Which reminds me. Too bad I can't get an engraving on my GH. Maybe down the road. When grasshopper is as old as NASA.

I don't know much about metal work, I wouldn't want a gouge, but if mine had some minor surface scratches I wouldn't care, I will make plenty of those the first week anyway. Some people I know wouldn't be able to handle a blemish. OCD

It would help with identification of hoppers. I don't want to grab an SS and leave my TI in the hands of some greasy fingered fool(one of my friends) when I'm dazed and confused.

this thread is ridiculous sometimes... regarding the speculations... someone with no clue and a new pre orderer said they were in china and speculations begun and so on... please stop this speculations... it is really getting boring... it is really silly...and it also does not help ghl neither us because if there are people beliefing all that bs and cancelling their order they maybe really will go out of money then nobody will see maybe his ordered gh... so keep cool give them a chance...

we will see what will happen but sometimes if i am reading this thread i am feeling like in kindergarten... it is really getting anoying...

and of course i am not talking about people who recived faulty units i am speaking of people with really no clue talking and speculationg all the time...

I dont remember seeing that but most speculations have to do with the quality control and stuff lately which is not totally unfounded

I think you have FC confused with reddit. There was mention of the reddit thread on here but no one here was saying GHL was in china

It wasn't even this thread, it was the "shipping poll " thread. Which by its very title, lends itself to speculation....

Of course, there's an obvious solution if someone doesn't enjoy reading a bunch of posts- don't.

ok i am sorry the china trip was mentioned in the gh shipping thread... and i also stated in my previous post that i am not against people telling of their faulty grasshopper (dents, scratches, back end and so on)... I also want to read about the problems people have who recived their gh...

you are right it was mentioned maybe only in the shipping gh thread.... ok then let us open a gh speculation thread? because this thread is getting messed up and it is hard to sepperate the speculations from the true facts and experience about the gh from people already having their gh... or maybe we can reanimate the eralier gh thread in the thread candidates section for speculations...
because as i said earlier this thread becomes confusing...

I Believe The shipping poll thread is now the thread for speculation and other bitching and this one should be more about the unit itself, but until the company starts actually shipping a decent number of 'hoppers most of us can only speculate while we wait and have discussions about it.

After two weeks with the grasshopper, I've decided it's time to share some early impressions. You can read all about it in my article for FC's new resource section. Please do rate the article and share your thoughts!

As a disclosure, I haven't been left untouched by the recent mishaps in Hopper Labs' shipping. I was sent a replacement due to blemishes on the first unit sent to me, and the replacement suffers from the hot collar issue. Like others, I'm presently waiting for a response from the team. Here's to hoping they pull through all this; this is quite a vape IMO!

Great review .... I never knew there was that separate part of FC. That should get used more often (I'll use it in the future).

"Resources."
It's not very specific, presumably on purpose. There are only a handful of things posted currently, but it's probably safe to assume categories will appear as more content is generated.

This is news to me, idk if it was ever mentioned but I did not know that... not very surprised or anything, just good to know otherwise I wouldnt bother to make sure it is totally off when I have mine

The LED thingy is also very interesting. Bummer to hear there's no way to switch the lights off for stealth mode in dark places (movie theater etc.) as you can't cover them since it's the air intake holes.

About the on-Off (auto) switching. Asked myself why they didn't want to implement a kinda wake-up-draw function when in sleep mode - as you probably had half the clicking...
Too bad to hear that the sleep mode itself pulls much energy and it does not switch off totally after another secs or mins. I thought this was smarter.

Besides these "issues" everything sounds great and I'm def happy to get it some day in the (near?) future!

To everyone owning this thing already - enjoy this thing, you lucky ones
