The Mighty/Mighty+ by Storz & Bickel

Mighty's were updated first actually. Assuming you buy from S&B or somewhere you can ask for a unit manufactured in the last month you will get the latest design.

Ok good to know. Thank you for the info. And yes, I order directly from SB for that exact reason. I want the latest model and I like the piece of mind from getting it directly from the manufacturer. Looks like I will order the mighty within a week :)

My previous statement about 10+ sessions should be amended to up to 10 sessions. Crafty gets me 4-5 so makes sense Mighty is 8-10. Still seems the same overall to my old one though.

I do remove the hologram every time (as the hologram is a sticker it has to be stuck with something and ISO is great at removing this) and I have found it quite easy to do, and I don't use tools and I don't have nails (well not that are any use for anything). To remove it put it in the open position then you should notice there is about 1mm of play side to side, this is how it comes off, you push it to one side (don't matter which) whatever way you push it that's the side that will come off first so if you push it left lift the left side up then push it right (the other way) and the other side comes off, to refit just do the reverse, put one side on then push it to the other side (that's not attached) and press down till you hear the click, job done

Quoting this from the Crafty thread as it applies. It's the best way to remove the hologram locking mechanism from the cooling units without fear of breaking a "rail".

Right, I'm up to page 114 so far and I'm about ready to buy this thing as I'm not getting on with my lsv due to coughing to much and the solo needs replacing. Loving all the tips and advice, so far no questions just wanted to say hi, what a wealth of info!

And what a refreshing post! It's not very often that you hear somebody not asking a question and actually reading the thread! I'm a little behind myself but am trying to become active again as it is my primary and only vape at the moment. Had the LSV...MUCH prefer the Mighty! Actually prefer the Mighty over most other desktops including all the expensive big boys! This has been my favourite vape invention as of yet, and I really like S&B products overall. The Mighty sold me.

Hello everyone,

I have a Mighty on the way in the next Massdrop order and have a question regarding replacement screens and o-rings. When initially researching the Mighty I came across a page on FC that showed someone's aftermarket solution in finding high temperature silicone o-rings as well as screens. The o-rings were orange and I believe came in a bag of 25? Or, perhaps it was the screens that came in a bag of 25.

In any case, I have been searching for that post for the last 50 pages by scrolling through and looking for the pic that I remember - but nada so far. Then I thought that maybe it was in the Crafty thread.

After not finding that post by way of a Google search I thought that after expending all that effort that it might just be easier to ask here if anyone can point me to that specific post that I am thinking of either by way of a reply here or a PM to me directly.

Thanks

Update: Ok....now I've scrolled through the first 30 pages as well as from page 120 onwards.....really at a loss now where I saw that post and don't want to have to check every Crafty & Mighty posting

I have yet to change any o rings and Im 8 months on a crafty and 6 on a mighty.

That is good news.....but doesn't help me find that post. Another reason I am looking for that post is that I would guess that the link would also contain other sized high temp o-rings as well and I was looking to get some both for the Mighty as well as to see if they sold the size that would fit my UD heater core ........so that I could get everything from one place.

OK.......finally found it - it was in the Crafty thread.......a post by "Ricchini".
Perhaps this info might help another new Mighty owner?

Regarding the orings and screens from that industrial supply site. They won't ship to Canada unless you are a business.

Reality can sometimes be a buzzkill. But at least I've found the sizing info and perhaps can track down a local supplier.

I go where the thrills are
I have yet to change any o rings and Im 8 months on a crafty and 6 on a mighty.

They come out like new after a very quick ISO soak. Plus the thing comes with an extra set....unless I drop one and it rolls somewhere I can't find it (even odds in my house!) I suspect my Mighty itself will need warranty service before I have to buy any O-rings. :p

I've had a Crafty since shortly after it came out and I'm considering doing the warranty swap upgrade thing to get a Mighty when my Crafty finally bites the dust. My first one lasted 83 hours before I got the flashing lights of death. My replacement is at 53 hours and while it works the top fins are cracked and the bottom gets much hotter than it did when new. Likely not long before the lights of death.

