Discontinued Peace Vaporizer by Triihouse

Just so Dab HAppy!
That is typical of Triihouse it seems. I have paid for two day shipping only for them to wait a week when it is shown on their website as in stock. Whatever the issue is I learned from my Daisy order and i knew to go into my Peace order with patience. The products are legit and the customer service is just as good. After my Daisy came without a torch I asked Brenna about it and if I could buy one, she went ahead and sent me one for free since I bought the Daisy already. Triihouse is awesome is still an understatement. Who else gives away free soul with every vape purchase?

Isn't preheating almost the same on both?

What's easier?

Preheating takes a little longer than the VM given the size of the bowl, but with the glass barrel you can see your progress as the session goes on. You're sort of in the dark when it comes to the VM if you're not accustom to it.

Besides the glass barrel heating time, it's easier to aim your torch. You don't have to focus on one point and can go wild with the heat, but ,like the VM, you can combust too. They're very similiar. The peace does win on flavor which is a priority for me

This is what I was hoping to hear. I'm sure triihouse is as good as everyone says. I'll be sitting here patiently waiting for my peace

Although I real like the Peace, I find it less stealthy than the Vapman, more fragile and more prone to burn my fingers or something else. Vapman is safer and I can even hold it with my lips while taking the draw without even touching it with my hands. And it can also be used one-handed… ;)

Yes do not worry. Tommy is one of the most honest people I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. Hang in there @smokeydabear .

I prefer the peace for flavor over the vm as well. The VM is much stealthier. It is a well built machine and I have had great adventures with it. But the combination of flavor with the visual aspect of seeing what is taking place draws me in more. I kind of like the additional size. Plus the fact that I can stick it in my pocket loaded up, ready to use is a big win for me.

If fragility is a concern , I had a thought. Idk. if it has been mentioned or controlable. You could always grab a ss. mouthpiece from Lily and make a combat ready Peace. (←Irony. :brow:) I'm not saying to do that, but it could work. I may give this a try later. I can report on the strength of the Triihouse glass. I was extending my Lily glass mouthpiece, when I had a fairly severe spasm. I jerked the stem out and my hand just let go? Well it fell at least four feet onto my tile floor, gave three horrifying bounces and came to a rest. After a while I was able to pick it up and it was only slightly chipped! To my amazement it had survived basicly unharmed. It is sharp now so I ordered a replacement, but it is completely usable as a back up still. YMMV.

Are most of you using nuggets or ground herb? I prefer to grind and store my herbs but have too much debris when I do that.

Tommy told us that convection mode takes longer then conduction mode. That means that it must be heating the glass in some way. Other then that I'm also lost on how to convection hack Peace.
Before when I would use Lily in conduction Peace mode I guess I had the flame on my torch to high and would scorch the load black every time.

I was thinking you would follow the same instructions as the Ubie. For the Ubie you hold a lighter below the end of the glass tube and hot air enters through 3 holes in the end of the Ubie. This way the flame is pointing up, if you were standing it would be parallel with your body and you should never be in danger of the flame burning yourself. The Ubie also places the load about center to 3/4 way up the tube depending on the way you pack it.

My tracking shows mine getting here tomorrow and I just happen to be working from home tomorrow so I will be trying tomorrow for sure!

I wouldnt point a torch at my face either.

Which is more efficient efficient and which is faster extracting?

They are both efficient but I love the ability to pack a big, big bowl in the peace for an extended session. You can pack much more in the peace than you can in the vapman. If you'd like to be consistent in your loads it's easier with the vapman unless you weigh things out or have a measured scoop (which is what i do).

For faster extracting I think I would go with the vapman. I got overzealous with the peace and combusted once and I've now come to prefer it for slow sessions. But you can use it for a couple hits here and there too. Normally my vapman sessions are 5-10 min and my peace sessions are 10-30 minutes, for reference.

Can't go wrong either way.

I find i can use a lot less in the vapman then in the peace with heat-up times being much shorter.
(haven't had satisfying sessions with teeny tiny pinches in the peace yet)

Also (for me at least) the Peace is much easier to use where there's decent light so you can actually see the load, I find it's not so simple to use where I vape at night in a very very low light situation.

I do gotta say It was great fun to pack a good size load or two in the Peace this afternoon and just sit back to slowly get baked while watching a few more inches of rain fall.

^^ THank you @little maggie for the goodness! ^^

I agree with everything you said.

The more and more I use the Peace, I find for something so simple it can be used with much variation.
From the way you heat it up and for how long and even your heating rotation and flame placement.

Design tid-bits: I can be slightly OCD at times in my designs. I try to apply " The rule of thirds" to everything if I can and accordingly.

Peace = 3''

Lily = 3 3/4''

Daisy = 3 3/4''

Oh, and another tid-bit: the bottom screen that is farthest away from the flared opening of the vaporizing barrel acts like an oil collector because all the vapors pass through it. As you finish or get further into your session, you can focus your heat in that area (as you rotate) to get a nice cloudy treat. :)
