I use an elbow joint with a basket in it, and the tubing fits perfectly into a 14mm receptacle with no need for adaptors.

with the water tool attached, one can pull absolutely massive one hitters :)

the one I posted a pic of just a few posts up from this one, although, any water tool that can accept a rubber hose will work, they basically just replace the mouth piece :)

no, the rubber tubing fits into the bottom of it perfectly. if you buy an elbow joint, and want to put a basket into it to use directly on the SSV, you'll need to ensure you have the ground glass element cover for it, so it all fits :)

Do you ever get bud falling out the basket screens since its so close to the edge?

not really, and it it does, it is very, very minimal; I draw slightly on it before putting into the 'Surfer, too, so that probably helps.

those parts are exactly what I use - get ready for some intense hits, don't over pack the bowl right to the rim, use a half bowl, then work out what you'd normally use from there :)

I have the GG heater cover and wand, and for water, I use the 7th floor water adaptor. I have used the arizer set up, from a friends arizer. I liked the ssv set up better, and the whip tubing is larger than the arizer, if that matters.

I've also recently compared the standard whip and heater cover to the GG set up. I like the GG better for water and the standard for hitting it dry.

I use em all. Vaporizer discrimination has no place in modern society :peace:.
Direct for me, whips for use with the other half, bags for groups and when i want to get ripped without moving.

I also prefer bags (forced-air) for selective extraction, the automated airflow allows the temperature knob to better control load temp - removing variables with open-loop control improves repeatability.
So if i wanted to keep the temps low, and have conviction in that outcome i would gravitate to forced-air over direct or whip with our line.

I understand preference, but there is logic behind every configuration.
You won't find whip vapes in any medical studies or journals, as bags are better suited to patient care by removing the patient from the process to ensure repeatability and reliability.

Whips offer flexibility of course, at the cost of taste - though i consider that of negligible importance when compared to the smell factor, which again isn't an issue for me. I open my mouth enough to make smells the least of my worries, plus if your whip smells more than your bud - its a sign to migrate to greener pastures :freak:.

Direct offers a better taste by utilization of inert materials, though their inherent rigidity imposes constraints on moving the mouthpiece.
Where did directdraw come from anyway, as in the terminology?
The only difference between whip and directdraw is the material type used, what i mean by this is if i use a whip composed of sufficiently inert material - it could be considered analogous to flexible glass, so what is this frankenstein monster classified as?

And a rough Saturday morning it is.... Do they still make those elev8 recyclers?
Not for me, though i was up trying to source parts for a few concept prototypes till 4AM here i avoid the ethanol. Much prefer 5 grams of GHB :freak:

No one will be in today, though i will use private emails to get in contact.

I haven't seen the smaller recycler for a while- ill look into it.
My favourite little piece

Man, what a dsy.

What a GREAT day!

I started off with vaping some strawberry cough and grape ape this morning in my ssv. After learning to take smaller hits and controlling for a lower temp I haven't had much throat irritation and coughing, which is great since the blowback from using a bubbler made the ssv session a little tedious to deal with (disconnecting the wand before heading to exhale, etc). Delicious flavor as always, but my screen was getting clogged. No prob, time to iso the wand and clean up anyway.

Popped those pieces in an ISO bath, loaded up my oil nail kit and hooked that up to my bubbler (seeing how much oil condenses on the sides of the bubbler is a bit worrisome) and enjoyed many a session of king tut, og bubba kush (or something of that vein) and og sour lemon. Man, playing games and listening to music, set my day up right and all the shit from the past week melted away. Anxiety for tonight's networking session also evaporated, and I took a few more hours before heading out to see Neurosis, one of my favorite bands whom I have never seen until now, and I'm riding quite happily on this high ssv-induced cloud :)

Okay so I have had my SSV for like eight or nine months and I really love it but I do have a question and that is if I use at least once a day for a week or two I get like chapped lip on my bottom lip and it crack like right in the middle and hurts like hell. If I take a break for like a week or two it goes away but once I start back up same deal. Does anyone know how to prevent this?
