If God is the answer, then the question is wrong
Just got this picture from Alan. Can't wait to get these beauties in my hands.

Would like to know if the wood was supplied directly by Alan or if you supplied it to him..

They are magnificent !!

I'm on the alans list too (from the end of february 2015)so next year will be my turn.

Last question, can you buy a VVPS from alan or do you have to go elsewhere?

Thank you.

I bought the wood blanks from forum member @Snappo and he sent it straight to Alan for me. You can check out his thread here.

Alan doesn't sell VVPS's, I had @VoltageKeeper keeper make one for me. You can check out his thread here. There are others options like tattoo power suplies but they aren't as reliable.

Good luck selecting some wood ;)

@hoyo77 Glad you got the stems figured out! Sounds like your JedHi training is going well.

What has been your favourite stem so far?
so far that metal stem in SS core Hi...i have an older model Hi that i bought from Alan to hold me over till he got to me on the list and all i can say is the newer cores hit hard!!! That long glass stem with the silicon connector, i have not got that figured out just yet but i will continue to practice.

@Nugg - Thanks for posting the photos. Sorry again for the long wait.

@little maggie - I will be happy to turn whatever shape you like.

@Melting Pot - There really are just the two heater cover styles now. Stainless steel and glass. I have stopped making the old style Toasty Top cores.

@NickDlow - Still making the Toasty Top shape, but it has a SS Heat Island heater cover so it performs just like a HI. The real key is in the heater cover design. Any vaporizer using Heat Island Technology will perform just like a HI.

@OnlyHuman - The Toasty Top is shaped like a spinning top and comes with a stand for setting upright. The heating element is soldered directly to the power socket and threads in from the bottom. It is removable for cleaning and replaceable by the user. No need to send the unit in for a damaged heating element. The TT now has the same heater cover as the Heat Island.

@hoyo77 - Thanks for posting the photos. Hope you have had a chance to try out all the roasting tube combinations.

@KeVo23 - Good to have you on the list. Will try to get to you as soon as I can.

Just received some new 15mm glass tubing for making plain roasting tubes. I am very impressed. The glass is quite thick (2.5mm). Here is a photo of one next to 13mm glass tubing. The inside diameter is 10mm for both tubes. The tubes are 4" long and have an adjustable position shaped screen. The glass tube ends are hand shaped using a diamond file before flame polishing to ensure an absolutely perfect cut / finish.

The 15mm glass tube is $12 and the 13mm glass tube is $10. Shipping is not included.

Look's like we are in the same boat. I just gotta pick wood going with a hybrid myself, It seem's like the proper core choice since i have a Underdog and E-nano.
I got both the hybrid core and the SS...to me it is a toss up depending on what you like.....all i can say is i am glad i got both!! be sure you get extra stems....each stem hits differently and its just good to have extra!!

Starting from left to right...
Turbo Stem- nice milky hits all flavor..
metal stem - that is the one i use when i want to get blasted. Does a better roast on the herb
The next 2 - adjust a bowl config..i use those on the hybrid...pure TASTE!!! then i turn the dial up and let it take me home.
Wood stem glass tip- use that on the hybrid. nice taste and the wood well it just looks damn good..lololol
All wood stem i use on SS core...i like to pack that one tightly and usually that config is a one hit and quit, cause i am on the floor coughing up a lung.
The last one is also an adjustable bowl config..i use that on the SS core when i want taste and dense hits.

The stems in combination with a voltage keeper just turns the Hi into a beast. I can go low temp, high temp and anything in between.
