RezBlock /Cranberry Extract

Assuming its safe, would you vape through anything other than water if it offered some benefit?

@Kief
Its so funny you say that, because i have the exact opposite finding.
I got my nace from vitamin shoppe locally..$14.. it is very chunky. so chunky it doesnt drop correctly.
I got the BCCE from amazon after they were sold out...$8... not chunky at all.

i wonder if it has something to do with the age or its storage method.

Either way, assuming there is no negative effect... i can only say amazing things about both... obviously i prefer the not chunky, but it hasnt accumulated.

I wouldnt consider smoking with out it, mainly because it mitigates the putrid smell of bong water.

I wonder how long that bottle was sitting on the shelf.

It's a factor for sure. My theory with BCCE is that it isn't filtered or mixed as well for consistency like NACE... and then there's that Silica or whatever that drives me crazy, never seen that in NACE. Every batch seems to be a bit different though.

I've used plain distilled water only a few times after first trying RezBlock, the shit starts tasting bad before the first session is over... pink water is the only way for me.

Try adding a little Citric Acid to your mix, it gets better.

You can find it in most health food stores and some healthy-minded grocery stores, but the price will be a bit higher.

I'm getting to the bottom of another bottle of BCCE now and there's dried crud stuck to the inside of the dropper, that doesn't happen with NACE... the BCCE has much more sediment. Also still getting small specs of something that I assume is Silica from the BCCE that is sticking to the inside walls of my bubbler and can be a major pain to get out. I've used many bottles of all the brands... IMO the NACE is the better product, but it does cost a little more.

I second on that. There is definitely a cheap feeling coming off the BCCE, but it's not so bad after all, you get what you pay for.

Just another data point. I am at the very end of a bottle of BCCE (they last me a couple months usually) and there is no clumping or sediment that I can notice. I DO shake the bottle before using it every day. And I store unopened bottles (still in the box it came in) in a dark cabinet that doesn't get warm. This last time I ordered them from Amazon and got 2 bottles, and I will shortly open the second. Half way in to this bottle I will probably order more.
At this moment, ordering 2 bottles at a time it comes out about the same price to order from Amazon with free shipping or direct with their $6 shipping. About $14 total.

Is the glass dropper still 100% clear? I couldn't see through mine when it was new (for the last 6 bottles)... it's better now with some use, but still not clear. I've gone as far as pouring the crap through a coffee filter in effort to remove some of the extra sediment and silica specs, didn't catch all of it.

I agree, you do get what you pay for with this stuff and BCCE is cheap enough for me to consider buying it again... even if it drives me crazy sometimes.

Maybe they changed their methods since I last ordered my supply, it's been a while. Depending on current pricing, I may cross my fingers and order some more soon... I am getting low.

Completely clear. I do also empty the dropper before I close the bottle, in case that matters.

Well, this was only my second order. The first had been from the vendor direct. They behaved the same in no clumping.

I can't help but wonder of your bottles got heated up in shipping, like a hot mail truck or sitting in the sun or something. Or maybe I've just had good luck.
I don't see any expiration on the bottle...

I thought I would share that i spoke to natures answer today.
Random observations:
1-They confirmed that it gets chunky with age.
2-NACE has a 2 year expiration date... the stuff i got off the shelf (a month or so ago) expires next month. i would say that in my experience NCCE is chunky with 3+ months left on the expiration (any one else have chunky CE with an date more than a year left before expiration date?)
3- My BCCE came from amazon right after they were sold out. i assume this means its a fresh batch. (my label got messed up, so i dont know if BCCE has an expiration printed on it
4- my NACE gets cloudy after a few hours, worse it gets brown after 12 or so hours
5- My BCCE gets cloudy after a couple days, brown after extremely heavy use.
6- NACE offered to replace my bottle. I will report back in a couple weeks when i get back from vacation and can the new stuff for chunks.

So long story short...I have confirmed that AGE may have a lot to do with its function. If you buy it local, before you leave, open the jar and see if it is chunky... if it is chunky, just return it before oyu leave.

Just as a data point, my first 2 bottles of BCCE which came direct from Botanic Choice and were received in June of last year had a 3/2016 expiration. The bottle I ordered from Amazon that I got in May of this year has an expiration of 7/2016. I, of course, can't control shipping behavior but I keep unopened bottles in a dark cool cabinet. I have had no noticeable issue with clumping so far with either order. Maybe I've been lucky...

I looked back in this thread a bit and noticed that Vito had mentioned Walgreens selling BCCE for $2.99/bottle. That is a great price, but they don't seem to sell it in the stores and I rarely have enough stuff to order from Walgreens to get free shipping. That and who knows how long they may be sitting in a Walgreens warehouse. I would expect Amazon warehouses to go through their stock faster. (Right, bias. No real reason to think that, just a guess)

I may order from Walgreens next time just to see...

Before reading this thread I thought Rezblock was just a product to clean glass pieces when dirty, not something to add to water at every single use. :ninja:

The is another member here from France, @Roger D who may have solved this issue already. Maybe he will chime in and tell us his solution.
For you, american !

I'm French and i live in France, i've paid $ 26.98 for 2 BCCE with transport, it's so expensive.

Any EU fc-member likes to keep his glass clean and knows a source for these products? Rezblock is fine already, but even cranberry extract is impossible to find.

Bummer. Well, this is the company who makes it. http://www.botanicchoice.com/

And this is what it says on their site about International orders...

Other International Orders Orders shipped to countries outside the United States or Canada will be sent via best available service for a flat fee of $9.95 (£6.50 if purchased in the UK) per order, regardless of order size. Please allow up to 10-14 days for your shipment to arrive.

So, you can get it but shipping is a little pricey. For $4 a bottle it shouldn't be too bad...

Other than that I could be asked to pay custom duties that add approx 25$.
In my experience it's fine to import everything you like from China, no customs fine, but ordering to EU from the US can be a pain.

Just FYI, I just received a bottle of BCCE from Amazon and the expiration date is 2/2017 so they are obviously selling enough to get fresh stock fairly often.

Whats the verdict on using

NACE : http://www.amazon.co.uk/Natures-Answer-Cranberry-Alcohol-Free-Fl/dp/B0011DL4AU

Over

RezBlock : https://www.vapefiend.co.uk/rezblock-concentrate.html

The NACE is half the price of RezBlock, so which would you recommend?
Well, that's what the whole thread is about.:wave:

It turns out that BCCE is almost identical to RezBlock at about 1/4 of the price. NACE is similar to BCCE, but I haven't used it. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B009Z8SFWI/ref=sr_ph?ie=UTF8&qid=1443711848&sr=1&keywords=cranberry+extract

Actually, if I remember correctly, the rezblock bottles are .5 OZ and the BCCE are 1 oz, so make RezBlock 8 times as expensive for the same product.

So, I needed some more Natures Answer, so I found it as an Add-on item at Amazon.

Check out the incredible WASTE of packaging here...
