No news of the unveiling, no news of the OG or Noir's release and no news of the O2. Fat bummer every time I check this forum. :disgust:

I know this is directing hits away from FC, but is there there anywhere else where people find other current motions of news on these soon-to-be-perfect items?

I wish no news was good news... but it is not the case.

I wish no news was good news... but it is not the case.

Strangely there is nothing on Indica's website or social media aside from a slick video about a party they had at the convention where the new items were to be announced.

Slow to respond due to excessive activity. I'm currently overseas with quite a bit of positive news. positive news. There were many video interviews, unleashing of the Quantum and several other surprising developments. It's 5:00 AM here. I'll get some rest and fill you in shortly, but for all the cynics, the term "news is good news" is truly an understatement here. Details to follow as well as pictures with in the next 24 hours.

Though not my normal format of quick response, I have been globetrotting to make a few great opportunities become even better. Apologizing in advance for any confusion the delay has caused.

For everyone who bought an Indica and had the heater not heating up issue are we just more less SOL? I thought at one time I had read where Indica would be sending out replacements, but its been out of commission for quite sometime now and pretty sure its rocking on past warranty time. I had thought of asking for a refund a while back, but again I thought I had seen where replacements would be sent out and I really liked the Indica so I was really hoping to get one that worked well. I know not everything you buy works out quite like you would like, but I did drop $200 on the unit and why that may not be much to some folks it took me a while to save up for it. I would love to get an Indica with the new and improved ovens, guess I'll just cross my fingers!!

A search for ' "Indica Quantum" champs ' only has two irrelevant results, and no videos at all, and ' "Indica vaporizer" champs show 2015 ' doesn't turn up anything relevant, which is odd for a big announcement at a major trade-show.

So I guess we can conclude that either the announcement wasn't well publicized.

I know you're all waiting for the finished public relation package, but as I hoped you would understand, I have not returned to the office since the show. In the mean time, you'll see in this video an early prototype of the programing functions on the Quantum we rushed in preparation for the show. Several FC forum members as well as major vape connoisseurs did stop by and go over the future features. I can tell you from their feedback that we have created the conduction vaporizer that you have been asking for in this particular forum.

Some functions, without exposing to the competitors:
Memory of past vape temp.
Auto sleep mode
Auto shut off
air flow sensor
Private programing per individuals liking.
"Intelligent vaping" This I'll get into later, but changes the future of conduction vaping.

Having received no reply from PM here nor from emailing Indica, I called the support number today. I was told that I would be receiving a new unit, and should return mine. I asked if it were possible to instead receive credit towards a new model, and was told this is not possible. I explained that I do not want another new unit if it is going to suffer the same heater faiures, and was assured that the latest batch has had this addressed. I guess we'll find out... I just hope the warranty clock starts over with the new one? I'm going to be pretty bummed if I get a new one and it dies after a few months, too, and is then considered out of warranty.

Mike will refund you, at least he did for me. He sent the refund via Paypal back around February after my 4th Noir died. Of course Paypal will take their cut, but it was the option I was given by Mike. You will need to speak to Mike about this, not one of his customer service people. Good luck with everything.

Looks like there are more delays as there has been absolutely nothing posted from Indica, either on their website or social media, about their new offerings. Seems the big announcement has been delayed.

Just Thought I would put a comment here about the excellent service I have had getting my indica repaired, it took less than a week and they only changed the internals and kept the outer case which I asked because I had it engraved for my sons birthday, Its working like new now , Thanks Vapefiend and indica :clap::leaf:

Wait, what?! When did that happen?

:ugh: I would just like to have a working Indica and could care less about all the new flashy tech unless the units work. It's verging on 4 months now!

I'm guessing he got a replacement from vapefiend which could fail also(a model made before this new production run)? I'm pretty sure many people are waiting not just you. I originally bought mine over a year ago. Still going to be worth it if it all works out and I get a reliable indica portable.

I think vapefiend just changed the internals because I still have the same outer case that I had especially engraved for my sons birthday , well happy he still has mainly his original vape :leaf:

It was just a cracked latch bit that broke...

I've had a defective replacement unit since May when I decided to wait for the heating component problem to be resolved rather than be refunded. I've called three times over the past 2 weeks and have someone take my info and tell me I would be called back. After not being called back three times I decided to ask why I could no longer place my replacement order with the person who answers my call like I had before and was told it was because I had already recieved a replacement unit- I've recieved 3 and returned 2 replacement units, but this was never an issue before. I do not understand the Mickey Mouse game the customer service team is playing now when before they were always very helpful. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

They are waiting for a shipment of fixed units currently. This is why I am unable to receive a unit as of now, but this will not be a permanent issue. Thanks to Mike for communicating with me on this issue so quickly!