I love the small size and USB charging on the Crafty but I'm wondering if I would be happier trading that in for better reliability and battery life. Can anyone who upgraded comment on the reliability of the two? Are people having Mightys die on them as often as us Crafty users?

I'm a daily user and my Crafty is my primary vape. I wonder if the Mighty is a better fit for me needs?

Started Crafty but the battery started to wear fast and 3 bowls was way too short of a run time for me, and the charging took what seemed like forever. Then went to the Mighty and no regrets at all! Fast charging, fast heat up, love the lcd temp, I swear this thing is like a portable Herbie.

Now me needs an Muzzmod!!

Please let me know if you do.
No problem.......I need to look for something local for my UD core o-rings ......so of course I'll be looking to take care of my future Mighty at the same time......and if I find a place in Canada or that ships to Canada without requiring a business registration then I will pass on the info.

Just one more question though .....(and of course some followups  ) for the FC community - it appears that the 60x60 mesh is the finer over that of the 40x40 mesh designation. Is this the way the sizing runs? I am assuming it might refer to "holes per inch"?

Does anyone know if these are in fact the stock mesh sizing on the OEM screens?

Also, without my own future Mighty in front of me - where is the fine screen & coarser screen currently placed in the Mighty?

I have read of some people switching out the coarse screen for the finer screen.....since I currently don't know where either is located I can't guess as to why this is done (reduced draw vs less particles in the CU?) ......so what screen is being upgraded?......and what benefit is derived from switching the coarse screen for a fine screen in this situation?

Thanks.....GTAVaper

Finer screen is in the heater bowl area, and the coarser screen is in the CU. Some people swap the CU coarser screen for the finer one, but personally I prefer the coarser as I do notice a difference in airflow...some people don't. It's all preference I guess.

I just made another muzzmod as I dropped mine on the patio the other day..but I can't live without one in the stable...it makes it so much easier to hook to glass..

Oh man, this is the thing I want the most in my collection now! More than any other vape! Hopefully @Ratchett at 3D delta will start creating or someone else! It's an expensive mod though, with the CU being what $25 or so plus $10 for the reducer and whatever the silicone adhesive costs.... still worth it! It's so nice seeing it be hands free! I love my silicone adapter from @Ratchett but this MUZZMOD is what I really crave! Damn! Gamechanger forsure!

If anyone can help me out with one, please PM me! My Mighty needs to be Muzzmodded!

i agree totally ! after first love with crafty we started having some troubles :D with battery and all day long charging. after upgrade to Mighty my love to SB doubles with doubled battery life and lcd with buttons. So far i am so happy about swapping to mighty no regrets at all. Mighty holds up all day and charging is much more quicker.

It's really night and day between the Crafty and Mighty IMHO and @lapsda00 is bang on. The Crafty would be my first choice for 'out and about' and stealth where all I need is a bowl or two, but I don't have those needs in my life presently. I think S&B really need to address the Crafty battery issues.... warm up time should not decrease by a full minute after only 30hours of use. The only thing I notice with both of my Mighty's is that sometimes they won't reach the temp I set, it hover 1 or 2c lower, which I understand is a firmware update issue. But they both work well enough that i'm not ready to send them in yet!

Believe it or not, as a previous Herbie owner I now own a Mighty and not a Herbie for a reason. Don't get me wrong, the Herbie is an elite high class vape, but i'm just not into whips/bags and I want a direct connection to glass without having to use a hydratube. The Herbie takes what 20 seconds to get to 190c from cold? The Mighty takes just over a minute, and I think the Mighty may cool faster? Once the Herbie and Mighty merge into one awesome super vape we will be in ultimate nirvana! Although the Mighty is pretty close for me already !

When I had my herbie it heated up to 445f in 10seconds or less. I agree a merge would be sweet. Not to get off topic but it looks like vapexhale may be coming out with a portable in the near future .
