This might be assumed but I just wanted to double check. All the china pieces we're getting are all soda-lime glass and not real boro silicate right? Has any seller ever confirmed to be working with real boro? I have quite a large collection of china pieces, but I also have some hitmans, the glass on the hitmans feel and look slightly different I thought.

It looks like soda-lime is easier to crack from heat (due to the higher CoE), which I've seen tend to happen with china rigs until I started using a drop down on all of them.

What are your thoughts?

I always use a drop down anyways. I've had a nail seize on my joint before... Luckily it was on a real Pulse drop down that ended up snapping in my HE nail (I tried everything under the sun to get it off). So yes use a drop down! Haha or get a reclaim and collect reclaim for later

Hey guys i been looking for a new bong and i would like some explanations why would you choose which one and why do you think its better then the others. The prices are no issue. I have up-to $150 to spend.

The last piece of the puzzle arrived today, still rather quick considering many people reporting 3 week shipping waits. I'm very happy with everything although the dropdown has a little wiggle not sure if it's the banger or dropdown.

I can pull on the Fc-710 for 15sec straight, I can see why people are saying it's great for function. Can't wait to get some concentrate to try this out!

The first question is flower or concentrate? I don't know anything about any of the brands but I'd probably go with the 2nd link first and then the 3rd. 2nd link is my first choice because I like the matrix/tire, double matrix might be too much for concentrate though. 3rd is just a standard straight tube basically. Can't go wrong. I think most people will agree to stay away from honey comb discs since it causes drag.

Cheers bro, the only thing I hate is the orientation of my windows not allowing for window mount AC units. Builders should've went with central air but oh well.

My package came and my girl opened it up and I'm 2/2 with Steven's pieces. I'm at work now so I haven't hit it yet but my girl took awesome pictures and doesn't look to be cracked anywhere and the joints look nice. I'll share some more once I get home.

Yea Steven stepped up his shipping game at least when compared to my first experience with him that includes time and also condition of shipped items.

I have it paired with the jlh quartz bangers or an old Silika domeless Ti nail. rotate in between because im still seasoning the banger.

That's good news, I do plan to order another piece but not sure if I want the Mini or Donut yet.

I'm really hoping we can get a decent copy of the Pukinbeagle Helicopter bubbler. Jane keeps asking me for ideas on how the perc is supposed to work and I know there are a few other members trying to get this piece made too. It's going to be difficult but I think Steven could pull it off.

Nah haha dabuccino and straight fab. Straight fab is beautiful in person! Thick base and not wobbly. Feels solid and comfortable in your hand. The slitted perc is centered and each one fires. No wonky looking joints. The mouthpiece is a little smaller than I had expected but not a deal breaker for me. Pulled on it and no drink :) 10/10 form and function! I definitely recommend if your willing to wait 3 weeks or so. Oh! Packaged pretty well box with lots of bubble wrap. My girl said it took her almost 10 mins to get it out.

Any you guys have tips on posting pictures from and iPhone into the web chat box?

I recommended the dabbuchino to a friend, hopefully I'll get to try it sooner than later.

As for picture hosting, I use tinypic and it generates an img tag which even says for forum/web board use link[\img] which you can copy and paste here. You can also post videos using tinypic in case you want to show off the function on your pieces (I'd like to see!)

If anything he's been shipping a lot quicker, I think my wait was exactly 10 days from order. YMMV since you're in CA (I'm in NY)

I've had Steven's FC-cake for about a week now, I think it's found its way into my regular circulation. It's shorter than the D020 for comparison, but diffuses more (obviously) and gets your head out of the way more (like this a lot, no more headbutting the Solo plus you get to watch the bubbles). The drag is low enough to use with the solo comfortably, but I've got a 710 whip and more concentrates on the way that I can't wait to test it out with. Build quality is great, glass is thick, and packaging was pretty sturdy. Knocking on wood, but I haven't had a bad experience with steven so far

Been using it with one of @VaPeD&CoNfUsEd's excellent PIU stems and a silicone nipple since my gong took a tumble
