Discontinued The Persei Vaporizer for herbs and concentrates.

for Ti the variables are much more then nickel, not gonna go into it but TC from us isnt going to be cost effective if you consider the $60 models they have on ebay now.

Think of it this way, our overhead is to large to have a cost effective TC model but it will come just not the price range everyone is thinking of, but it will include support like no other and even better parts then anything out there.

Everything we do costs money, R&D is not about hey lets take silica and put ceramic in there, its hey lets take silica and put ceramic wick that absorbs more oil, and lets engineer it so that it stays within temperature range for the next 45 second button press. This takes time and money, money that we get a loan for to pay for development, then have a price that will help keep us in business and repay the loans.

So waiting for TC from us is good waiting for a TC that will compete with these ecigs, i suggest you sell your W9 gear and go support the rebranders.
I can't imagine paying more than the price of a Persei, but I also don't expect a $50 unit.

As a reference point I got a vaporshark rdna 40 for 189.99, half the price of the vaporflask (360 somethin) with the same options cause its brand name, I think they may also be of chinese design and manufacture:uhoh::disgust:

Is that a 4 month warranty on it? Making me laugh man. Man these ecig guys are the most insecure about their products.

$180 and not even confident enough to do a year on it.

@ragnorokk i wish we can Say the price at this point but after 2015 we taking a different route.

@THC SCIENTIFIC Hey G, I know this is probably a tall order, but would you happen to have a pic of the proper rod placement for the old Hercules SR-71? I want to take mine apart because it hasn't been delivering big rips recently.

with the sr71 you need the white space showing and can almost see the second contact point.

It is only 4 months on manufacture defects only:suspicious:, I can say with confidence I would prefer a w9 unit.

I actually like where my Persei is at now though, all the power you need just pulse it, though im sure tc could have uses

not saying TC doesnt have uses, not at all. Its basically Anti lock breaks, stability control, traction control, you name it that is it.

Our philosophy is give the user unlimited control and let him adapt and learn, but the market swing will be our deciding factor since we like to stay in business.

on a side note, some people dont know about this but we had fun a few years back and not really shared it with you guys.

This is me eating a 2 -3x3 burgers, and doubling down on a 2x2 with 4 bites, fries and large soda in contest with randy wang. BTW im the guy in the gray shirt.

Oh the things i did when i was going around the pod cast circuit.

Does w9tech run on a normal weekly schedule?

Sam was super quick and consistent with communicating about my ticket yesterday, but I haven't gotten any communication today.

@THC SCIENTIFIC The burger eating contest was hilarious. Way to crush that double in 4 bites haha! What were you promoting on the Podcast circuit at that time?

My 510 mod Kiss Globe arrived today along with a 510 to 601 tower adapter. First experiment with temp control and the Globe. I started by trying a new style Ti dual coil (shallow cup). I tried a lot of different temperatures and eventually settled on 300F. Of course that's just what the mod reads I have no idea what the actual coil temperature is. Flavor was great as always with the Ti and black ceramic!

The temp control function itself on this mod was a bit imperfect. I would got a big burst of vapor right at the start and then it would turn into a smaller steady stream of vapor. I still feel like the dual coil Globe at 3.7v off an 18350 is just about perfect for me personally. The nice part about the temp control was really that each of my friends could dial in the temperature to their personal preference as well. From my experience it seems like each individual has their own sweet spot to find between vapor production and flavor.

Will use the adapter to try out the Kiss AC, Mini and a few others this weekend.

Since most tC is just for nichrome, the mini and the stock globe atomizers may give the best performance (as far as accuracy of temp readings). I'm interested to hear more.

Better Service more glass.
So... the Fry?

Forget the in an out burger I'm gonna fuck with the industry come 2016, Utopia cleared a major hurdle today.

Get ready for a all glass vaporizer all glass air path, Nothing but glass, glass as far as the eye can see.

Let's hope flexo can get through the testing and the duction h20 as well.

I'm in a good mod atm and my brains super flux capacitating.

Fuck em.

Holy Frijoles this will be monumental. This is truly going above and beyond to further innovation. Talk about a pure clean hit. Sounds like I may break a few but I must grandly applause the efforts. This will probably become the new standard after we all get a taste of this baby. It's funny though. Reminds me of my progression with my water tools. Eventually, nothing but glass on glass

I haven't had an In 'n Out burger for a few years. Getting hungry.... :(
That's the price you pay for your nug freedom.

Sounds epic; can't wait for you guys to drag the industry, kicking and screaming, into the future!

Could someone who knows The Bender provide some assistance please.

What voltage do I set the Core to? How long does it need to heat up?

I've had two sessions so far and can't get it to produce much vapor. I've been trying 4.2v. Anything higher and my Hammer Top just gives me the 3 blinky lights.

Thanks!

the bender is meant to be 7.4v there also is a certain voltage range that most tops will not work It sets off the low voltage protection but I'm not sure the exact range as I usually run 6.4 or higher

Ah ok I didn't realize the rod was meant for 7.4v. Will try 6.4v. Thank you very much!
