For those of you looking to order a Crafty/Mighty, VapeSociety has them and with the code "Grasscity" you get $50 off the Crafty and there's free 2nd day air shipping. Came out to $283 total unless you're in CA where they'll charge you tax. Was a pretty good deal and couldn't be happier with the unit.

This being my 4th vape after a MFLB, Pax, Extreme Q, I'm tasting more and getting more from less of my botanicals then ever. Can't believe with less than 0.1g and the pad what I get, ,and all of the taste! May look at either a Plenty or Mighty for in the house and sell all the others, there's that big of a difference....

Can you give us a URL for vape society. When I type in vape society into google, all I get is vape society supply, which doesn't carry any S&B products.

Thanks

My second Crafty has bit the dust with the flashing red and yellow show. The last couple of weeks I noticed it would overheat while in use and the light would change from red to blue while heating. Once it changed to blue, the unit would not power back on till the unit cooled. Last night I tried to power the unit on and that's when the lights flashed yellow and red. I received this unit in late April with firmware 2.06. My first unit lasted much longer. Hopefully the next one lasts longer than 8 weeks.

Just had mine die had it since late November

Few weeks ago started having issues of it cutting out after 2-3 puffs (overheating) which was "ok" taking a big hit and a few following the residual heat. 2 days ago it wouldn't heat at all figured it was something worked loose so give it a few knocks and it worked again to heat up but wont heat to full it gets warm but not even enough to change from green.

Also got the red and yellow light when its turned off 2-3 times since. Edit: Now its just constantly like that now wont even turn on, no more vape.

Time for a new one but im considering a mighty because of the straight power through via charge cable as the battery has definitely got to the point where its very weak and sometimes I have had sessions that got were less than "filling".

Jealous you got YEM as your encore! I'm seeing them next show (Austin) and was really hoping to hear that one. Oh well, super pumped either way! This will be my first non festival Phish show (saw them Bonnaroo '09 and '12).

I'll be bringing my Crafty as well as my Herc! Gotta be ready on all vapor fronts!

I actually just bought a money belt to help smuggle things in. Tried it out, and looks like it will work perfectly! Wear it under my cloths, partly under my shorts, and can't really notice it at all.

Debating whether I bring my lipstick sized USB battery to the show, but think I'll be fine with one charge and the Hercules.
It was definitely a crowd pleaser! However, I have to admit... the vocal jam always makes me think of Yoko Ono lol.

BTW, are you worried they will confiscate your Crafty? I actually brought a small man purse and put the Crafty and my stash in one of the inner pockets. They barely even checked.

That's what I got the money belt for! Tried it on earlier, and you can't even tell I'm wearing it. I slip it a little lower, so it's sort of in my crotch area.

Never been to this venue before, so unsure of their security procedure.

I'm telling you, this money belt is perfect for sneaking things in. Can't believe I didn't think of this sooner :)

After extensive research I have found that cutting a screen by its radius or smaller and placing it over material is the best way that I have found to get the most out of my session. Its sad bc I have 5 liquid pads that will not get used now.

Oh and people talking about clouds being too small. Try the above and maybe a different material from a different place. Could be dry. Seems to happen alot when plastic bags get involved.

I like to surf up and down the temperature spectrum. I find that I can get 3 sessions per charge.

356, 365, 375,385, 400.

Two of those sessions. Final session go directly to 410 for a few fat rips.

That takes me down to one battery bar.

to fully recharge, I'd say about

2- 2hrs 20min.

Some part of me thinks I'd pay the 50 bucks to upgrade to a Mighty if this one goes bad.

1.5 hr recharge time.
90 minutes of runtime compared to 45.

double the battery, everything included in one unit.

Another part of me thinks I'd really miss the Crafty's size, it's sleek profile and effortless stealth capabilities.

If you are seen hitting a Mighty in your car it probably looks very conspicuous.

If you are on a long hike though; you probably appreciate the extra battery.

It's such a tradeoff either way. I wish I had the cash for both. My lady would leave me if I splurged and purchased both Storz and Bickel portables. For those that have both, I'm seriously envious. You have the best of both worlds. One vape provides what the other can't.

Damn you Storz!

Hello.
I have a crafty to 3 months.
it stopped working, simply hung up while I was wearing, with a full battery.
It stayed like that for three weeks with no sign.
after three weeks he came back and is working perfectly.
Does anyone know about this problem?
When the crafty balance mainly seemed to have something loose inside, is this normal?
thx

Don't be too envious...i got both and you can too! Just search craigslist in your area about once a week, they pop up from time to time. Do it! Do it!

And the mighty and the crafty both look the same when you hit them in public...very few people associate the smell with the vape if that makes sense?

That is the first I've heard about a Crafty resurrection! Glad it's working again, though. I have never felt/heard anything loose inside my Crafty, so I would say that is not normal, no. However as long as the unit still functions properly I wouldn't worry too much about it. :2c:

I'm not sure this is the right place for this rant, but I'm not a happy camper. I have (and love) a Crafty and wanted to buy an extra cu for it. Puff It Up doesn't carry them, so I went to Storz & Bickel. Their website clearly says "Free Shipping", so I placed my order for a cu (~$18.00). At checkout, it added $8.00 shipping to my order, so I cancelled.

I called S&B to question this and was told there is a $25 minimum order for free shipping. I said that is not stated on the website, and was basically told, too bad. Either add to my order or pay the shipping. I hung up and now I'm pissed.

Does anyone know of any other vendor who sells the Crafty cu?

I wish I didn't like my Crafty...right now I want to throw it out.

It actually does state that free shipping only applies to orders over $25. It's not on every mention of the "Free Shipping" of the website, but if you go read the details it does state it.

Understand you're upset, but you can't really fault them for it. What if someone ordered a $5 spare part? They'd be losing money on it. There has to be some sort of minimum. The fact that free shipping is even offered is a rarity these days.

Go load a bowl, and realize how much you really do love your Crafty :)

The liquid pad starts to taste nasty after a few uses. The screen on top is the best way to go. I just make a slight cone shape with my fingers and it fits in easily, I don't bother to cut it.
