Pocket size torch lighters

FlyingLow

Team NO SLEEP!
Definitely try using a nice brand butane.
I have experienced the same action on some torches with age. The sharp plane tip just does not seem as pointy as when they are new.

I am using a new torch now, LOVE IT!
It's capacity is about 5x that of the stock torch and perfect match for extended day trips... will post pic later.

Got one of these recently for my Lotus. It's been working really well so far. It's a little bigger but has a nice big tank for butane. Also it's $7.

I bought one of these at a local smoke shop when I first got my Lotus. It triggered my long hidden TAS. I must have a dozen different torches by now. :)

That one still works well. A little larger than most, but at least no stand that makes it too awkward in yer pocket. It does tend to stay home due to its size...

For table size lighters, nothing feels better in your hand then the anteater looking Zicos...

I love the Anteater but both of mine had the sparker die in about a month But might not be able to avoid that in any lighter seeing as they pretty much al use the same sparkers.

Got two of the same brand "g star" a month or two back, good torches. Mine light around 95% of the time if not more. Survived 2-3 refillings so far, I've heated up the banger with them too. All in all I'm pleased with them. More-so than my pseudo zico/rebrand scorch torch

 Has anybody tried one of these with the lotus?

They're just over $2 each (shipped in the usa) if you buy 5 of them
Mine was $9 and 2 years old.
My $28 ones OK for cigars.
The one that comes with a LOTUS works however angled is my preference!

Let me know if it works long?

Hey FC,

I'm wondering if anyone can help me choose a new torch for use with my Sherlock Glass VaporGenie. I've always used an Arc Turboflame, and I love the small, sleek design, but it's just not very practical, because often the flame randomly craps out on me.

I don't mind paying a bit more, but I want something that works very consistently, and can be pointed straight down into the GVG (I've heard that some torches don't take kindly to being pointed downward). Ideally it also looks stylish and modern like the Turboflame, but I suppose function is a priority over style. ;)

What are your suggestions?

@dgmulf I have that one and it doesn't like being inverted, others have had issues with it too.

Alright, I'll give them a try.
Mainly because of the 22 4.8/5-star ratings
They work well; the two I have used are slightly different models, as one adjusts on top and the other one has the bottom fill/screw thing. The former is great for the lotus but the latter goes bigger for daisy.

Xing, Honest, Zico and Gstar are the only ones I've found I would suggest right now. There's another was generic "power" torch that's supposed to be really great for ~$2.50 on www.DX.com I've got a couple of those arriving soon.

These are my favorite for my own VG, but I like bigger flames on it and my lily. www.amazon.com/Single-Lighter-Windproof-Refillable-Cigarette/dp/B00GA3U9XO/ref=pd_sim_121_1?ie=UTF8&dpID=41UTy05I59L&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR160%2C160_&refRID=018882121KYHSFZX1JWN I bought the 4 pack and all of them work, I've only put one through its paces but its been 3++ months no issue. Ignites every time first try most the time if its warm and big enough to heat a banger in a pinch. DX has the best prices though.

I have those lighters you posted a picture of, I like them very much and am surprised they are still going.

At the beginning I was about to ask if anyone knew anything about those.. I ordered them the other day. Now that I see other people have been using them and the overall feedback is positive, I'm even more satisfied with my choice. The bigger tank looks really good!!

Thanks for posting this! These are good for the price but the flame is minuscule and it takes much longer to heat my quartz banger up. The flame will also linger for a long time, upwards of 10 seconds, after releasing the ignition button. Just a heads up, they are a much more manageable size, hence the smaller flame, so really I shouldn't be surprised :)

I can confirm, the Eagle Torch is a sweet lighter, I ordered a Gstar from Amazon and they sent me a Eagle Torch. Thank you for the 4 pack link! :)

I went on an Ebay Torch Lighter spree last night, I bought a couple of 3 flame torch lighters for my new VapCap. These are the ones I bought.

I already own a straight Zico MT-06, nice big single flame on that sucker! The Zico anteater is the brother, I ordered one to try out.

and this one here from a US cigar shop vendor, this looks like the exact cheaper ones coming from China, except they cost more and ship quicker. I bought two. https://www.jrcigars.com/item/cigar...ighters/charcoal-cyclone-triple-flame/3vcycch

I bet all these lighters are just relabeled, they all probably come from the same big Chinese lighter factory.

I'll report my findings as I receive the lighters.

Just an update, this little guy is still going strong. I'm super impressed with how it's holding up and very happy with it. Haven't had any problems with it and the large tank is quite nice. I did unscrew the top and re-position the adjustment lever so I can get a bigger flame out of it however. Takes about 5 min.
