I think I'm more critical of a vaporizer that's been advertised to become available and dates come and go and no unit. It's like the potential buyers or the presale buyers are teased and dangled this unobtainable golden carrot for so long. They keep promising with the next update just maybe it will be released then, oh another delay. :bang:When the thing is released I expect something really spectacular.

Especially something with a lifetime guarantee its almost unheard of. There's only a handful of companies that offer that.:2c:

Well I'll still give it a go and make sure to try and remember short and sweet hell I could do a 5 minute review that is overplayed on Vape sessions.

I don't have my hopper yet but you know I got the pax 2 and I find no heat issues at all using with the flat mouthpiece even at its highest temp and with a long session. Maybe contact pax if your having that problem by I have yet to experience it at all.

The main thing with the hopper is it is not a normal vape. It is more of a Vape one hitter. Or a toke and go type vape. Not a session vape. The herbs aren't vaping unless it's on and you are inhaling from it. The hopper will get hot when used like a session vape. But if you take a fat rip and rest a bit followed by a fat rip you will be doing fine and the unit won't be hot. Also in that video I posted my friend didn't use the silicon tip at a 3 and he took two drags then put the tip on and went to 4. Something and hit it. He then mentioned it starts to feel warm.

I have noticed also that the first rip is the smoothest and tastiest draw but still produces a large cloud. I'll post an Instagram video here soon. I can take 15 second draws or better and not cough. It will be a whole video of milking.

Hey VapeStation. Did you get the stainless steel or titanium version? Really wanting to know after you talked about how cool it ran after using it for a bit.

Have you tried using it as a session vape though, besides it getting hot is their an issue? I mean with the mouthpiece it should be fine right?

This is the case with all pure convection vaporizers. The difference with the GH is you turn the unit on and off for each toke (quick heat up time, units can get hot if you don't) while other 100% convection vaporizers are usually always on but they also, like the hopper, don't cook your herb between tokes.

Yea definately. I'll say about 4 bowls of continual use and it may be getting to hot for some to hold. But one or 2 bowls it will be warm but handleable. Once you are using it more than just a hit at a time you definately need the silicon tip in my opinion.

Also if you are using it in a session and can a water pipe is fantastic.

I can tell you that the main piece is the screen that has 3 "tabs" that are bent into place to hold it tightly to a threaded piece of metal that is connected to a cone that is made from a heat resistant material. There is another cone that sits on top of the screen/cone piece ( vapor goes from chamber to screen to first cone to second metal cone to mouthpiece exit hole). These cones look like they serve as a type of heat shields that insulates the very tip of the mouthpiece. The second cone looks like it is made out of copper, at least it's copper in color. I think you can reclaim collected residue inside these cones but they are very tiny and without the tool, it may not be worth it, although it is possible.

First Photo: first cone inside mouthpiece. The screen connects to the wide part of this cone and the outer edge of the cone is threaded which holds it in the mouthpiece

Third Photo: The second and final cone inside the mputhpiece. Looks like copper to me but I'm not sure. This cone is in direct contact with the inside of the mouthpiece tip. Its a cone sandwich and I think they designed it like this to help reduce the transfer of heat to the outside of the mouthpiece tip where you inhale from. Hope this helps answer your question

Wow....thank you so much that was very informative...and nothing what I thought it was gonna be like on the inside..... so basically the vapor path is going to be the inside of that 1st cone... I can totally see that getting clogged on a regular basis with heavy usage....and not easily reclaimed without involving a solvent.....

BTW... I grew up in Michigan....downriver area..... thanks again for the post....

Just joined this site, mainly because I got my first vaporiZer. My question to you grasshopper users would be: do you still use it everyday? Is it truly the best portable vape you own? Why or why not.

Thanks for the replies. I guess we'll see how it does when it comes in.

I was super stoked for it, for a long time. At this point a lot of that enthusiasm has been lost with time. I don't see it having more value add than the Pinnacle Pro does for me. But clearly that's speculation on my part.

Can anyone confirm that the batteries will fit in an Nitecore IntelliCharger? I assume that will work fine as a charging unit, I'm just concerned about the length of the battery.

yeah im fully aware it would be at least 20mm in diameter, but could be made to look like a marker. or maybe a flashlight.

honestly the fact that this looks like a pen is of no concern to me. i just want the small size (of which i believe an 18650 still provides) and have the ability to really session with OR can be used for very quick rips.

Exactly, just imagine what they could do with their heater technology if they removed the size constraints of a 14mm diameter pen

Funny how different we all are. Having a vape that FORCES me to hit it & quit it is what I want to lower my tolerances. I can't WAIT for this vape simply for that single-hitter reason :lol:

But I like it!
This could be used like a session vape, you just need to turn it off in between hits. Having said that a friend liked my Inhalater, but didn't like that he couldn't just turn it on, have a draw, and shut it off. I'm really looking forward to the GH for that. I have enough session vapes to last me a few days...
