It's normal. Don't be scared to reach in there and straighten it yourself, well as long as it's not hot while your doing it, ;)

Thanks Tweak. I did exactly that. Not perfectly straight but it works perfect. I had a fun night experimenting with different grinds last night. If I finely grounded my erb I could put it on really low setting. Less grounded up erb vaped nicely but w higher settings. I love knowing if I'm in a rush I can just do a once over w my scs for the dbv.

Best buy ever for $140 2 day shipping! A+ vaporizer would purchase again =)

This Vaporizer is powerful!

I am loving my new purchase! With practice it now conserves as much as my Pax 2. There was a small learning curve of finding what worked for me which was nothing but pure fun and enjoyment.

Now that I have it down I can pack a wand w minimal amount, set it to the middle heat setting and take pulls through out the day. By doing this it will last me almost 2 full days!

One thing I've noticed is that some of the grinded up flowers that shrink during the vaping process will pass the screen and dirty up my wand =(

Does anyone know of better screens that may prevent this? It's not a big deal but I like my wand looking clean =)

Finer screens like the EQ mentioned above are ideal, but will keep the wand cleaner at the expense of screen cleaning frequency.

I just rotate screens in a little jar of iso and run my wand through hot water every now and then.

Nothing worse than being OCD about the glass cleanliness and then your friend goes and oils the bastard up by combusting

G'Day Da Buddha Club!!

I purchased this face melting unit 4 weeks ago, and it was literally love at first draw.

In fact after my first session, I was kicking myself in the ass for not getting one and long long time ago.
The simplistic design and durable components of this wonderful unit has completely changed my life..
The learning curve was a relatively easy transition for me, I was ripping huge clouds on my very first session, and the high , taste and the whole process of Vaporization completely coincided with the "Buddha " as I was in a total and complete state of Zen.

As each sesh passes, I continue to grow more attached, dialing in my procedure... Gaining a stronger perspective of the mystic withheld in the vapor clouds.

I've been utilizing Cannabis for over 2 decades, and for the last decade it has become a medical necessity in my life (more on that later)

Point being... The DBV has put my precious Cannabis on a whole new level of "Medicinal"

In the 4 weeks in which I've owned this unit, I have never slept better, my pain levels are much more controlled, my nausea has nearly dissipated, muscle Spasms are controlled, and my anxiety has dropped at least 50%.

If you suffer from pain/ anxiety/ insomnia / no appetite...this list can be quite long... A DBV just may be the miracle you are searching for.

A huge Thank You to 7th Floor LLC, for providing the MMJ patients with Vaporizers of this quality, the patient was definitely at the forefront while engineering these units.

Also, a huge Thanks to FC, and the wonderful Vaporists of this forum (Particularly the members that have recieved several "likes" from me in the last few weeks)

I just finished reading every single post of this Mega-Thread, and I owe my gratitude to all you awesome DBV/Vape aficionados, I've learned so much from you guys.

I wanted to read every post before posting in here, as I saw the same questions being asked over and over again, lol... Sometimes the answer was on the same damn page, haha.

So, a little background; I am disabled, and currently awaiting a hearing to appeal the unjustified denial of my first attempt at applying for disability.
I'm a medical patient compliant with Amendment 20 of the Colorado State Constitution.
I have a disease similar to R.A. (Auto-Immune System Disorder) known as Ankylosing Spondylitis, I'm only in my mid 30s and underwent a double hip replacement last year.

Cannabis has been a miracle medication for me, and has allowed me to reduce Pharma by a great margin.

I love my Full Melt Bubble Hash, and some quality flowers... Before I was enlightened with the magical powers of Da Buddha, I smoked my Hash in
"parfait "style bowls in my pipe, bong or big huge joints.

I was going through about 14 grams of AAA+ Flowers and about 2 grams of 5-6 Star Hash every week.

Using my DBV... I've gone through only 6-7 grams of Flower and maybe a gram of my hash in 4 Weeks.
Additionally; I've never been so damn high off such minimal amounts.

Being a pain patient is very costly,so I saved up for quite some time to obtain my DBV...and now that I've experienced the bliss associated with Vapor, I must acquire a backup. I absolutely refuse to go back to combustion.

