I backed both IGGs but I'm going to wait until you have preorder on your website working, then bypass these middlemen and you can get going faster. I originally just did the dry herb early for $10+$5shipping but I may preorder the Ti if that's an option with the Ed stem, now that @IAmKrazy2 has put forth some usage reports I feel better about upgrading. Can we trust you @IAmKrazy2  ?

Well, per usual most reviews certainly rely partially on opinion. That said i have been a vapor enthusiast for ten years, and have been an FC member since 2009. I also have beta tested for many companies including being one of the first people in the world to try the VXC Beta and Evo Beta, Epic Vape, Zion technology and others.

The VC is not the end all be all vape by any means, and not something after testing i personally would often use at home with options like the Evo, Herbalizer, or even Daisy. But to me, there is no end all be all vape. I am not a one vape man. Never have been. I like the variety.

That said, i think the VC will get a ton of use from me. It already may dethrone the Lotus for my river vape this weekend. That is a tall order indeed considering the number of options i have and how happy i have been with the Lotus on the water this summer. And the price point? Wow. I would certainly recommend the VC to anyone looking for a personal portable vape, especially if you are after torch powered, stealth, conserving material, and/or value. It wouldn't be my first choice for a session vape to pass around, but can be picked up and learned quickly. I have even tried to feel the click with music blasting (ala festival or concert) and i can still feel the click.

My thoughts after less than 24hrs? Do not hesitate to take the plunge. You can't go wrong. I hate to say this, but i personally do not see my Vapman or Peace getting any use with the VC around.

Same here... now that we've had such a positive report, I went straight for the Ti. Third time's a charm??

It will be a bittersweet day indeed if (when?) the Vapcap retires my beloved Vapman!
Would you say they hold about the same amount of material?

How? Magic for all i know. I have no idea.

What i can tell you is there is almost a double click. You can feel and hear it while heating, and it is an indicator the VC is either going into or coming out of optimal temp range. Watch the VC video for a better idea. Takes well under 10 seconds to heat with a torch lighter, and you can decrease cap cooling time by blowing on it.

Edit. VapCap vs. VM bowl size? They are pretty similar. And the VM will likely remain as one of my go to vapes for portable hash and oil consumption. I have yet to try the VC with anything but herbal flower... yet

@friedrich after further review the VC has the higher capacity. This is mostly because you can really cram the VC bowl full as hell even with unground chunks of material and extract fully. I personally barely fill the VM crucuiple as my results aren't as good when crammed full.

Another thing to consider is the VM/Peace are pure conduction, which will always have a place for me as far as vapor profile. The VM is more durable than the VC and likely so is the Peace.

Edit. I had mentioned the VC posibly being my new exclusive river vape this weekend. It will certainly make the trip but due to my tolerance and the rather small capacity I will also bring my Lotus.

@VapCap will the gong vapcaps be available for early buys as well?

Mod note: Edited to remove portion of post that breaks rules.

How's the smell? And how good is the special case at keeping the smell in? I just ordered mine again! I'm still excited for this thing!

I have been keeping mine clean so I can't really comment but the case is air light and water tight ala the VapMan case which does an excellent job in containing the VapMan odor, and the VM is a stinky boy.
How about the actual vapor and while heating the vc?

With a standard torch lighter with a pretty big flame heat up is around 10 seconds give or take. With the triple torch George gave me heat up is a little less. I usually take two long drags per heat cycle sometimes fingering the carb hole but mostly letting it free flow. I then blow on the tip if i have yet to hear the cool down click, or go for a third drag and wait for the click. Once you hear the cool down click second, third, forth, or any additional heating cycles usually take around 5 to 6 seconds or less depending on if the vape has only cooled a few minutes or less. It seems the triple torch fully extracts all my loads in 3 heating cycles. 4th is not needed. With less powerful heat it appears one may need more heat sessions for full extraction.

Here is the latest version of Ed's VapCap with Ti tip.

@VapCap will the gong vapcaps be available for early buys as well?

Yes, I will have the Gong and one or more of Ed's Wongs available on my website for pre-order very soon.
Any suggestions on a good glass guy?

@VapCap after you launch your cart will paypal be accepted as a payment option?

My website will take Paypal as well as credit cards. I hope to have it up before the end of the day.

Is there an inner tube as well with the Ti/Ed model and a carb hole? I like fresh air mixed in my vapor just like the VM... Much smoother experience!

Yes, the inner tube and the air/vapor port are very important features for proper and smooth functioning of the VapCap. I am working out how they will integrate right now.
