Got my Peace today. Have only ran 1 load through so far. Just got back home. Off to do some testing. The first load went well. I already lost a screen though. But the flavor is there. Great even Abv very dark brown. Nice. I will be back later to expand on my experiences.

I haven't tried it yet but having trouble with the screens. Either they fall out or grit comes through when I breathe in to check it out. I will try a little nugget to see if that makes a difference.

This thing looks like everything I wish my lily was. Anyone that has used it yet, what do you think the possibility of being able to use underdog basket screens as the screens for this? If not the normal sized, maybe the nylon stem sized?

For me I bend the screens into a U shape rather than a V shape. It covers a little more. If things are falling out try sandwiching your material between the screens. Good for being tidy and also helps cook the load evenly.

I don't have either a lily or a UD, but the peace barrel is the same size as the lily MP. If it fits then your good, lmk if those work!

Had a session with peace without grinding my herbs, and it produces just like with grinding albeit a little longer heating. I just tore a few small pieces in and started heating up. This solves the issue of getting materials going on and pass the screens. I prefer using a little piece first and use that as a bed for my grinded materials. This thing is very versatile when it comes to dry herbs

Argh...camera issues! Here's a good tip don't drop your phone on a tile floor:bang: I won't be able to take any photos or calls for that matter till I get a new phone.

Okay so another full day testing the Peace. I am really starting to get a handle on it now. The flavor profile is very nice. After around 12 second mark I am get very tasty hits. Not a lot of vapor, but very tasty. The peace may be the best tasting conduction unit I have ever used. I did go a little to far last night and got some slight charring. All my fault for being greedy I suppose. I also have not grinded at all. I just rip a chunk of a bud, stuff it in the hole. Then using the top screen and the wooden stick to compact it down some. I am getting thick vapor at around 20 seconds. Very nice little vape. For the money it is awesome. My only complaint is the screen, which is not as bad now as the first time. The first time I unloqded it I pushed the load out and my top screen shot through the air like a tiny kinetic missile. Lol. Still haven't found it. Oh well it comes with plenty of spares, also I purchased extras. So far the only thing I have done is use 3 o-rings in the heat intake. It makes it much more stable than a single one. There is room for four, but I found it was to hard to pull back out. This thing is tiny! My plan was to take a picture of it beside a altoids smalls tin to give you referance but... that's not happening.
I think things will only continue to improve as I master my technique. I really like the Peace, and it is giving my other wooden conduction vape a serious run for its money. I am experiencing a much better medicated feel from the peace than the other conduction styles vapes I own. It most likely is due to some form of wizardry.

I need to stop buying butane vapes. I have been able to work only the Lily so far- not counting the hammer which I have physical problems with although it works. I failed the vapman and I don't seem to be able to manage the peace. Mainly no vapor. I've watched the video several times now and I'm pretty much doing what's indicated but no vapor. I know there was no vapor in the video at the beginning but mine never kicks in. Same thing happened with the vapman and never grasped the vaporgenie. I haven't had problems with battery or plug in vapes.

I'm sorry @little maggie that you are having trouble. What flame source do you have? when you are heating the tube, try rotating it more slowly I tend to heat for a few seconds before I rotate it. Also when you apply the flame. I touch the point of the dark blue flame to the glass. not the outer most part. Does that make sense, the way I'm explaining it? I'm sorry I can't figure out how to say it better. Here's a pic to help with my poor explination.
M3uKcR2.jpg

I touch the part that is at the ½" line directly onto the glass. Hold for 2~3 seconds rotate 90~180° heat for 2~3 seconds and repeat until ready. It is more a sip then a huge rip when I draw. I also count like athousand 1 thousand 2 and so on or I find myself racing through my count and hitting it before it is to temp. I hope this make sense. You can always call Tommy as well, he would be more than willing to help you perfect your technique. Video chat is a amazing thing. Don't be afraid to reach out to him for help.

I went with what Tommy described for heating. That gave me a good baseline to start then I was able to adjust from there.
Hey guys, I also wanted to mention that in the video of me using the Peace, it takes me about 30 seconds to reach VISIBLE vapors. You do not have to go to the point where you reach visible vapors right away. When I am using the Peace on a slower pace, I will heat up for maybe 10-15 seconds and just sip for flavor and super low temp herbal connoisseur-ing. I even like to just sip on the Peace cold; it is like an herbal air filter.
That is a good torch so no problem there.

