With Sadness i would like to inform that the 8 and Okeanos will no longer be offered on w9tech.com

Our new clients have purchased the rights to the Okeanos and 8 and will be retailing it on their sites only.

We will still continue to honor warranty work for the 8 and Okeanos as we are responsible for them and dont worry we will still continue to develop them as well, new products are in line to replace these wonderful and innovative designs that have advanced the field.

I thank @VaporGoddess

@ED421 sam will contact you shortly to guide you how to achieve that goal.

@THC SCIENTIFIC and @SamuraiSam, where should we buy our w9tech products from? You or your new clients? I am slightly confused as to the new business model. I love my drawer full of w9 products. The Persei and AC 7.4 Dual has become my daily driver. I just want to know where to find the latest and greatest w9 items and who to give my money to.

w9tech.com is the place you want to get your products from.

Our business model now includes manufacturing for other people, licensing my brain and our CS along with our engineering capabilities to other companies.

We will be moving towards providing better CS but with unique items. The oil vaporizer market as we feel is changing, nothing is being innovated just copied and repackaged, for this reason we are retooling for bigger and better things.

Like the DuctionH20, Utopia, VectionH20, Flexo and other projects like Iris, and Triton.

Wait for 2016 for our new product line.

In other words our clients will give you the entry level stuff.

We will give you professional grade devices along with preferential treatment to all our customers and even more for the ones that really want to get into our brand. Like CS that is open 12 hours a day and other goodies.

The 8 is now entry level? That thing is an industrial weapon! WTF do you have up your sleeve?

I am honestly excited for this announcement -- you've taken your bruises over offering innovation to those who'd best be served by "safer" methods, and I hope this allows you to distance yourself.

All of the games have stepped up on the west coast, from wax to "solvent-free" to dry sift - we have access to materials now unlike those even a few years ago. With rosin tech being shared like wildfire over Facebook, Instagram and YouTube, even our oppressed brothers can learn to fend for themselves without having to become an extraction artist to get quality.

We need new tools. Be amazing, G!

Finally got my kiss ac globe glass replacement, so happy. One thing I didn't realize until it was gone was how the little ring protects the cart from getting wax on the outside of it. Once the inside of my metal one got splattered and hot enough the wax would wander down and taking the cover on and off the cart would scrape and get wax on the outside by the top. Once or twice I then accidentally scraped the metal cover threads over the wax on the cart and got waxed threads. Totally my fault for using it so dirty and it was super easy to clean so I'm not complaining or anything. With the globe the cart can't touch the waxed glass, another reason I love it.

i have a question about the hercules: I havent used it in about a month and still have about .5 gram of oil in it. It was inside a ziploc bag to protect from dust. Should i continue to use it or put fresh oil on top? I definitely dont want to throw it away.

i would unscrew the top and bottom chambers check for any leaking if its clean take off the top cap and check that no oil has crept up the sides if it has push it back down with a dabber or your herc cleaning tool if your oil is safely in the coil just fire it up your not going to hurt anything

Any chance we can get a cart that won't leak in a hot car? Maybe raise the air holes a bit.
I always leave my Herc in my work truck all day. I only had a leak once and that was because I did not do enough cool down hits. I always leave it upright position. On the side I get leaks through the mouth piece and bottom chamber.

I'd absolutely LOVE that, but not sure how realistic it is. Would take some major redesigning for it to happen.

It all depends how hot it's getting in your car. Where I am, the temperature outside this time of year is easily over 100°, getting closer to 104°. Where I work, I sit on a white caliche (rock) pad, so the temp on the pad is often approaching 110-115°. You can just imagine what the temperatures inside my car are, they blow past 120° like it's no one's business.

If you live in a cooler climate, not an issue. But everyone will not have those same experiences. Definitely nothing to do with cool down hits.

I leave ANY cart, by ANY manufacturer, it's going to leak. It's just physics. Whatever I have in my carts at that time, will liquify, seeking the nearest exit from the cart that gravity will allow.

So I have determined that the prototype Herc Tank is not, in fact, leak proof. I was ready to go back to the 71 tank and, upon disassembly, found the insulating sleeve with a ton of reclaim. It is so nice to have the 71 back in "stock" form. It works soooo well. I was having problems before, but this must have been due to a faulty heating Rod. That was the only good that came from the testing. Finding that bad Rod.

So, I got my wire and ceramic wicks from KidneyPuncher.com today. First i must make it clear: THIS IS NOT A MOD. This is an experiment and I will be using this unit as a back-up only. I decided to try to rebuild my 7.4v KISS that died ( or more correctly, I killed it). For this experiment, I used NiChrome 80 wire 32awg. For the length of wire that I used the final cart resistance is 3.8Ohm. The wicks come in 1.5"'lengths so I cut what I needed (7mm) using a razor blade and a tap from my pliers......

...This was surprisingly easy but tedious and time consuming. I have much respect to anyone cranking these things out for a living:clap::clap::clap:.

I know this is a Persei thread, but just had to say thanks for all the info on this site and this tutorial. After much reading and wanting a somewhat small vape, I ended up buying an O-PHOS (MO-PHOS as the wife and I call it, and I did add a small sticker of Sam L Jackson's head to the bottom :) ) and a replacement cart.

This was the second vape I have had, the first was Mini Vaped and it was meh...
The cart that came with the O got used and abused pretty quick. I opened the replacement KISS cart and it wouldn't work. Instead of returning I decided to find a tut to rebuild it. Thanks for this it was helpful! I made a nice little kit and have my old used vape carts for parts as well (removed any soldered and glued parts). Just bought 100ft of 32ga Kanthal. :)
