That's awesome, I'm going to have to PM you later - I love my kettlebells. I always thought kinda the same but from your mothers father. If that's the case I'll have hair to spare, I can donate hair to you less fortunate baldies lol.
Kinda feel bad too cuz I always buzz my head cuz I hate going to get haircuts. All that hair goes to waste lol.
Hey! me too! wearing a 1/8" crew cut like i had in elementary school. so much simpler than trying to cut a decent longer doo, even after 30 years of trying to look "normal". i love how my head is dry as soon as i step out of the shower. gf says (somewhat dismissively) that i look like a dirty q-tip (gray hair, don't you know - from stress of living with said gf) ... which is okay by me, cause i don't have to look at it.

I had always heard that too, but my mom's dad had a relatively full head of hair when he passed in his 70's, her side of the family also in general just have more hair.
I definitely fall under this part though:
"This research suggests that heredity of AGA is X-linked; however, research has also shown that a person with a balding father has a significantly greater chance of experiencing hair loss. Men whose fathers had experienced hair loss were 2.5 times more likely to experience hair loss themselves, regardless of the mother's side of the family, which may suggest Y-linked heredity plays a role."
I am my father's son lol, there's a huge resemblance in our facial structure, notably we both have the @DieHard hair:
I just shave it though, I've come to accept it. Actually, it made me a bit more then $100 a few weeks ago as I was called to do extra work as "Aryan Brotherhood" member lmao. They filmed "Southpaw" around me last year and my face was on file; never followed through with it, but they actually hunted me down, for my lack of hair, for some show called Banshee on Cinemax. It was very fun lol, I got to hoot and holler around topless women at a big "Nazi" rally, was able to give the leader a good YEAH BROTHER!! *brohug* after his speech, and got swastikas tattoo'd on my dome. So, there is always an upside to everything in life!
Genetics though, pretty interesting stuff. I have my mom's side of the family's kneecaps lol, ie: not really defined/treetrunkish. Both my dad and my brother have a defined kneecap. My brother has been blessed with a fuller head of hair, but he is like 2/3 tones lighter then me, guess I sapped up the Italian/Mediterranean blood with the baldness
I also have my dad's nose ( A "Roman" nose) and my mom/brother share a lot of facial similiarties.Not trying to derail to much though
It's been said to death a bit, but I also am a fan of the more mature crowd around these parts. Make's for a better discussion IMO, people can have differing opinions maturely, and while we are welcoming to new people, there is a certain expectation for FC that I feel everyone wants to uphold, and we will be sure to let someone know they are not! I like that we are quick to point out when people get out of line or are not living up to that standard.
@Bravesst thank you for your service!! My aunt was actually in one of the smaller towers when the plane's hit, she was there for an interview! Needless to say, craziest interview ever. My uncle was in NYC that day too (wasn't a usual thing), prior to meeting her, small world. Can't imagine what it was like for you; that is something they both shy away from talking about other then walking across the GW bridge because of the chaos.

51 and feeling I have lived and am living in the greatest time in human history. From seeing many of my childhood si fi books becoming a reality and enjoying the awesome new technology is been a fun ride so far.
I remember in 70's with President Carter thinking that cannabis will be legal in 10 years. Sadly took closser to 30 years but its happening.
With the internet allowing a way to freely research and exchange ideals I see the next 50 as being even a better more intresting time to live in.

Good to know your here. My uncles on the job at the 43. He'a lieutenant now after 20 years between homicide and narcotics. I lost family on 9/11, I lived on Warren St 4 blocks north of the Trade Center off West Broadway. What burrough was your house in?

This looked like the TV that my mom made me watch the 1969 moonwalk on. She told me that it was history in the making, I didn't care at the time. I'm so glad I have that memory now of us all sitting and watching the moon walk together.
