How Many Vaporizers Do You Own and Why?

At the moment I own just two: The Lotus and Da Buddha.

The Lotus gets the most use because of its efficiency, portableness, and the ability to put it down between hits. Then if I really want a chill time with no coughing, hook the lotus up to water . Hands down my favorite vape.

Da buddha on the other hand is for when im feeling lazy and want easy mode vapor. It makes sharing in group sessions easy with people new to vaping. Its role is to impress people and for when im trying to get super medicated or dont feel like dealing with manual operation. Also for pushing my herb to the limits with consistent higher temperatures.

I think these two compliment eachother quite nicely and VAS has been cured at the moment as most of my situational needs are fufilled. However there is still temptation with the more portable options(flowermate/MFLB) and hyped units [I'm looking at you vapman/enano ;) ]. Perhaps VAS is never cured..

Look at my site for a list of those I have owned. But today it sits around 15 or so, including portables and beta units. I just reorganized my vape station and put out everything so that I might use it all. From memory there is a UD Twig, Pod, Herbie, 2 MV's, Evo, VHW, HA, Crafty, Air, Solo, Okin, Zion and a couple of pens. The VB2.0 is on the way and will look really nice there!

As to the thread title and asking 'why?', I can only say I have a problem!

I have gone over what vapes I have but not the why, as far as my daily drivers go. I am quite satisfied with my plug-in units at this point, and unless I let out my inner log fetish it's just maintenance on that side.

My two daily drivers are my infinity and my sublimator, and they are both pretty unique. I like the sub during the daytime, I use it dry with the og launchtube so it's quite efficient. I have modified both the launchtube and the controller box because of shortcomings, and feel like this setup will last for years now.

My infinity is unique mainly because it's a prototype that never went into production. This is unfortunate because it's the best vape (for my needs) I have ever used and I have used a few in my time. I hope it lasts forever and I never break it again (It's all glass, and I already broke it once; the maker fixed it for free then dropped off planet earth. I hope he comes back!). I like the infinity so much because of the huge flower one-hits that it offers; the only other ways I have been able to get a hit like this is when I use my sub through water or blow up a balloon. It's also quite easy to maintain, as it's all glass and uses a flat screen.

I think I prefer huge flower hits for a few reasons; I have a combustion background, specifically bongloads; I grow my own, so while my plants turn out pretty good I'm not a "pro" and may not be fully maximizing my strains' potential; and finally I have a high tolerance and no access to concentrates so this is what I do. Medically I have structural, systemic and anxiety nails, so I need a huge thc hammer to pound them with!

So many...
Do doubles count?

LSV (x2)- Active rotation
Sublimator - Active rotation
Solo - Active rotation
Supreme v2 - Active rotation
(If my Ti Nail for dabs counts then that would be in active rotation too :))
Persei w/ Herc-SR74 - Semi-active rotation

Underdog (x2) - Basically Retired - I have 2 because I bought one and it had a faulty power port. Dave was nice enough to just send me out a replacement for free instead of having to send the original in.
But I liked the shape of the faulty one more, and I just never really used them much...
Hot Pod - Basically Retired - It works like a champ, I think I've broken all my WPAs for it though...
WychWood - Basically Retired - Same comments as the hot pod - I've found I need to run most of my logs at around 14v.
It kinda removed the always plugged in and ready appeal of logs when I was always having to have a VVPS plugged in...
SSV - Basically Retired - It was my first proper vape after one of those shit hotplate dome ones. I doubt I'll ever sell it :)
Gn0me - Forced Retirement - I broke it's heat exchanger - I've been trying to arrange a replacement for some time now...

Minicron - on loan to a friend to use as an ecig

EQ - Retired - I got it to try bags
Thermovape T1 - Retired - I heard good things about it, probably gave it 5 bowls before i decided it just wasn't my thing...
Vaporstar - Retired - I've left this at a friends house as my emergency "Fuck I forgot my vape and there's no way in hell I'm combusting" vape
Vapor Genie SS Bat - Retired - Could never get a nice hit out of it...

I'm still hanging on to a dead EVO and a dead Fakexhale

So that's 15, 17 if you count doubles or dead ones, 19 if you count doubles and dead ones
(+1 to those if you count the nail )

EDIT:
Because @Puffers reminded me, I have a grasshopper ordered too :)
I'm hoping it'll mostly replace my solo :)

Too many vapes see too little usage but I am a vape hoar....... Erm collector.

Most active- basically all the real heavy hitters are active in my line up with the movingui log and lotus seeing the most usage.

Movingui wood log- quick heat up and packs a wallop
Lotus- Normally dry but sometimes use WPA
Evo- weekend/ vape for company. Set it and forget it no instructions on draw speed and heat appliction, etc
Custom oil coil on a variable wattage ecig mod-majority of my oil is consumed this way, usually used on the go.
Ti Nail- if this counts.

Semi-Retired
Flowermate-never used it a whole lot but comes out on occasion
Imag- used more then the flowermate for testing and feedback to manufacturer but doesnt see much use either.
Underdog air core beta- comes out to switch things up but not as often as it should.
MFLB- rarely ever comes out maybe once a year but I enjoy breaking it out for nostalgia purposes. This was first vape and what I used to FC

Fully retired-
SSV-the aroma top gets used for things (aromatherapy, warming salves, tinc evap, etc) but haven't vaped with it in a while.
Persei- always seemed to need more parts and accessories to really work well. Still considering getting a Herc at some point but
No name oil pen- bought from a dispensary what a joke. This thing never worked right and was basically an ecig tank stuffed with oil. Broken now iirc.

Purchases in the near future-
Grasshopper- hopefully a better herb vape for on the go usage. When I need discretion that the lotus can't provide.
Okin- because I am captivated by its beauty.

I think that's all of them..... But I may have left out one or two....

PS: Don't show my wife this list  she already thinks I am :mental:

My name is Blackbur and this is my first VAS meeting..

1 MFLB +pa
1 SupremeVaporizer
1Vriptech heatwand
1Zephyr ion
1herbalizer
1vapexhale evo
2 arizr solos
1 arizr air
2 elevape smart vaporizers
1crafty
1hipvap
1indica

I've been vaping for a couple years, each unit gives me a different experience.
Also each unit has its own pre vape ritual aka prep.
Some days I want a quick and light session so I'll grab a portable.. Other days I'll grab a desktop for something heavier.
I try not to use the supreme that much because its a relic..I wish they were still in production.
As for the doubles..if I find a good deal that I know will never happen again I jump on it.

In order of use:

Daily Drivers: Underdog with VVPS, Mighty

Underdog when I have time to relax, Mighty if I'm in a rush.

Semi Retired: Vapman

I use this on occasions where I need a butane vape. As well as what others said and in the morning when I wake up, basically when I want to be engaged in the experience and not in any rush

All but retired: Lotus, Firefly

Limited usage for Firefly, although I still like it, just haven't used it since I've had the Mighty. Lotus I stopped using as much when I got my VVPS, but its a nice "novelty" vape and I like showing it off to friends.

Retired: MFLB, PAX.

My MFLB batteries are shot, I bought new ones and they work, and the unit still works, just have no use for it. Not selling it soley because it's my first vape I bought for myself in 09.

PAX I got discounted and didn't need and didn't enjoy so I sold it.

I also have a Dr. Dabber Concentrate Pen, which can be considered in rotation I guess? I rarely ever use it, except when extreme discreteness is involved. For instance, I did extra work a few weeks back and I used it all night....prior to then, hadn't used in a few weeks, hadn't used since that time either.

Ummm I may have a problem!!

LSV, Haze v2.5, Solo, UD and mini, plus a shitty vg clone I bought in Venice beach as I didn't have a portable with me and ended up with some herb. All this is in less than 3 months!!

I just found out my best friend from childhood bought a headshop/cig store and said he would hook me up at his cost!!! I maybe in real trouble now!! I really want a good butane vape but I must respect the VAS and tame it back for a while!!

As for why VAS!!!

I kept telling myself I just need a core four vaporizer line up. I'm up to 6 in rotation at the moment.. and no end in sight!!!

I'll list in order my vapes and there role.

Before I found FC ( 2010 era)
1.Vapor Bothers coffee color hands free box. I bought it because I had used a similar unit that a friend had I don't remember what kind he had, but it definitely worked. I also just quit smoking cigarettes, so I wanted to give the gift of health to myself. I later ended up donating this to the pay it forward.

After finding FC. ( early 2014)
2.Pinnacle Pro. I got it as a portable stealth vape so I could start my journey to fuck combustion. Ended up selling on ebay a few months back. But the pnp treated me very well in its time.

3. The Hammer. It was a half off 420 sale and I was interested in exploring the butane vaporizer for outdoor activities. Sold this to a friend who wanted to vape.

4. Walnut basic Vapman. This was an impulse buy out of complete curiosity. I can probably say this is my favorite vape to use all around.

5. The hammer pro. Since I sold my hammer to my buddy I wanted to get the pro with a lifetime warranty. Got this vape right before Xmas from the indigogo campaign.

6. Buckeye Burl Under Dog. This is my first log so I want for the show stopper and got a beautiful custom dog with a few matching stems thanks to ed, snappo, and UD.

