@underdogette had told me my dog was a little grouchy and had a hot temper so they included an extra 6' leash to control the beast.
I like a strong vapor so I just plugged my dog onto its 12' leash and let it heat up overnight. I 1st tried the 14mm gong and got a really big thick hit. It tasted pretty roasty toasty but nothing to complain about. I tried the 18mm Nong next, it was hitting great till about halfway through and all of a sudden it got really thick and white!!! Bamn f-in combustion..... Eeeewww nasty stuff
Freaking should've listened to the dog breeders and kept it on a long leash!! After coughing like crazy and I added the extra 6' extension cleaned the bong and tried again about 15 minutes later and this time it was waaaayyy better no combustion and s nice big flavorful hit.
I revisited the gong and much better flavor this time around no roasty toastyness just sweet cannabis!!! I will get a dimmer at some point just so I can take lower temp hits if I want to.
Bottom line if @underdogette tells you the included an extra leash to tame your dog try it with the extra section first!!
I got in on the 710 special so I also scored on a mini pup. I of course had to give it a go!!
I un-plugged the dog, plugged in the pup, on the 12' cord, prepped some herbage and loaded the Nong. I felt the heater top and ouch it was hot in about 5 minutes!! Stuck the pup on the bong took a rip and immediately realized I was drawing to hard and over powering the heater. I slowed my draw down and finished the hit. Not much of a cloud but great was flavor. I finished the load but didn't get much visible vapor.
I had to try again for science and shit so I loaded a freshie heat soaked for 30seconds and hit it slowly. Better this time but still not like the big dog!!
Tried a couple more loads with same results and figured I'd just use the pup when I wanted more flavorful hit than hard biting hits of the dog!
After sitting here vaked it came to me!!! Use the 6' leash for the pup!! It freaking worked!! The pup packs a mean bite when on the shorty leash, almost as strong as the BIG dog. Hits me like
Rock on dog pound!! Glad to be part of the family and have my own pack forming!!

Lol, yeah, the 6' leash is the standard that we send out with all vapes. The 15' one is the extra. I'm glad that it's working for you and you got it all sorted out! Beautiful pair you got there. And the dimmer is a nice touch for lower temps, or aromatherapy. Can't beat that for a couple bucks!

Lol Now I know why the pup wasn't working so well at first!! I can only imagine how hot the big dog would run on the shorty leash!! Don't think I'll ever try to find out either, no reason to!
These are quite a bit more expensive once you add some quality batteries but lots of people have had good success with them (including us) and they will provide better run time as well. Battery Pack on

Should I buy additional jack adapter for this device or it fits with MiniDog jack?
The battery pack should come with everything needed to plug into an UD, including a mini. The mini uses the same plug as the standard UD.

It's surprisingly small, I know it's touted as the size of a shot glass, but you really have to see it to believe it! MFLB or Vapman size small.
I also love that fresh new wooden smell

So after playing around with the dogs this weekend I decided I need a vvps. I feel the pup could be a little hotter and the big dog needs to be a little cooler.
Is the battery pack from eBay capable of working as a pass through vvps or only works off of batteries? If not is there one that does? I thought I saw someone post about a battery pack vvps that worked as a pass through too, maybe a vk, but I'm not sure.
Just to be sure if I use vvps I would not need a dimmer? Vvps lets you go higher or lower and the dimmer is only to go lower?

I know it's been a long time since I last posted. The last few months have been taken up by my move from Chicago to Colorado. Sold just about everything I had, including my PUP, just to get here. Now that I have a place and will be starting work soon, I look forward to being able to afford to buy a new dog!

Well, I had a really crappy day at work. But when I came home and found a special package waiting for me, I couldn't help but smile.
. What a way to end a bad day, to come home and find a new pup for me to adopt. A total ray of Sunshine! Thanks @underdog and @underdogette for an awesome prize for my silly poem. This brings my Dog Pound up to 6!

Woke up and found this beautiful olive wood lost dog in the mail...about to finally sit down and do some serious bonding!!
Pretty sure they don't pass thru. Haven't seen one that does, but I could be wrong. Correct on not needing a dimmer with a vvps. Hope this helps and

No need for a dimmer with a VVPS imo, just turn the voltage down. You could add one, but I'd think it would more or less just act the same as with the wallwart....IE: The heat of my VVPS pumping 12 into my Underdog will be hotter then my VVPS + dimmer pumping 12 into my Underdog. The amount of heat of the VVPS + Dimmer at 12 would probably be equivalent to the VVPS without the dimmer at like 11.9,8,7 (whatever the dimmer lowers it by). If that makes sense, little buzzed off the new toy

I like this style core too, not just in it's quick heat up time, but also in the aesthetics...not sure if this is what constitutes the bullet design, but the lip on the top of mine is angled just a bit, rather then on my adult dog which is just a flat top, or maybe cause the wood is thinner that is what gives the top a slight angle. Whatever the case is, I like the core being so open with the way the top is styled, looks really clean/nice.
I am bumping my voltage up to 12.5-12.7, I am just a lung buster hitter by nature and I find that any beast just needs a little extra juice to keep it pumping when I'm utilizing it. Actually, in writing this, 12.6 is the sweet spot for me little too dark with the 12.7.
Works fantastic with both my Nylon stem and my Ed's stem.
Did I mention that new wood smell, ahh like a new car <3

You definitely don't want to combine a VVPS with a dimmer, it's one or the other with the VVPS being the 'better' solution.

I wasn't home yesterday but i just got home now and received my package from the poem contest. Thank you guys so much I really appreciate the gift. @underdogette and @underdog you guys r awesome can't say thanks enough. I think I may pass this mini to a friend and spread the ud love.

The poems were awesome to read too and I suspect they'll generate smiles from the people who encounter them on the website in the future.
Since quite a few people have asked we do have a handful of minis left (all walnut I believe) for sale but after they're gone they might not be available again (or if they are maybe not soon) so pick one up if that matters to you.
Also, there has been some confusion regarding the Econo-Dogs so I wanted to try and clarify things a bit.
Please do spread the love with your mini if that's what you'd like to do.. just be sure anyone you give it to is either an experienced UD'er or understands it's limitations on run-time, lifespan, etc.
