The Mighty/Mighty+ by Storz & Bickel

my mighty produces a lot of smoke/vapor of some kind when there is nothing in the chamber and i just cleaned the heating chamber/bowl super thoroughly and replaced the screen there and it still smokes up. I dont notice any kind of taste but chronic when I use it still so im not sure if this is relatively normal from some residue that may have got down in there or if I should be warrantying it
I gather you cleaned the cooling unit also?

That is strange, does it ever stop producing this vapor when you do hit it with herb loaded inside?

i've been using mine daily for about a month now and still haven't properly cleaned it. i'm loving that i can get reclaim whenever i feel like it (way better than resin), but i know i should clean it all the way soon. what's the best way? iso bath? do you guys recommend changing out the bottom screen? also has anyone flown with theirs? is that a terrible idea?
ISO soak the CU, magic erase the HU. I haven't flown with the mighty...but have done so with my other vapes, just clean it thoroughly and you will be fine

Good day from a new Mighty owner. My Haze had to go for service and having no backup I tried combusting (just once) again and it tasted like I'd eaten an ashtray. Made a quick trip to my local head shop and picked up a Mighty. Still learning the ins and outs but this thing is a beast. Still figuring out the best temps (can't believe the vapor production at low temps) but am pleased overall. Reading through the thread and believe I got an original Mighty. Must have been sitting on their shelf for a while but the seal wasn't broken. Serial number is MY001664. I've emailed Storz and Bickel to ask for the manufacturing date but do I really have any recourse? I'm sure the store I bought from won't exchange since I've used it but can I expect any help from Storz and Bickel themselves? The improvements made seem significant and when you spend this kind of money you'd expect to get the latest version (even when buying from a distributor and not the manufacturer). I'm slowly making my way through this thread but am curious what others in the same position did.

You have no recourse. S&B will not guarantee the latest build unless you buy direct from them.

But on the plus side....there's not much to worry about. Treat it gently and you'll avoid any breakage. Otherwise it works the same as the updated version, albeit with a shorter shut-off time. I'm pretty sure you'll be very happy with it (and SB still honors the warranty, so you might get a newer version if something fails and you need to return it).

Mostly just enjoy yourself...The Mighty is a truly amazing device.

good day! recently, as i have moved into vaping, i have been looking for info on a number of occasions, and found google bringing me to read through this forum, but i had been hesitant to register as always.. finally i can no longer contain myself as i have been invited and asked to post my review on my experience with namastevapes 14mm mighty adaptr, which i purchased thinking that i can use it with the pinacle pro watertool i got and the mighty i was gonna buy from dh gate and was expecting to arrive! (long story, thank g-d i cancelled that order found out they make clones.... got my money back and purchased one from vapefiend having the same experience as it seems others with not knowing what stock i'm getting..

it had a second seal on the box, 017xxxx stock, no clue about what all this means. why do some have a blue led with orange and mine only has white with orange? (i like the blue its funky maybe they're the fakes? lol who knows)..) as i conclude i think namastevapes and vapefeind are both good ppls and dont deserved to be dissed! they both offer a good service and its good to have competition and i must add you'd be surprised by the illusion when namste seems more expensive then vapefiend (alot), all of a sudden it actually turned out the other way round! with vapefiend offering nearly no discount codes that i could find except for buying their storm, namste had a ton of codes allowing me to use multiple codes at once to get a whoppin 50 pound of a purchase of a vb2.0 with chandelier watertool (18mm so i can use it with the mighty with some accessories..) bringing the cost from 199 with my second adaptor (this time 18mm for the mighty) to 150 yay
and they keep seeming to send me more and more discount codes!! (just by the by) anyway, they seem good ppls and deserve respect and i dont see any reason why ppl put them down with crying like a baby "ohh they copied my idea". i doubt any of these are actually 100% airtight are all not worth alot but its a greater use value then the money paid thats a fact so i know its only worth 50 cents to produce and should be only sold for a couple bucks but hey when u need it, whats a bit of money compared to the joy and use it brings.. (plus i just love to collect this junk ) but i must add here i dont personally like the fact that the mighty is not held upright when used with these adapters and i also worry as i would not be able to see if any water leaked back into the unit when i use the watertool and as a stoner maybe i'm just paranoid about that and it should be ok, so far its been fine with no water leaking back..

^^^^ CANT WAIT!!!

I'm also using the @elmomuzz method with glass reducer mounted to piece of cooling unit..it's the only way to hook mighty to glass without the cooling unit...it's nice but it's a diy and I've had good luck but maybe others not so much..

ok now i saw this vid and it got me really bugged out as i just got a 14/18 adptr from vapefeind i attempted to see if it fits directly onto the mighty (w/o cooling unit) and cannot work out how on earth you do this mod of the glass direct onto the mighty i like this as i think its the most direct and would like to have the option unless he cut the plastic to make the glass fit then forget it otherwise its an alternative to the mighty-whip 2-bong, and then i gotta get a vapexhale double swagger was wondering if you guys can help find that cheap on dhgate?

just read a couple pages here when i get my thought together i will have to edit and continue /add further thoughts and questions.. peace! but i have just started my journey i'm still not sure what i'd like and what to get, i did get one fake pinnacle pro and one real mighty so far and i'm looking to possibly get a pax or pax2 and maybe a pinnacle pro or something similar as i like the look and feel and still want a "real" one but i got quite mad about the dh gate selling so much fake pax mighty and pinnacle vapes its sad! (also a real tease, its like thats what they should cost with next day real products.. not fakes from china with 3weeks delivery lol) i only just got into vaping as i have been to long under the illusion that my snoop dog herbalizer was a vapourizer (sold as one mislead me and i still think i should get my money back for that one! as it burns and doesnt vape! now all its good for is to light bongs and cigs (better then using gas)) so im wondering about mods for the mighty and different setups i have seen a few but my imagination is right now running wild! and i'm going for the ultimate it seems just wondering what other ideas peeps can come up with this stuff is awesome!

p.s.

just to add its about peace and love and good vibes so here's a few frebie ideas from me that i personally have made and would like to share so you lot can rape more ppl just kiddin, i mean make more good ideas and say who copies who and get printing stuff on ya 3d printers so anyway how about A STAND FOR THE MIGHTY!!! COPYRIGHT -me, and a vape pen stand as well i know i have seen one but never managed to purchase yet and have been needing for a while so i figures why not make one and share the idea.. feel the love!