Additionally; having issues with mobility and ambulation, I'd love to have access to Vapor in both my bedroom (current location) and my living room.

I'm in hopes I can scrape up enough cash to obtain either a 2nd DBV,(7th Floor has some "seconds" for 125$ listed on their Website) or, I'm really intrigued by the LSV.

Due to my condition, I do not leave the house very often, so a portable Vape is not necessarily a priority for me.

My apologies for the ultra long post, but I wanted to share my passion for this device and the magic in Vapor in of itself, and send my personal gratitude to the fine folks here at FC.

All the best,

Thanks for your support! and i'll also echo your sentiments on FC.

Its good to see the medicinal properties of vapor being realized, i'm very happy you are so satisfied.

Though we owe you, you do not owe us :D

I too use my vapes for mostly medicinal use (ADHD and chronic back pain from a fractured vertebrae) and so i like to try and focus on consistency and repeatability of dosing - which vapes offer pretty damn well.

I would suggest the LSV to compliment your DBV - i love the LSV with the short water pipe adapter in my small bubbler. It hits so hard is is perfect for hits on demand.

I really need to get my finger out and sort out a FC discount code on the sites, loosing my script has had me bedridden for a week :|.

Also, i see you are in Co springs - where we manufacture the 7th floor vapes.

Check out the H.E.M.P headshop owned and ran by 7th floor for some nice glass and the full selection of 7th floor accessories and vapes.

Thanks again for your support! :D

EDIT: +1 for trichrome technician haha - i'm an ethno-botanic engineer :p

@Herb-nerd - I've e-mailed 7th Floor several times and never received a response about getting a SSV standard heater cover for my DBV. Can you provide any insight on how to go about obtaining one?

Hello fellow DBV owner...

Try H.E.M.P, Google Higher Elevation Masterpiece Productions, this Brick and Mortar Head Shop also does on-line orders.

It is run by the fine folks of 7th Floor.
I believe there is a section on line where one can..

"Create your own Heater Cover"

Hope this helps.

Awesome. Last time I was in contact with 7th Floor I spoke with a girl who was no help at all and seemed to know very little about the 7th floor vapes. I am still stuck with a defective heater cover for my oil kit due to her incompetence. Still love my dbv but the sub par cs left me with a bad taste in my mouth.

If you happen to live near The Springs, I echo my prior post above...

Even if you're an hour or more away, I can assure you the drive is worth a shot.

H.E.M.P. is the epicenter of 7th Floor accessories..
"Kid in a candy store " = Vaporist in Heaven

Or......

Pm me, I'll be happy to go to the Brick and Mortar for you.
Edit; I am however disabled, and have horrible pain spikes that can last a day to a few weeks at a time, these occasions render me immobile, but I'm willing to help you in whatever I can.

i broke my da buddha wand:doh: and the shop where i bought the vape(https://www.vaposhop.com/) doesnt sell it anymore,..
So i checked what would be the price to buy a new wand from official site,..knowing usa have expensive international shipping prices i wasnt even surprised, 20$ + 48$ ship. + import duty = 80$ for a piece of glass  are we stupid:hmm:

Anyone know of any alternative for europe?

Are there any chinese wands? cant find any

Im realy dissapointed to pay 3x the price of the wand to get it delivered

Thanks

Ebay will be of use, i have found a-lot of cheap replacement parts there before.

I am working to try and make spares and accessories more accessible in europe (as that is where i am!) probably being sent from the UK.

There are many suppliers on E-bay as @Herb-nerd eluded to...

I've been dreading the day my wand breaks, I should have already purchased a backup, but money is tight right now...
But, in an effort to an alternative...

I recall @bleak using the Arizer whip kit setup with his DBV.

From the Sponser page..(Europe)
https://www.vaposhop.com/vaporizer_accessoires/vaporizer-parts/arizer_whip_kit/

You will have to turn your temps down, due to the close proximity of the elbow screen pack to the heating element.

Hope this helps.

Desktop Vs Portable it comes down to i would say.

If you are a light user then the solo will suffice no doubt, but if you are a regular, heavy or group user then the DBV will have its benefits undoubtedly.

Either way you are gettin' high :ko:
