Good afternoon everyone, I hope all is well! My Bday was amazing had a really great time, three days with my boys was fun, got our new weight bench in, didnt quite get it put together over those days to work out but have by now and I will be picking my boys up this evening, they are wanting to get ripped! I showed them a couple of those old SNL skits with Hanz and Franz, they got quite the laugh out of them! And OMG the concert was amazing, one of the best times I had seen them. I must be honest you all, my boy said that we were in the seated spot kinda in the back but was not far back at all really, the DJ told me the tickets were the lawn and up front, he obviously didnt know what he was talking about and I didnt think to look where they were before I posted all that above, but not to be dismayed and let that rain on my parade, I looked at the seating map and my friends tickets werent bad at all, in fact were really really descent. So when I got to the show I sold the 4 tickets for $25 each, that paid for my ticket and a tank of gas up there! Gosh I must be getting old too, we got there a little early and wow was it freaking hot yall, you dont know, it was 99 that day, was still 90 at 9pm, I mean I dont know how it is in everyone elses neck of the woods but today about an hour or so ago the humidity was at 78% with a high today of 99, misery, anyway I was at the picnic table with them and I asked when the last time they had seen the panic and one guy pipes up and says oh just last week, I said something not sure what it was but one of them looked at me and said have you ever seen the panic before????? Uhhhh guess that means I am old now at 39, what has happened to me, have I let myself go, am I not cool anymore??? LOL, what a way to start the show huh. No biggie, the place seated 5K and the lawn up in the back did about 6-7K so was a fairly large crowd. They opened with Having a good time, and even did a Buffalo Springfield cover I had never heard them do, I have only seen them 8 times, so not a hardcore spread head but I do love the Panic. I took some video and hope you enjoy the couple I did get. I have never seen this done before, I have been to many many shows and never seen this, there was a really nice looking woman to stage left that was doing sign language, she did an awesome job and had such a way of how she did it, her hands and signals seemed to be so graceful and flowing, I was very captivated by her at times!

I spent the nigth at my friends house got just a few hours sleep and drove home to prepare the ribs, got my boys later that afternoon, my wife did me a solid and made my favorite banana pudding and sent it with them for me, dang she can cook!

A sad sad thing happened the night of the concert though, I didnt know til later the next day, a young guy and his wife came from Alabama, something happened and he stopped his car on the road by the parking lot, got out and started acting erratically, the cops arrested him, hear say was said that they hog tied him and roughed him up, he quit breathing and died before they go to the hospital, had a young wife and infant daughter, sad sad sad news. I cant imagine what he may have done or been on and I hate it for his child most of all.

I have been buried beyond usual been catching up on emails and the admin stuff, its been go go go since early Monday morning, I am over the hump of the duties but still have a couple to get too then its off to the shop for a few hours then time with my boys, we are going to take it easy this week, school starts the 6th, gosh already! Next week we are back to Bham one more final time to the Dr. and children's science museum then the following day its the state wildlife expo where you have vendors from all over the country selling only the newest gear at half retail, oh its the best best time of the year, even better then Shark week if you can believe it!!!

@FlyingLow There ya go my man, special is what you are bro! Buying them in town, nothing special just a good price is all! I hope all is well and hope you like the videos above, thanks for stopping by brother!

@Philreal187 Watch out my man, what a field trip, love the pics and your outing, what a day! I agree sounds like your guy has got the itch, Ill scratch it bro, tell him to holla at me and ill get him right without a doubt. Yeah you right, I still gotta get you right, I have you on the list, I have not forgotten our last talk and hope you will forgive me for dragging my feet. Thanks for the happy Bday!

What's up brother? I hope you enjoyed your weekend as much as me.

As I told ya I was packing up the tent for some good ol' camping. And your WonG's made it just as I was leaving. So I took the two 14mm's n used them with my CarDog. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance for any pics just yet but I will. I did snag a couple though of some other shit u might appreciate.

So anyway a quick little story of how my weekend started. As u know I was heading up there around one or two to set up. So me and my girl got everything packed up for the quick one hr drive to the site. So we get there and it's a beautiful 78 degrees sun shining, couldn't ask for better weather!

First things first is setting up the tent, which is usually a hassle for my girl but even that went smooth. By this time I'm getting suspicious because with me shit never goes smooth. So we get the tent up and I look for the top of the tent.... Like I said too good to be true, the fucker isn't in the bag! So we're only an hour away and we needed to go out for firewood anyway. We couldn't fit it all in my Optima.

