Why is that? I assume you're using new/clean q-tips? They should be a lot cleaner than most stuff you put in your mouth?

While I'm not sure about vaping saliva (although I've never tried.....), saliva is actually an extremely good solvent for many things (part of digestion after all?). Interesting idea, but probably best done on the sly? Might scare the women and horses.......

OF
of course brand new q-tip, and I'm thinking way cleaner than most stuff I put in my mouth... remember rolling, how much saliva did you use to finish the roll? Vaping it, as soon as it hits a warm oven it's gone. But it is a great solvent, and my DNA.

I agree, on the sly, but my vapes are pretty much only used by me, shoulda said that in the first place, or maybe a hit or two by the wife, who's done a lot more than that. [ TMI  ]

Just ordered this little number
PVHES High Efficiency Stem for Arizer Air /I can't imagine being more efficient, but we'll see

The white setting picks up the next color a little. My white doesn't look just white the other color bleeds into it. It's natural don't stress over it.

The Air works really well with the D020 Bubbler and the Pnp Micro Shower WT (water tool tube like the F Bomb)

Quick Random Question: does anybody else's AA have a pink setting instead of white? Mine goes Blue-Pink-Green-yellow-red

Actually there is no white LED. Only red, blue and green. For white all 3 are lit together. The exact shade seen depends on the balance of them (and the guy seeing it).

As the Lady says, it's not exact and is an indication only. I wouldn't sweat it, Air i for enjoying?

What exactly would I need to hook up a bubbler to the air?

No matter what vapes, stems, gadgets I buy, no matter how great, tasty or efficient, or cost, I usually find one of my AA's in my hand, with a stock plastic tipped stem, no screen (like the Arizer Gods intended -). And I have a Solo, Mighty and Enano just sittin' there.
Could it be the Boveda62 has made this much difference in my humid area, and it just vapes perfectly every time at green in the AA with a full nugget, almost unweighable (.03 or .04)? This might be the first time in my life, I don't want to be any higher. Sipping through that stem is like playing a wind instrument, I can make the vape dance. It feels silky smooth, cool, tasty, almost milky (not milkshake). After 40 years, I did not think this was remotely possible. Thanks guys.
hmmm... :hmm:

NUGGET ROTATION - at least what I been playin' with to keep high temps for later in day
I've gone to an ABV rotation system that seems to work cool. I put a small bud into the A bowl and pull off little nugs to load each stem and sip (kinda slowly) at it for 10 minutes at green (never past). I have 3 little glass bowls (A, B and V). I dump the first round into the B bowl (stays whole), and can redo it again at green, orange hours later (or even next day). I then dump this into the C bowl after 10 minutes and crumble it and have at it once more. and still no popcorn (not as good as round one or two), but as long as I start with a nugget I'm good (however, last round, if there is one, usually hits red).

In the olden days when you had several different people licking the baggie and folding it shut. Taking a draw off a joint then passing it to the next person. Swapping spit is worse than your own saliva.:ugh:

The Air and the Solo are very easily cleaned while still warm. I have been really happy with my Aizer products. The Air came out with no hype, no false promises about dates that it would be available and with very few faulty units. You can't say that about all new portables that are new to the marketplace.

I think Arizer has it down. Other companies need to follow their example.

I'm gonna start working on Vape -Stations for the Air (and solo). I think presentation is everything.
Got some pretty cool set ups already. Got a bunch of supplies / tools arriving from Amazon, and BAM, I have a new hobby!!!
PS: I built that book case about 20 years ago, simple routed grooves, never thought it would get such good use!

I unboxed mine today. What a great little device! Dry vapor is nice and clean tasting and using with a gong and water piece is even better. I'm liking it very much so far. Powerful little bugger. It's pretty stealthy too. Not much better than some top-line vape pens. I could see one very easily walking around outdoors with this without causing a single eye to look funny at you.

I would love to be able to prepack these stems. Does anyone do it? I can see easily prepacking one stem and loading it for a stealthy med session when desired. But packing the spare is the issue. Does anyone use anything to preload them and keep my materials where I need them to be for fast access? The only thing I can think of is loading a tubo of some sort filled with material. Almost making it like a dugout if anyone is familiar with those from their combustion days.

But yea, man. For price and size and stealth it's a nifty little device. Very happy to have it in my collection.

Yes, many guys use caps. I think PV sells 'em (same thing as MFLB caps), PIU gives you a couple with it?

I use the high temperature version, so I can recap the stem hot. I also cut them down to half length so they're easier to snap on and off:

You can see the half length cap on the left, the normal cap and piece of 3/8 ID tube used to cap the MP end on the left.

there are little end caps like for batteries that I see some people trim down and fit over the ends. Trim down so that you don't have to fight all of the cap onto the glass stem and so the end of it is closer to the rim of the stem. I have a small jyarz (Chico) that I use for out and about but the classic one works well too and has higher capacity.

Vapes R Great
Picked up a Ryot headcase the other day. Nice little case for the air. I can fit the Air, vortex stem, Jyarz classic, extra battery or two and probably some other stuff. Nice fairly compact case I highly recommend it!

Sorry no pics at the moment, will try to upload some later.

