I just wanted to say I've had my pinnacle pro about a year and would highly recommend it. No pun intended. After reading page after page of people trashing it I just wanted to document a positive experience. The stealth is great, the hits are big and tasty, and the economy of how much I can get out of .2 grams has paid for itself. Even after my burn out friend broke my water cooler on day 2 the bits are comfortable. Even it's.much maligned durability has been exceptional to me. Two concrete drops In and no worse for the wear. So I just wanted to say you rock pinnacle and for every rage poster on here there's several happy vapers who keep meaning to post something

My Pinnacle finally has developed a crack in the upper part of the heating chamber (under mouthpiece). I LOVE my pinnacle and I'm wondering what effect the crack will have. I've had this for well over a year and a half and it has really been a great unit. I don't think most vaps are meant to last over a couple of years and it does pay for itself in using less product. So do you think I can continue using it, what should I look for that could cause me to retire it.

I think you can keep using it as it's mainly a cosmetic problem, if the crack becomes large enough that the chamber becomes loose and the internals start rattling when the units moved around I'd probably stop using it then though.

In the past you were able to contact THEYOYOKID1 on E-bay and request a replacement "collar /upper part". I think they cost like 20 bucks + shipping.

Yesterday I received my new gpong and replacement "top" piece from @theyoyokid1 . Excellent customer service!
I am quite impressed with the new gpong. It seems to fit much more securely, and the heat seems much more contained with the glass insert. The plastic on the mouthpiece around the heating chamber doesn't seem to be getting as hot as previously.
The temperature of the vapor seems on par with the interim TRVB gong. The adjust-a-bowl gong is a little cooler as it is longer than the other two.
The taste seems to be the same as the TRVB glass mouthpiece and adjust-a-bowl gong.
PNP DIY "top" piece replacement.
I know @Lizard King has just beat me to it, but @Sativape requested a step by step pictorial guide to replacing the PNP "top" piece.
Things you will need...
A phillips 00 screwdriver (jewellers screwdrivers should do).
A couple of plastic parting tools, or a couple of small flat bladed screwdrivers will do if you are careful.
A new top piece.
Patience!
Gently prise out the lens covering the switch and leds using the parting tool or a small flat bladed screwdriver...
You should now have this...
Now the tricky part. I found this awkward, as I didn't have enough hands, so I asked my girlfriend to assist. In the photo below you can see me pointing to a recessed tab. There are 2 of these either side of the PNP. You need to depress both at the same time while holding the PNP and pulling the innards out through the top. I used the 2 parting tools for this, as I didn't want to mark the unit, but if you are careful you can use 2 small flat bladed screwdrivers. My girlfriend held the PNP and pulled at the top piece while I depressed both tabs.
The innards are now free to remove from the shell...
This is what the guts look like...
Gently lift up the plastic top section and pull it away from the pcb and battery so that you can access the 3 screws on the bottom which secure the "top" piece to the plastic base (the heating chamber). You will need the phillips 00 screwdriver or a very small phillips jewellers screwdriver to remove the screws...
The "top" piece removed from the heating chamber...
Screw the new "top" piece back on...
This is how it should look when fully screwed home...
Clip the top plastic section back on to the pcb and insert back into the plastic shell, make sure the tabs relocate in the holes in the shell...
Replace the lens, it should easily snap back into place.
That's it, you are done!
This is my first tutorial like this, and I only have a camera phone, so I hope this helps all the people thinking about doing this themselves. It really is pretty straight forward, but I would advise you to do it before you medicate, not afterwards!

I have 2 units with cracked collars. They work but the battery has degraded so much I don't use them anymore. I have other units that I prefer to use.
I didn't get very good customeer service with VB so I lost interest in their product unfortunately. Eventually my emails were ignored and there wasn't a phone number to contact them. I didn't buy through the Yoyo kid off eBay. Folks got stellar customer service from him I hear. He was replacing the collar for a minimal fee.
So it's buyer beware when shelling out money for a vaporizer. Go with a company that will stand behind their product.

If it's a good company with a good products I will sing their praises. If it's lousy service or products I will complain about it. That is the reason folks read FC is to find out which products are worth buying. Also how well our customer service is at different online stores.

"The Kid" took care of me again, he replaced the heating element under warranty. I have a new upper collar and thought I might as well change the battery, hopefully I won't break anything while trying to fix it.

I can't lie, between the Ascent, Pax1 and 2, Goboof Alfa, and Arizer Air... nothing hits as hard and powerful as the PNP!
The PNP seems to be the only one out of the above that seems to satisfy my friends who still smoke.
@TherealVaporblunt , we're still waiting for the PNP2!

