) Just kidding.... nevertheless: BUY ONE!

i dont have the lung capacity that i used to so the draw resistance is a bother sometimes.

You would have to try one and see how you feel about it, because the draw resistance is huge with portable units, imo. The Flowermate is no different, and it requires maintenance and/or screens replacement to maintain proper airflow, which is minimal at best (again, imo).

small and stealthy, ease of use, decent quality)

You're definatly talking about the Mini there! While I may sound critical at time, know that I like this little guy so much that I just received my second one. I didn't had a choice, the first one never leaves my girlfriend's purse!

Edit

When I got my Air, I tried to find an electronic cigarette that looked as similar as possible to carry around in parallel. I don't smoke cigarette anymore, so I use 0mg juice.

Now that the Mini is my go to unit I can launch the iStick as a countermeasure; nothing like a huge cloud of berries, watermelon and mint to divert unwanted attention!

My second V5.0S has finally stopped working, it's been a slow death for the past few weeks, I really like my V5.0S, but I hate having to pay money to people that make a product that does not last (for me).

I do not think it's the battery, it might be the button or something else internal on the V5.0S that has stopped working

Thanks, so it's hard to get going, but once there vapes normally at the set temperature?

I just got the Mini. I noticed that the status light, when solid, flickers a little. Is that normal?

how does the flowermate 5 mini stack up against other small vapes? specifically the mflb. im looking for something decent to carry around in pants pockets.

love the size of the mflb but dislike the learning curve + external battery. on demand vape is great though!

love the solo/air but too big to carry in pockets casually. i dont have the lung capacity that i used to so the draw resistance is a bother sometimes.

wanted to get a pax 2 but too expensive imo. looking at the pax 1 but it seems too big.

i dont really wanna carry anything much bigger than the mflb and the flowermate 5 mini seems to be around the same size. not too much bigger to make much of a difference. also i like how you can conveniently put the stem inside the unit while not in use.

anything i should know before considering this vape? unless i missed something, is there anything smaller/better overall? if i purchase it, it will be a strictly on the go vape. nothing wrong with the mflb but i tried a couple of portable vapes and never really found that special vape niche that i want (small and stealthy, ease of use, decent quality).
Based on what people are saying about the mini, I think it's definitely worth the money, the v5.0s is basically the same thing just bigger and I love it

I have both and there are some other differences. The MP is different, it's shorter by maybe 1/4 inch (lacks the part that sticks down into the load). This can make cleaning the fine screen a bit more trouble (although needed less often), probably a small issue for most. The MPs (glass or Ed's) interchange, just not the threaded metal part.

The vapor path in the Mini is different, better by most people's opinion. Air is drawn up through the well for MP storage, rather than 'past the electronics' before entering the heater.

The larger one has a 'loading light' in the bowl you can't turn off. Handy sometimes, but it shines out the vents unless the unit is shut down (still on in standby).

The Mini also charges from a USB port, any handy USB Wall Wart, your computer, someone else's computer, a 'Power Bank' or a car USB adapter. With the larger unit you're tied to their mains charger. While Mini needs 'tanking up' power wise twice as often, IMO it's easier to find a source.

All in all my Mini sees a lot more use than my full size one. Not that the V5.0S isn't a nice vape, I just think against the Mini it can come in 'second best'?

I think it's about a push on average. Heat up time depends a LOT on battery charge, more I think than the difference between units.

Either is 'plenty fast' or 'not nearly fast enough' depending on the owner?

Be sure to consider PIU, always a 15% discount for FC members drifting around......I think "BIGNEWS" currently works?

Been a while since I posted

I am looking for a backup ( or replacement ) for my Pax 1 which has to be sent back for repair . It still works but is limping along .
I have a Grasshopper on order but i doubt I will see it anytime soon .
I think I have narrowed my search down to the FM mini or the PAX 2
This will be used only as a portable outside of house and while traveling . And I will be mostly using it alone .

The Pax 2 seems cool but it also seems like I would be paying for a bunch of features I would never use ( party mode , games etc ) But it is also good a good quality product with a good warranty.
And I don't see much point is getting a new Pax 1.

The FM Mini seems great to me Small powerful . the mini usb charger is great . And a great value .
I Don't know much about the company or warranty issues other than the 1 year warranty from PIU .

So I guess I am asking is there anything I am missing any reason to spend the extra $$ or any other vapes to consider .

Any help is appreciated

Of course there is, there's always other vapes to consider.......or at least I hope there will be. For now, I don't think you'll go far wrong with the Mini. I'm enjoying mine regularly (as one of several) these days. Very solid and simple/effective in operation. Some guys are driving theirs awfully hard with an apparent failure rate (based on reports here?) many vapes costing WAY more no doubt envy,

I've been enjoying my Mini, seeing it really as the session vape alternative to my ESV.

Today, I had both with me at the Ren Faire. Whilst I took/used neither into the Faire itself, preferring to retire to our conveyance... okay, sorry. Ren Faire brain. For the couple of quick "snack" hits I needed, I used the ESV. After the Faire, before hopping in the car, I pulled out my Mini, and had a lovely full session of flower.

This, for me, is a niche vape. Well, all my vapes are niche vapes. the Mini fills the niche of really small, portable, easy session vape. I can pre-fill, tuck it easily into my pocket (it will even fit between the girls...), go wherever I'm going, and then be leisurely enjoyed. Done, off, back into its discreet carrying place, and back to whatever.

Hello all, I just received my Mini and reading through this thread ive noticed that some are using a D020-D 9 bubbler. Can someone explain what the purpose of this is, do you get a better draw?, does it taste different? Ive never used a bubbler attached to a vape so im confused as to what the purpose is. Thank you!!

To condition the vapor so it is not so dry is the reason that some or most people use a bubbler and then some like myself like bigger hits and the visual reminds me of the good old days of combusting...it just feels right and bigger hits can be taken through water..

i think I burnt my mouth quite bad with flowemate pro. Tried opening up the holes at the bottom of the oven a bit to see if it was drawing too slowly. It is drawing a bit better now but I think the vapour might be too hot after it has been on for a while. I am putting the mouth piece on loose so that some air mixes with the vapour too cool it down a bit.

My mini won't turn on I've had it only for a week, it flashes a few times like it's heating up and then shuts off. I can put it on different heat levels does the same thing. It's a shame it was a good vape, except the screen getting clogged with reclaim. Does anyone know anything about this issue or do I have a lemon?

Bummer, are you sure it's charged? Sounds to me like it has just enough battery left to run the processor a bit, but it falls flat when it comes to providing the much higher power to heat?

Just to be clear, it is turning one, right? That is it's not completely dead........

TIA

I did charge it, the light turned green and it keeps doing the same thing. Still no good.

Thanks. I don't recall anyone posting such issues, does anyone else? To be clear, you can turn it on again immediately and repeat this several times? If so it doesn't sound as much like dead battery.......unfortunately?

Good luck.

I ordered it from Wizardpuff, and I'm in India, I should still be covered right? BTW if I keep at it every once in a while it would heat up and stay on for I guess around 5 minutes but it does it randomly I've been repeatedly attempting to turn it on but it keeps shutting of after a few seconds. I've just charged it again and it's been green for about 20 minutes.
