Photobombing sea lion pulls San Diego fisherman overboard

dt.common.streams.StreamServer.cls

This Sunday, April 5, 2015 photo by Trish Carlin shows Dan Carlin holding a recently-caught yellowtail at the moment a sea lion leaped up to grab the fish - and him - at Mission Bay in San Diego. Carlin, of San Diego, is still recovering more than three weeks after a sea lion leaped 7 feet from the water, locked onto his hand holding the fish and then yanked him overboard. Carlin told The Associated Press on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 that his wife, Trish, had just told him to smile for the photo on their 29-foot boat when he was pulled overboard, smashed into the boatís side and then dragged some 20 feet underwater before being released more than 15 seconds later.

===========================================================
Two things to note...

1) OUCH! The sea lion bit Carlin's hand, along with the fish!
2) Unplanned photo with 3 wild animals in it of different kinds! (I know the fish didn't get much choice.)

Getting my boy back from surgery. So excited he did fine and no complications. I was beside myself since Saturday regarding this.

Nose holes were made bigger so he could breathe in addition to an elongated soft pallet being removed. Someone is getting babied for weeks.
