Right...thats what I was saying. He's saying pre orders will be received in Feb of 2016 and not September...Lots of us have only pre-ordered this month and have a Sept. ship date as well.

yeah, but the way I read it (and would guess some will) is that pre-orders who have been waiting and not just ordered are pushed back to Feb lol I guess its kind of obvious after thinking about it but some of us be irrational with waiting :p

Yea, it is a little confusing, but I think (hope?) you are right.

I'm also very curious why my account has said shipped for 6 days now with no usps tracking. I live in AZ so obviously they haven't actually shipped. I'm concerned because my emails are not being responded to as well, despite being polite and understanding. I know they are reading our emails which is pretty frustrating. At this point I just want closure. Pretty sick to be so close and still have nothing...

I think it highly likely AND PRUDENT that GH Labs will continue to trickle out their shipments until they feel that most/all of the electronic/functional kinks are worked out - a smart manageable business move, and ultimately better for all end-users, IMO.

I would agree if they were not saying/implying every update that large numbers are being shipped out.

Personally I would be much happier with the truth, even if it means my Aug. date is changed to Oct.
That's why I tend to ignore update language and public relations faux pas, and rather rely on what i know about business and how things really roll in the real world. My expectations stay reasonable that way, and my stress level remains unaffected.

That's great you have the experience to temper your expectations. But everyone doesn't have that, and for them, the updates ARE the major source of information. What's the point of updates if we have to largely ignore them? I'm glad that in this thread people are sharing what their order statuses are. That seems to be the most concrete thing right now.

Still I agree with your point @Snappo --it's far better to do testing among a smaller group. Having 20% of 1000 hoppers with issues would be a nightmare for all. Here's hoping things smooth out and flow like a mighty river, instead of a trickle. (That word always reminds me of Trickle-down Economics).

@syrupy - I do not disagree with you in the least. It is unfortunate that GH Labs has somehow perpetuated this open wound that never seems to heal. Were it my Start-up venture, I would've gone to great pains to convey the most honest accurate up-to-date status updates possible, excuses and all, without a hint of ambiguous string-along language. BUT, such is not the case and isn't likely to change. I (that's just me) have found it easy, however, to get way past all that, even in the face of more-of-the-same GH trademark public communications, past/present/& future expected. And me circling above every new dead carcass that appears on the grounds below (flies and all), and cawing about it, isn't going to help matters one iota, or bring the dead back to life - so I just don't do it (again, that's just me - to each his own).

I think it's only natural for you to wonder. A lot can happen with shipping. Does the Hopper require a signature? That can be a hassle. I usually ask that my package be dropped off on my porch if I'm not home. I live in a fairly secure neighborhood.

Trevor did say in one of the updates that they get tons of emails and will get to them all it just will take time... that may easily include enough emails to take a week to get to #tryn2bpositive

Just checked my order status again on the grasshopper website and it is now showing as shipped, but no shipping confirmation email received. HOW MUCH LONGER MUST YOU TEASE ME LIKE THIS HOPPER LABS?!?!:cry: :bang: :cuss:

Prople have posted pics of shipping box .Its 2 by 6 by 4 give or take. People have commented on pthe small size of shipping box.

Long time lurker, first time poster.

This is becoming very frustrating. Or more accurately, even more frustrating. I backed the GH on the very first day of the crowd funding campaign, and it really bugs me that people who got on board long after me have hoppers in hand, and I'm still waiting for something. Anything! Not even an address confirmation email yet. This just isn't fair, and isn't exactly creating good will towards the guys at GH or confidence in their ability to keep their shit together.

Any other first day supporters still waiting for address confirmation emails?

Received address confirmation 7/20, showing partial shipped, no shipping notification.

I must say, the HL folks are setting themselves up for the anger and frustration towards them. They are the ones setting expectations (we didn't make up manufacturing 1000's per week by end of July). We didn't commit to ship dates which change with their bi-weekly emails. We didn't commit to sending an address confirmation 1 - 5 days before a unit gets shipped. We didn't commit to a shipping confirmation when shipped (or does that mean the ones on the web site that say shipped haven't really been?).

While I guess they mean well - their lack of business experience (or desperation to keep cash coming in the door) is showing pretty badly.

Yeah I am a pretty big supporter since day 1 basically but they are getting a bad look here...not a good move saying "shipped" when you don't ship(If mine was shipped almost a week ago it would be in my hands....just my 2 cents).