I have taken my air everywhere with the stock tipped mouthpiece nobody bats an eye.
I share a apartment with my mother as I have been going through constant treatment for the last two years. She doesn't like me smoking/vapeing but I can use my air in my room with the door open with her on the opposite side of the wall watching tv and she has no clue lol.

I love my AIR. I use 4 stems. The stock 2, a shorty Ed's TNT and a JODA. I load them up in the morning, cap them, grab a spare battery and head out.
I bought a black case because I put the white one that comes with it on when I first got it and quite liked it. The black is more stealth tho. When I put the case on, I loosened the bottom a bit so that my razor blade could fit in the gap I created by unscrewing it some. I then made sure the case was on all the way and then carefully felt for and then pushed the razor blade through the case, into the grove which held my blade as I slowly turned the unit around and made a decent straight cut all the way around. Now, I can easily unscrew to change batteries and that 1/4"...maybe 1/2? that I cut off is not missed at all.

I also got the nitecore charger. I have 4 batteries and I never run out now. As soon as I get a warning light, I switch and if I'm home, I throw it on the charger.
I can play GTA and vape all afternoon now :)
As for stems, the stock 2 are very very good. My favorite is probably the open ended one. Tmorrow I might say the one with the cap on it :)
My shorty Ed's was ignored for quite a while because it didn't produce and was hot. That was before. Lately, it's in the rotation and I have learned how to use it properly. It's great. If you are sensitive to heat though, I would never get a short stem for your AIR.
Lastly, my JODA. I really, really like that stem. Obviously it looks pretty cool, but aside from being tad bit snug, the length is awesome and the mouth piece is the best. It's almost like a duck call.

As far as vaping in general, it is something else. I have a c99 strain that when I vape it on low, it is so sweet tasting, citrusy, I don't know...it's like candy. I think the high is incidental because the flavor and taste is so phenominal. It amazes me each time. I can feel, like, flavor crystals hitting spots on my tongue as I inhale the vapor. SOOOOOOOO good mmmm.
Sorry for that.

Have a good day!

Ordered an Air yesterday. Cant wait for it to get to me. checking the tracking everyday every few hours for any updated progress. Got it from puffitup for $195 with an 18mm joda worked stem.

I did quite a bit of research for a good portable to suit my needs. Since I have reciently taken to e-cig mech mods I have 6 18650 batteries already so finding out the Air runs on one narrowed the choice considerably. The grasshopper also seemed like a good portable but having to wait a few months b4 i can expect shippment was a no go for me. perhaps in a few more months they will get all caught up and i might go ahead on a titanium grasshopper.

@PurpleDazed welcome to the Arizer family. You will be very happy with your purchase. This unit is small but it's powerful and stealth if you need that too. You can pack a full bowl but you don't need to. I prefer an extended stem if stealth isn't necessary. It fits well to most water tools so that might be something to think about further down the road.

This unit as well as the rest of Arizers vaporizers are well made with excellent materials and workmanship. With the Air you can enjoy the real flavor of the cannabis that you are experiencing. It's very easy to use right out of the box. Just make sure you give it an overnight charge or you charge it up at least 8 hours preferably 12. Then begin to use it, that's what FCer @OF suggests - he knows what he's talking about.

It's the perfect vaporizer to take hiking. The user replaceable batteries is something that is one of the best features. The Air can be used plugged in but it takes longer for the battery to charge up. I recently bought a NiteCore battery charger with a car adapter as well. I also bought the regular charger for the car.

I have taken my Air camping several times so far this summer. Nothing like taking a walk on the ocean beach at sunset with my vaporizer. I have arthritis in my feet and they have a tendency to cramp up in the dry sand. Cannabis helps with that.

Those JoDa stems are the bomb, I haven't gotten one yet.

The Grasshopper you can alway get when you can order and get it right away. It can be a Black Friday purchase, by then it should be available, I hope. I figure I will buy one for my Christmas present. All the bugs should be worked out by then. Happy vaporizing.:)

Honestly, I think the Solo was my favorite stealth vape. There are designs that most people would consider more stealthy but most of those popular units are a nightmare to load (I'm looking at you, Puffit) which to me is the number one thing I need on the go. I need to be able to reload it inconspicuously. I always liked carrying around my solo with a grinder full of material. I just vape, dump it when its kicked, and reload easily but I still need to be somewhere private to do all that.

With the Air and the tinier stems (and the caps that came with it from PIU) I can pre load one stem and have two spares ready to reload. Thats three bowls... more than enough to keep even the heavier users happy for a few hours. The stems are easy enough to pop on and off in a pinch. Really happy with it so far.

Whats most impressive is the size of it for the power of vapor it produces. I don't know why anyone would go for one of those vape pens for dry herbs when this guy has truly high end vapor production and it's not a whole ton bigger than those Ego type devices.

@PurpleDazed I just ordered the Air from PIU as well today. Wasn't planning on it but for $169 with free s/h it was too good to pass up. I've only owned one vaporizer - the original Pax. I wanted to pick up a Solo for a long time but never bit the bullet. Looks like I have a lot of reading to do

Great move, standby for good times.

Also plan on 'sending the Pax back to the minors', but don't sell it, everyone needs a backup vape......
