Thanks for clarifying. Does your version have the larger and re-positioned air holes Matt worked with them on here: http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/divine-tribe-attys.14455/ ? Or is it the original one they manufactured before his input?

Can you give feedback on using these with temperature control mods, as to which settings and what temperature work best in your opinion?

A lot of people can claim what they want. When it comes to working with someone or something proof is great when there is one.

Look at post #10 #12 #29 #53 #71 #82 #97 in that thread and let me know.

And the best one is #7 when it's not clear if they know what the hell they are doing.

It will tell you who did what.

As for the all ceramic enclosed donut. Well thats up to you to decide, i doubt its possible for someone to develop a product without any equipment in hand to do simple testing. Case in point a $20 Temperature sensor. Has anyone cracked this open?


As far as temperatures are concerned, oil itself needs higher temps to fully vaporize. I wont go into details because i wont do their research for them.

As for the unimizer it's exact same thing as far as I was told because the company that produces them is the same company that supplies that company you mentioned.

nobody deleted anything, there is something called mods on this forum.

Now you can believe what you want to believe, but when you imply someone came out with or designed something that is when i come out with the truth and correct you.

The deleted content was a rant about how you invented whatever predecessor to this product, and you included your thread links to prove the point (links from another product over 2 years old as I said and was reprimanded for). My words and intent were no more catty than yours, but yours were removed from this thread.

All your extra poetry seems non-sequitur, and I don't understand the point. I came back and politely asked for feedback on controlling the temperature, thinking I might change my attitude and try one from you with the black ceramic. I also think slightly more airflow restriction would make it better. In response you just gave me another speech about who did what, and not giving away your secrets. Pretty big chip on your shoulder there.

Divine Tribe indeed first brought this product to market quite some time ago, made clear by the dates in his thread. Perhaps developed was the wrong word to use, but clearly everyone knows what I meant (product input from seller and early-adopters to the manufacturer, prior to final product version and mass-release to more distributors). We all know these Chinese products are available to any seller who wants to re-brand them, and lots of designers come up with the same or similar ideas simultaneously as technology improves.

Honestly, the airflow restriction present in the DT v2.0 made it pretty inferior to the current gen -- if you are having issues getting clouds, it is not likely too much airflow that is the problem. You could always decrease the airflow by blocking one or both air holes on the bottom chamber, then carbing them to improve your hit. I am kinda curious to see this working with the wick, though. I haven't tried one of my w9 wicks on it, but if it's like the current w9 1700, you're going to need some extra power to get clouds while using the wick.

Unfortunately the calculations is done on USPS side, we use their API and it's the same price you would get from their online shopping calculator.

It's high and we don't like it but that's what they charge.

Prime only comes in black atm.

It is a win win for customers to shop on these sites that will bring you all of the products that are seen on other sites cheaper and exact same thing.

They have their unimizer on sale today for $14, picked one up and gave the fccorums coupon code a shot, found it also still works, so got it for $12. Figured I would put it out there for anyone else thinking of trying it. If I remember, I will try to post on my experience with it.

I see. Sounds like what you're saying is the Chinese manufacturer of these items added a direct sales channel with you as the fulfiller. Personally I don't mind paying a little more to buy from someone nicer.

These are companies here that have taken a liking to our business model, and have partnered up with us. They are not foreign owned at all, each one will employ their own employees or have us ship for them as well as hire Sam to do CS.

i can not as they are not ready to go live. Once they do either Sam will make the announcement or they will if they are approved,

It's about 45 days I think and vapor goddess has not been approved yet.

was just about to ask wtf these "cannon" parts are! Glad to see some pix! For the quartz housed ceramic, what's the difference between this and a normal 1701 (or the rebuildable AC 1701) as far as the end-user experience? Does it affect flavor or temp, heat retention, etc?

Obviously, the plain quartz rod/ti coils aren't porous, so that's different.

Also, is a cannon coil a replacement for a specific brand? I'm not familiar with the term, though from what I see it's similar to the AC style removable skillet, but presumably 510 thread?

Depends on what coil you're using. Dual coil will not really pack much punch on a single battery, but single coil should give good results.

Many prefer vaporizing off quartz nails compared to ceramic for a cleaner taste!

The Cannon coils fit 3 piece cannon style atomizers only. I've linked some generic 3 piece atomizers; we're bringing higher quality titanium wire and glueless, fiberglass-less construction to this style of atomiizer. These coils aren't intended to fit glass Globes or Alpha Globes.

The absolute best thing to power an Alpha Centauri with is an 8 Vaporizer running AW batteries. The Persei works well too but might not fire in 7.4V while the 8, if you can handle it, will fire any coil in any voltage mode.

Questions about W9TECH products like the Alpha Centauri, Persei, and 8 do belong in a W9TECH thread like this one for the Persei, though!