So my girl says, "babe, it's nice out why do we need the top?".

I didn't even think twice, I said "get in the car lets go."

We got back to my house and it started to sprinkle. So now I haul ass back to the site racing the weather. No sooner did I hit that last stake in the ground all hell broke loose! Thunder, lighting, pouring rain and even marble sized hail!

So I look at her and say, "that's why we got the top."

But my god it was freaking close! After the 30 min apocalypse it cleared up and it was smooth sailing after that.

All in all we had a great time! We went for a couple walk/hikes, cooked some burgers, dogs and marinated steak tips among other things and most importantly just relaxed. Which has been pretty tough lately with work n life in general.

Well I'll let u have your thread back now but I'll leave u with a couple photos of the trip. One of them does have one of your Haze stems but I'm sure u won't mind the others too.

I'll get some pics together of those amazing WonGs, just need the perfect setting. But they're absolutely stunning and I doubt the pics will show a fraction of their beauty.

As alway my friend, thank you!

Good morning everyone, I hope all is well out yalls way! Been quite a few busy days the last few, but mostly good. I enrolled in gator hunting school yesterday, its a 3 1/2 hour program that I feel will be very valuable for the event. Seems I dont have to go back to Bham one last time, I spoke with my surgeon there and told her how well I had mended and said that it takes at least 10 hours out of my day and $100 to make the trip, could sure use that time and dough to hang with the boys before school starts so soon. Wildlife expo is Friday, ohhh what a day, what a day! Sure hate to see school start but its a sign that summer is beginning to end and I couldnt be happier, its supposed to feel like 108 here today, sweltering heat! Went to a friend of mines gun/archery store yesterday, am thinking about getting this

Challenger.jpg

This freaking thing sends a bolt speeding through the at at 350 FPS and is deadly at 50 yards and if you know it well enough could do so also at 100 yards. Its a youth ladies model but it felt great in my arms, my reach was easy and at 30 yards the bolts were fletchings deep in a foam reinforced target cube. Its legal to use these down here during archery season now which gets me and the boys out in the woods much sooner. Fresh viddles are always better sooner rather than later!

@Snappo Thanks for the post my friend, I appreciate you always! BTW sent ya a text bout job, pls get with me when you are able!

@FlyingLow Right on my man, was a hellova show and what a venue, the sounds were amazing! Sure woulda been cool to party there with ya, maybe next go around!

@SSVUN~YAH Yes you do have some beauties on the way, wow what amazing pieces! @Snappo Sure knows where to get the choice stuff, he is the man! I look forward to working them up for you bro!

@NickDlow What a trip, just beat the rain, you done good and those pics show some good spots, am jealous, that pic with the creek in it looks like the best spot, hope your camp was near by! Really dig that Damascus blade with the BE handle, freaking stunning piece my friend! I am really happy to hear you both had a great time and know you been working like hell, glad you got a little get away time, good for you brother! You do have quite the BE collection, looking forward to seeing those new stems with your units soon, hopefully after ya get up later the sun will be shining just right for the shots! Rest well and take care!

Good afternoon everyone, I hope all is well out there! Been having a blast with my boys the last few days, this is the last weekend before school starts this coming thrusday, sucks summers dont last as long as did when I was a kid. The 6th heck they didnt get out til the end of May almost and now they gotta go back, at least we did alot this summer, really really had a great time with them and do so look forward to the rest of it and the cooler fall and winter months cause yall know thats when hunting season is! We did the wildlife extravaganza yesterday and spent a ton of money, got hella show prices on new gear for all the boys and have them outfitted for winter! Only thing we are missing is insulated boots, don't matter how many layers of socks they wear if the boots aren't insulated them little feet get cold and a hunting trip can end in a hurry! Looking for it to cool down the next month or two and then we are going to do some camping, thatll be a good time for sure.

@Reflections Wow am glad you like and thank you for the kind words! I saw this and texted the pic and your post to Connor, he said thank you for what you said and for the work he did! I appreciate you so much and for giving him and myself the big smile you have! I hope you enjoy it forever!

@WoodVillain Beautiful pic of a really amazing combo! I am glad you like that piece and thank you letting me do what I do! I hope you are having a great weekend at the new place bro and wish you all the best to you and yours!

@KeVo23 What a nice rig you have got there as well, thanks for stopping by and posting up bro!

