I like the bell curve we got going on.

On the subject of growing up in previous eras: I think I would rather grow up with the current generation. It seems people are getting more and more accepting of people's differences. And the Internet? On demand TV with no commercials and porn for days. I'm sure it has other cool things but those 2 alone would make puberty go smoother. The only downside I can see is too much social media. Growing up is tough, I can't imagine doing it with the backdrop of the constant interconnected world of Facebook and the like.

I'm often grateful that I didn't grow up during these times.

Not too far from 30 now myself! Wow, I knew we had an older average age around these parts than other places I have haunted online in the past, but there are many more well-seasoned (dabbing pun intended) FCer's about than I thought!

By the way mods, I know we aren't supposed to comment on your decisions, but that note on the main FC page about finding out if anyone is older than Lwien is cheeky! :p lol

20 here. :D I've gotta say, it's kinda weird coming from a community like Grasscity where (I assume) the majority of people are my age and younger - smoking weed in parents' houses and trying not to get caught is a common theme - to FC where the great majority of posts are well-thought and intended to shed light.

Thanks y'all! :) It's nice to be assured stoners aren't burn-out, smoke-from-a-water-bottle-with-a-piece-of-hose-and-tinfoil-bowl types. :p

Also - how great is old people music? XD I'm standing with the elders of FC (sorry, guys, I promise I won't use too many more synonyms for old) in appreciating music from years past. The vast majority of music that's coming out these days (and some of the tech that comes with them - ugh, Apple/iTunes/iPhone3251S) is difficult to sift through - you've gotta really look now to find the good stuff.

Which - Thundercat. Great eclectic jazzy bassist who creates spacey electronica music. Listen to Them Changes for a taste of olden-day soul and a brief overview of his style up to this point.

>.> This turned into a thing real quick - sorry, guys. Walkin' on Air. :p

I don't think this has been done before.

So...............how old are you?

Just trying to get a demographic make-up of who we are with this poll.

It has been done before. The thread was called What's The Average Age Around Here?

I'm probably the oldest guy on this site, but I have to admit that I do act like a child at times.

But yeah, I agree that the average age here seems to be a lot older than other sites that deal with cannabis.

Almost 25 here. I also love the older and mature crowd here at FC :myday:Age is wisdom!

I can't wait to grow old on this site haha.

I don't join the other sites because of the immature members. So much knowledge here and much more still for me to learn. Why go anywhere else?

I have learned more from this one site then all other sites combined

Keep up the great work FC

While I'm 62, I feel I have learned so much from this community: old dogs can learn new tricks. When I meet up with people now, I feel like "Vincent Vapor-Head", spreading the Good News about all the different ways one can vaporize (and accessorize).

 Like when someone's ripping a bong hard and you just have to say, "A UD would do that job better."

Ahh.............my name up in lights.

Repeating one's self must be a sign of old age, eh? Been happenin' a bit more lately.

And I see someone else in my age bracket in that poll. What I want to know is......WHO ARE YOU ????

But I like it!
I started MMJ 2 years ago when I was 50. Prior to that the last time I used was in the 70s in high school. FC has saved me from a bunch of bad decisions, and pointed me towards some stellar choices in vapes! I'm learning so much from the members in here regarding everything including concentrates, cooking, storage, new ways to try things - it's all great fun with reasonable, intelligent, and even sometimes cogent people!

I was driving a few weeks ago and Aerosmith 'Walk this way' came on, and I realized that I had that album, and the 8track, and the cassette, and maybe the CD, although with a bunch of travel and work moving over the years I was an early adopter of digitization and wound up with a huge swack of MP3s.

Just curious what you consider "old people" music? Beatles/Kinks era, Michael Jackson/Police era, steve wonder/eagles, pogues/pink floyd. I actually have no idea of popular music for several decades. I didn't know where to find interesting music. I think I started again in the 90s

Coming from someone who grew up during a wonderful era in music. The day when you could actually hear the real guitars, drums and the real vocalist's real voice not a computerized distortion.

There is still some good stuff being churned, I stumble across some gems but some real crap too.

i am so glad the schools in our area don't have the DARE programs any longer. Tell the friendly police officer that your parents use pot.

I was drawn to FC because it wasn't just a stoner community, there's a lot of really brillant folks with some very intelligent things to add to a discussion.

People that want to improve and live better lives.