I ordered a Pinnacle Pro a year ago, had it checked out by a knowledgeable friend, (to make sure it was definitely an original), I also read the info on this forum so was satisfied. I was hugely positive as had watched vids etc and read some excellent reviews. Anyhow, it arrived and being cautious I only used the lowest setting, the first couple vapes were great but by the third vape I started tasting a chemical substance and my lips started blistering. It was extremely hot (on the lowest setting) and I was unable to use it. Thinking it needed a clean, I attempted to remove the mouthpiece which was plastic and to my horror, I realised it had melted!!!! I was totally freaked out to be honest - and felt awful from the fumes I had inhaled. I emailed my supplier (Namaste Vapes) who picked it up and delivered the Da Vinci Ascent to me as a replacement, in a few days (Which as a medical user was imperative that I did not have to wait very long)) -at no extra cost!!! I am still vaping my Ascent as I type - awesome product, all ceramic and glass- easy to clean thoroughly - excellent for dry, wax and oil, and unlike the Pinnacle Pro, made of really good quality material and a really attractive finish. Personally, I would never advise anyone to get a pinnacle pro - unless they drop the toxic plastic and improve their design hugely. Very overpriced for the piece of #$@& that I found it to be.

I feel like this vape had a ton of potential to be a beast. I owned one for about a year and a half no issues and everyone that hit it loved it. The battery was the only set back for me. Ive been curious if vapor blunt would toss put the 3 version best I thought that was going to rebuild the name and quality of this company. To not hear anything new from them is disappointing. I wish this company nothing but the best in the future and would hate to see this and the vapor blunt be the last of their vapes...
Anyways with that said it would take a lot for me to invest in this company they seem to really lack with consistency and customer service. Which its the basic foundation of a respectable company.

When it works, the PnP is a great vaporizer. My battery pooped out after about 4 months and never produced the same quality vapor again. Those first few months with it though...wow. I've since moved on to much more reliable vapes. I too hope VaporBlunt can make a comeback, but I can only recall product failures whenever they are mentioned in the last year.

I've had a functional battery for 1,5 years now, one mouthpiece melted on me and the collar has a crack.
I've used it on heat settings 1 too 4, with eater and dry, hooked up to whips, with bublers.
It is finicky, CS is BS, the main guy behind this vapes presence on this thread have at times been troubling. I don't care if he's sad or what not, when many people seem to feel tricked. Quite unprofessional.
I never really felt safe carrying it with me in the pocket, due to the weak materials and obvious flaws in mouth piece designs. Speaking of the design, the general aestethics of this vape reminds me of how keyboards and Windows PC accesories used to look. Not good.
ON THE OTHER HAND, it hits so very, very hard. Even now, when I'm dabbing a lot, some good herb sprinkled with some hash in a well packed bullet sends me to outer space, and last forever, making it a great session vape.
Supereasy to use. Passing this amongst friends is great fun. Litteraly no learning curve. In this sense it was the perfect first vape for me.
The bullet system is a great way to meassure amounts of material, and also a fantastic way to keep the chamber clean.
It can give you a great variety of effects depending on temp.
It had so much potential, and still I love mine.
A testament to the impact of this vape must be all it's children. The Imags and the Storms and the Transporters and the what nots are all better vapes than Ol' Ma Pinnacle, but she was there before them.
I hope mine last me for a long time still, so I can enjoy it's brutal power every now and then.
But would I recomend buying one? No, and that's saddens me. It brought me so much joy.
My first vape was a flawed vape, but it does what it does very good - it gets you BLASTED!

I really think this vape has some good possibilities but some changes need to be made to the materials and how close the mouthpiece is in proximity to the oven. This vaporizer has a very short air path and has a tendency to get very hot. That could have been the problem with the melted mouthpieces and cracked collars.
Something needs to be something done about the battery too. There needs to be some way to have it replaced that doesn't cost the owner too much money.
I haven't really kept in the know with his vaporizer. I had heard some time ago a new version was in the works. I haven't been paying much attention, my thoughts are elsewhere.

I had a couple spare chargers lying around my house (originally came from a Targus USB hub)
This is a charger that works perfectly with the PNP.
It is high amperage 4A for 5V which is very difficult to find.
I keep one in my car.
I still bust it out during sessions with friends.
As per @NorVape , it is so easy for new users to use the PNP straight from the get, right off the bat.
(Without rolling up a bat!)
I also use an extension cord, because the cord on this charger is very short.

Having a charger allows for all day/night vaping.
Just remember to allow for cool down periods between sessions so not to over exert/heat the unit.