@FlyingLow My man you are on my radar and I will be in touch this weekend coming up, stay tuned!

Oh no bro, hang in there and I hope you mend quickly! I am glad I was able to brighten your day! Ohhhh what a surprise it will be, dont know if I told you are not, I have never ever worked this species, its a new one for me, have had it for a long long time but never seen anyone else with it but myself, Ill give you a little hint, I have it in log form but looks nothing like the piece I have for you. I have never seen anyone with it other than myself. Its truly a one of a kind! Take care again and mend well, want you on your feet when you can, no need to rush it!

@WoodVillain Beautiful pic of a really amazing combo! I am glad you like that piece and thank you letting me do what I do! I hope you are having a great weekend at the new place bro and wish you all the best to you and yours!

Thanks brother! Im glad i said to just do what you wanted because it came out better than i could of asked for!!

Had a party yesterday that lasted till about 5am this morning. Had the stem on my desk but the UD put away... a combusting buddy tried to "steal" the stem off me to use as a 1 hitter. He just picked it up and thought it was a badass 1 hitter wood pipe because it was loaded and all....

So i pulled out the underdog and got it up to 13.4 volts and put a little herb in..... that he kinda smirked at..... Then i let him rip it.... He now wants an underdog and matching stem, and doesnt care anything else about a 1 hitter wood pipe HA!!

Thanks again Ed!

That is a sick stem @WoodVillain ! Love all the sections.

Thanks bro!! Me as well man. Its very cool the way he did it, i can use it as an inch ruler. Its about dead on 4" and the sections are placed evenly apart. This will come in handy when im working on something small at the desk and just too lazy to grab a ruler... Actually thats how i figured out the size/spacing. I was working on something small at my desk and grabbed a ruler.. had the stem right there... 1+1=2 makes me

@FlyingLow Slow down, dont spin out the chair bro! I like below you cant wait to hear what you think of the piece!

@WoodVillain Damn it boy, an all nighter huh, right on, sounds like fun, dont think I woulda made it all night though! LOL, that is good stuff when guys so underestimate the power of vapes and log vape especially! They are totally caught off guard when they start ripping hits like they never imagined, well done my friend! I am so happy you like the piece, I was kinda worried about what you would think being that it was my first with the beading tool and after I told ya I didnt know how the BE would react to such detailing. Once I got the hang of it I did some other stuff and still have ideas for other accents. I am so happy to hear how you have made another use for it as a ruler, hadnt thought of that but hey if it works for you then it works for me! Well done and I am glad you all are having a great time after the move, feel so much better that you got out of where you were at and got you a piece of heaven now, I send my best bro!

Good morning everyone, hope all is well and I know its been a while for me to stop by, just been go go go on my end. Been slammed with custom stuff and having to get the boys ready for school which started Thursday. Had open house the other night and wow with my two oldest in junior high now they have quite a few teachers and seems the teachers really have their hands full. The last couple of days have been miserably hot down here, supposed to be 102 today and they are saying 104 Monday, thats not including the humidity nor heat index. So looking forward to cooler days, oh and by the way gator season opens in 20 days!!! Getting geared up for that too, going to be so much fun, just cant wait! I am hoping to have show and tell from all the custom stuff probably first of the week, have quite a few variations that I really have never done before, had a couple people want some 5-6" pieces, rather long in my book but hey it aint me that wanted them done! Ill do whatever is possible if thats what you want. I gotta say that such a long piece will give me quite a bit of room to work with but wanna keep it neat and clean, I dont like a busy piece if you know what I mean, too much flavor can taste like crap in the end!

@kingfisher Hello and thanks for the question, I wanna say I have had a guy email me about such a piece, we spoke about it a couple times but have been so slammed its hard to keep up with where I am at with that piece, are you the guy from the emails? I would be happy to give it a go if you like but really would like to have one of the ESV stems in my hand before I begin work. If you would like to send me one Ill do my best and fit you in and get it worked up as soon as I can. Gotta be honest I would like to do something a little different. Thanks again for stopping by and I look to hear from you again soon!

@507E Good morning my man! Nice pic and post bro, really like those pieces and look forward to working in your next addition to your rig! Hang in there with me, Ill get ya right soon!

@friedrich Good deal and glad to hear it made it and you are happy, thanks for the kind words and I hope you enjoy it for a long time to come!

Wish you all the best out there and hope you all stay cool and safe!