I just got my Mighty delivered today from vapeworld and the serial # is MY020XXX. So from the looks of it you have a very early build.

I remember reading that anything earlier than the MY016000 is not the latest model.

Does anyone know if Puffitup has the most recent version of the Mighty?

They say they do but a guy on here a couple of weeks ago checked with them first then bought the unit but they sent him one of the older models even though their site says they are shipping the new units.

I'd say triple check with Randy himself first. Also ask for the FC discount.

Thanks, I just shot them an e-mail, I'll let you know what I find out.

Also, can anyone tell me what's been upgraded exactly in the new units? Just the external housing? Thanks.

External housing, O-rings, LCD, firmware(default temp, updated auto shutoff to 2 minutes) .....enough updated to make it a substantive worthwhile thing to get.

i hope vapefiend gave me a new one, as it seems to not shut off after about 60 seconds when i did a hit for 420 i think i left it on and it stayed on for about 8-10 mins? i dont know if that makes sense or if its a fault!
how can you tell if the unit is new even s&b have made more then one ver of the same item it makes it confusing to tell a clone
another question who on here got a fake mighty?

im considering/thinking to share all my emails regarding vapes to help other users and make it easier to understand the trouble im having.. i also mentioned to s&b that i think it not right tell sell an expensive vape with out a decent case! as i have found on ebay something similar to the 45 pound one which i still want to get just cus it says vapecase on it lol i got one just as good i hope on the way from china for 2 pound fifty that's not alot to add for s&b to throw such an item in with the product is it and adds alot nicer finish.. anyway i should get paid for all my ideas like telling them they should make a stand.. silly things like that they cant think of alone how sad.

im thinking to buy a bong on dhgate to somehow connect with the mighty and or other portable pens depending which i get but with so many different configurations of 14mm /18mm m/f ins and outs i cant work out what to get or what to hook up and what to plug into where lol im waitin on this 18mm watertool (chandelier for vb2.0) and want to rig that to a mighty with another bong or something like the magic flight launch box orbiter watertool in between. any ideas here could be helpful thanks in advance!

They have JB weld in UK. The original has higher temp rating than the quick set.

It is an epoxy.

The auto shutoff timer went from one minute to two minutes . So if yours stayed on for 10 minutes I'd be a bit concerned.
i thought as much, now your making me worry i like it but it sounds wrong! damn im new at this and dont want to get in trouble for back to back posts how do i delete my last post? so i can edit it and say thanks and also ask which did he/to use the orig or the quick set..?

Elmo used Kwik set. I like original as it has a higher temp rating.

damn it whats with some dayz it seems like were getting shafted everywhere we go for business! not good the vb arrived from namaste but i was praying for a black one and got with the red that sux also selected chandelier w/t and got a single shower not my day with worrying that my mighty is not working from vapefeind this really cant get better! i figured to add some small accessories to the mighty and went ahead and got some more stuff from namste this time i spent 30 pound total when i got to pay i added some discount codes and got to a 45 pound gift card discount! meaning they should pay me some money on the purchase! as the total came to like £-14.04 GBP (thats how much they should pay to me onto my debit card!)
not so they managed to get money even thought the card i used said no funds damn pay pal attempted to use my other card and they managed to charge me £15 something and i have to wait for a tenner refunded back to the card!?! all pear shape..

Yep I figured that. When they replied to my email they didn't give me the manufacturing date? It's an early one that's for sure. I contacted the retailer I bought from and they claim they had no idea it was NOS. They say their distributor is in Canada and didn't know they were NOS either (hmmmm). If there weren't known problems I wouldn't care but there are and they knew it and allowed them to be sold at full price anyways. The retailer has another Mighty coming in this weekend he's going to check for date of manufacture. They're trying to make this right and maybe they will.
If it worked as expected I wouldn't care but it's not. Have only charged 3 times so far. I'm getting 6 sessions per charge at 365F to 395F. Thought it would be closer to 10 sessions but I can live with it. When turned on it climbs to temp and buzzes (sometimes, not always) and off we go. It works fine some times but usually starts acting up by turning itself off while I wait for it to recover after a pull. It's not the one minute timer kicking in as it happens within seconds of achieving the set temp and me taking a pull. S and B mentioned taking stronger pulls. I'll try it again tonight but my lungs might invert if I suck any harder. It did work perfectly after one of the charges. I got 6 sessions without it shutting off once but after I recharged it started acting up again? Does it maybe reset itself after charging? Maybe it righted itself the one time I was able to use a full charge without problems? It's got me stumped. With my Haze down for repairs I figured buying the most revered portable vape on the market (and most expensive) would be the way to go. Now I'm not so sure.
P.S. I just remembered when the retailer called me back he said he'd just spoke with S and B and they said that even with the latest firmware the auto shutoff is still 1 minute and that the differences were minor. The newest version does have a 2 minute cut off now right?