Space is the Place
Thanks. I use a scorch torch. So far I haven't burned the wood-which is a first. I have noticed a couple of drops of liquid at the very end of the wood every time I try it. I will heat it longer as you suggest to see if that helps. But how do you decide "readiness".

I have a couple of torches that look like some of the scorch torch models I found on line and have not had good luck with 'em. The only big difference i see between them and the ones that work for me is they seem to have a bigger bushier flame although they light every time, feel great in my hand and work well for other uses I've never gotten very good results with any vape i've tried them with as much as i wanted them to work for me they don't.

I gave up on torch vapes until I got the Daisy kit with the torch triihouse sells and found they also work well with those vape I had given up on with the other torches. Since getting the daisy kit I've found for me the torch that came with it and the vapman torch work best, honest torches I've used work well but haven't lasted long(bad batch or fakes maybe?)

That's just my experience, other's may feel differently, just thought i'd share that 'cause maybe your experience will follow where mine has gone with a different torch being all that's needed.

 didn't get to use my Peace today but tomorrow ... :peace: :leaf:

So I own NO triihouse vapes, the only butane vape I have/used is the ss vg.

That's being said. I want to buy another have have been in an endless mental battle between the vapman, the lotus and the lily (daisy seems too big)

Tbh, I keep my eye on the lily the most, I like the look of it and the glass...so that is MOST LIKELY the one I would get.

Seeing the peace now only adds a fourth contender to the mix.

how does it compare with the lily as in terms of ease of use, portability, stealth, vapor production and time to complete session?

Basically for folks who have both, I want to know, if you could go back and only get a peace or lily...which would it be?

It is hard to compare the Peace to the Lily. The Lily is convection where the Peace is conduction. Neither are stealth imo. The peace is less than half the size of Lily. If needed you can shove the heat tube into the peace and stow it faster. Even when hot , just use your shirt or push it in against your denim jeans So it beats Lily in fast concealability.
The Peace requires heating the tube for a given amount of time to produce vapor. once up to temp. And you take a draw or two It requires a short reheat to remain at temp or to raise the temp and keep producing vapor. The Peace is a session only style vaporizer. The Lily is more a hit on demand style with session capibilities. Meaning you could hit it once and set it down and finish it later or go through the entire bowl full at one time, the choice is yours. Flavor is so subjective per person. I will say that I like the flavor of both. As far as cloud production, I am still working on technique with the peace. Lots of varibles to consider when using it. Flame size, heat time, rotational speed, air temp entering the chamber, draw speed. After awhile of using either, it will become more automatic and none of what I just wrote will matter. The Ease of use I think the edge would go to Lily. The screens could pose a issue if you have trouble with your hands/fingers or vision, hand/eye cordination. But other than that they are both easy to use. I really enjoy all my trihouse vapes and don't really think you could go wrong with any of them. Out of the four if I could have only one, it would be my Daisy. Followed closely by Lily.
The main questions to ask yourself would be
1) Do you want convection or conduction?
2) would you prefer a hit on demand or session style vaporizer?
3) Why can't I have both? Lol :p

@Mister G...i wish I could give you a friendly middle finger for making my vaporizer choice THAT much harder...i have an extra finger for @1_gr8_underdog too for the confusion!
Tbh...i just think the daisy looks too clunky BUT the fact that that's everyone's keeper makes my VAS a bit manic...so now I have to do way more daisy digging.

@subway13029 what is your ultimate favorite flame powered vape?
I see you have a mighty like myself...i know none can compare on cloud production, but effects are another story

@1_gr8_underdog (more details)
I am looking for a flame powered vape that is easy to use outside, I work outside and want something I can take a few pulls from here and there on demand (when possible) I currently use battery powered portables but heat up time and session length has me seeking alternatives
To answer your questions:
1) not a HUGE factor as I like both, convection has a cleaner taste while condition has a more full vapor spectrum if that makes sense?
2) I mostly have session style vapes so getting one to fall into the other category might not be a bad thing
3) you know how hard this shit is already! I have too many vapes as it is and to make matters worse...i mainly use portable vapes, but am looking to get a home unit, a flame powered and the grasshopper when it comes out, I need this endless spending cycle to end!

Thanks for everyone's input too:doh:
