Long time smoker here , have problems sleeping without a smoke , but it's effecting my health now, tried edible's , but still having sleep problems, thinking about buying a Vaporizer
Just wondering if it's the same buzz as smoking a J ?

It's better. Much cleaner without all that carbon monoxide and tar. What I thought was a good high from combustion was mostly feeling sick from the by-products.

Plus with a vaporizer you can dial in the temps. High temps make for some good nighttime medicine...

Not that I'd ever recommend it, but with a vaporizer it's possible to get combustion. You could back off the temps until it's just under what you're doing now. And gradually get to some full-flavored, full-effect goodness at a lower temp!

If you want to find a vape, this is the place..

Lots of medical conditions can result in sleep problems and sometimes all bud will do is mask the symptoms but not address the underlying problems. My suggestion is get your condition diagnosed first and then look into treatment options. Is the buzz the same as a smoke? No it isn't the lower operating temps don't cook out all the ingredients (good and bad) like combustion so the buzz is different IMO. So depending on who you ask and and what one wants some folks will say it is better. Good Luck

The high is different. But well worth it. It is a cleaner high and so forth.

If your concern is if it'll fuck you up as much as a joint will, yes it will.

I can honestly say I had the exact same problem. You will probably find switching to vaping difficult for the first few weeks but if you persevere you will notice a whole world of benefits. Your lungs need time to adjust as does your body.

Will feel lighter and cleaner high than combustion at first. But once you break through that stage you will be more than happy with the benefits fucking combustion has brought you.

I know I am

Best luck on your travels

Blunts and Js provide a different feeling than vaporizing does. Smoking gives many people that "stoned" feeling where the couch is your best friend and you dont want to move. Vaping is a more cerebral high.

What you have to do is commit to it so you see the difference. If you are having a smoking session and someone hands you a vape, you really wont notice the difference as you're all stoned up from the smoking. You have to start fresh with a vaporizer and commit to it. You just have to stop smoking for awhile andreally give it a chance.

As far as recommending a beginner device? I say you can't go wrong with an Arizer Solo or if you want to spend an extra bucks on something a touch smaller get the Arizer Air. For the price of what most people pay for a fat bag of their favorite meds you can have a solid, reliable device that doesn't require "technique". Anyone can hit it and have fun with it.
