Discontinued miVape by Vaporfection

got my MiVape.......First of all, its pretty scratched up everywhere. Second the seal on the box was broken, the battery is all scratched up like someone had been using it by putting it in and taking it out and the wrapper was open, the heating chamber is not properly aligned so when I try to put the quartz chamber in it requires a lot of force. I can't tell if its charging but it wouldn't turn on, hopefully the battery is drained and therefore needs to be charged. I was planning on doing a review but I may not be able to......I'll let you know if it takes a charge and turns on but it appears that is DOA!

Wow, I feel bad for Dan, tough rollout. Well, he will get you fixed up im sure. Hopefully this is chance to just get things refined. Can't wait to try my replacement.

If there is no sign of charging, its DOA.

New unit in hand (overnighted by Dan the CEO). Charged and ready!!! But I gotta go play some jazz, so it will be hit after. Got the best herb on earth to try in it (reputable grower). Can't wait!!!
BTW, the unit feels much more solid when all the parts are in place...

Agreed, the unit feels good with the battery in place, not too heavy but not light/cheap feeling either. The unit does creek a little but overall I like the design, I am just a little worried about the lid and battery door breaking off.....

I have a replacement unit coming tomorrow so hopefully I can shed some light on the MiVapes performance after my first one was DOA. Dan from Vaporfection has been really amazing and called twice to apologize and straighten things out and even though the MiVapes had a rocky start, I still have faith in the unit and I am really looking forward to giving it a rip. I must say I am really happy with vaporfections service and I honestly could not have gotten any better or faster service from Dan. I really hope vaporfection is able to figure out the bugs so hopefully this isn't an ongoing issue, just a small hiccup, rolling these first units out.

I will be posting a review shortly on: radvapereviews.wordpress.com and I will add a link here when I am done. Check it out later tonight for some photos of the miVape, hopefully I will have time to take a few shots and show off the MiVape!

Same here, Dan is the freaking man. Just hit my first vape with shatter at 350 for 8 mins and life is good. Dan from Vaporfection has gone out of his way in every direction possible to not only get my replacement to me in less than 24 hrs of speaking to him, but apparently for a few people as well. To me, I believe this is a solid vape with even more solid owner who will make sure every problem gets resolved in HOURS (not days)

Dan from Vaporfection has gone out of his way in every direction possible to not only get my replacement to me in less than 24 hrs of speaking to him, but apparently for a few people as well. To me, I believe this is a solid vape with even more solid owner who will make sure every problem gets resolved in HOURS (not days)
How's the taste and vapor production/quality? Are you heating the unit with the cup in place or waiting for the unit to reach temp and then putting the cup in, like Sconsins video? If so, are you getting vapor on the first draw or does it take a few pulls to get good vapor?

Taste was like I had the shatter on my lips (seriously great taste) and was smooth hitting, like real smooth. The vapor production was pretty decent. I'm not big on it and to be honest don't pay attention half the time. I focus on the taste and how smooth it hits. I heated with the cup in place and by the 2nd draw I had vapor but I don't start drawing til a few secs after it hits my set temp and I take low slow draws.

Right now I'm letting the new battery charge and gonna have a few sessions tomorrow afternoon. Gonna do both shatter and probably do Blue Dream and some Gorilla Glue to find my right temps and try to let yall know my results.

Little bummed with these initial reviews... I have nothing but respect for Dan and vaporfection but for how long this has been in development these initial complaints (plastic, cheapness, lid, battery door) seem like simple issues that would have been brought up in beta testing...

Mine should be here this weekend hoping to give it a good review....

As far as customer service vaporfection and mainly dan are very hard to beat in that department... I have yet to find a company to match their customer service. And yes they were banned from here due to one of their old employees mistakes before they were bought out. I talked to Dan about that a little bit ago, he was trying to get back on here but i doubt that will happeN... Anyway back then he said he would still be checking FC regularly regardless and its good to see that confirned above

I am climbing Europe's highest mountain in a couple weeks and would've loved to have done my first video review on a high quality vape underway. Alas GH didn't pull through and I'm left without anything novel to test out... @Vaporfection Are preorder deliveries restricted to the US? Looks smooth, this one!

We shot some videos last week that are still being edited. As soon as they are finished, they will be posted on our website and on social media.

I did post a quick video on our Instagram the other night using some concentrates in the miVape, which you can check out. Hope that helps for now.

Right now we have units pretty much just in North America. We will start shipping worldwide in several weeks and will keep our International customers posted; we're still locking down our distribution overseas but will have retail units available on our website.

Hope this helps. If the two of you or anyone else has questions, you will get a faster response via e-mail, but we will regularly monitor this thread just in case.

Haven't been able to post reviews - had a family emergency. All is well but its hard to puff when there is real life drama in the house.

That being said, I just took a hit. 1st try and already, I have never hit a portable vape as nice as this. Zero draw restriction - important to me personally. Ive literally thrown my back out sucking on a solo. Utterly clean flavor. I have more gigs tonight where I have to remember parts for 40+ songs so no more for me until after. But I have to say functionality seems to be pretty a++ here so far... First hit for God sake...