7. Haze v2.5. This was bought on another 420 sale and was going to replace the pnp as the stealth vape.

8. & 9. Chinese pistache mini UD. I bought this after I used my girlfriend's walnut mini I got for her. Since her mini stayed at her place my mini was a travel dog.

10. Arizer Extreme Q. I didn't expect to buy this but an opportunity arose that I couldn't pass up. ($25 and an old combustion bubbler) The eq is basically my vape tool that packs a huge punch. I love to just experiment with this vape.

Thats where I'm at now. I can't stop thinking about triihouse peace, getting on the Hi waiting list, and scoring a second exotic vapman. So the VAS continues...

I never expected to have more than 3 or 4 but I have double that right now in the rotation. So I guess options keep things fresh. I suspect I will come to a halt soon as me and my girlfriend have some adult moves to plan for in the future. My excuse to her is one day I want to sell vapes and need to know what ones r great from first hand experience haha.

I really like reading this thread @Irwin thanks. Its fun to hear who has disicipline to understand what they need vs want and who just loves vaporizers and continue to try new ones. Thanks to everyone that contributes.

I guess my signature will tell you all you need to know but I like the format of this thread.

Vapes I still own 3-5 are DD
1. Arizer Extreme V Tower-I don't use it, was never big on it. I have an older model and I really hate silicone tubing for one.
2. V2 Pro 3 Don't use it anymore, has a big E liquid tank so I might use it for that if I ever get any (doubtful).
3. Haze V3 First vape I really LOVE. Use it all the time, I guess I only wish it had a plug in accessory. It's quality and does things no other vape does.
4. Underdog Apricot Standard Core. A tank that uses very little material, I love the look and feel. It's like having a little lighter almost that you hold to your stem, very fun and neat. I use it a lot
5. The VapeXhale Evo. WOW! Now this is just amazing. Don't pause, just get one. I love the results and ease of use.
6. The Storm. A very nice mini vaporizer, slightly too big to be called a pen really, this is probably the most stealth device I have. Some nice accessories, and it delivers nice flavor and consistency for it's price point
7. Dabstorm. Pretty much the same remarks can be said of the wax version of the Storm, except it is more a pen in size.

On the way for the Holidays MFLB with 2.0 PA and Vapman classic.

I have 3, Extreme Q, Solo and E-nano. i purchased them in that order, the Q in 2013, the solo at the end of 2014 and the nano about 6 weeks ago.

I bought them all with the intention of cutting down smoking, but i failed until recently, the Q received sporadic use and the solo i used about 10 times in he first year i owned it.

Then earlier this year my friend had a heart attack and lay in bed for 6 hours before he got help(typical man thing to do!), the doctor said he should have died, this gave me the final push to stop smoking.

Now the nano is my daily driver and i love it, the solo is getting much more use (it comes to work with me with 2 full stems, some days i get chance to use it, most days i don't) and the Q is getting used again for bigger bowls or when friends come round. I wish i had made the change much earlier.

I like all my vapes for different reasons and think i have every base covered, but i have been enviously eyeing up the cloud evo, i just cant justify it to myself at the moment though. I might just wait till the next big thing for my next one.

I too have an addiction. These are not in any particular order, as my preferences rotate as often as my arsenal.

-2 underdog vapes. A full and a mini.
-1 davinci ascent - replaced several times.
-1 flowermate mini
-2 flowermate 5.0
-2 flowermate 5.0s
-2 flowermate 8.0 - these were kinda doomed from the start. I was looking to donate them once someone has a program set up.
-1 flowermate 5.0 pro (always been a solid cape for me, and really good for the price!)
- 1 haze V3. I have owned every version of the Haze and will continue to be a lifelong customer. Great service, great product.
- 1 cloud EVO. Purchased used. Really enjoy it. Sometimes am uncertain with the flavor but no cracks in my bamboo.
- 1 herbalizer. I really go back and forth with the Herbie due to inconsistent cloud production, but it blows bags and does work very efficiently.

I don't know why I own so many. I just kinda jumped into vaping feet-first and love experiencing what each cape can offer.

My girlfriend hates it. She would much prefer if we just stuck with one vape. And she really doesn't like to fiddle with technique much. However, I love it when I get her a nice solid hit off a new vape and she looks at me with complete surprise.

She also hates my glass collection, which is relatively small compared to my vapes.

Before I knew of Fuck Combustion I was enamored by a Pax I used at a party. Had to have one. Bought it and loved it for a long time, but then it stopped heating and had to go back. Emergency purchase at the local head shop was my VaporGenie original which actually became my go to home vape. Got a Solo recently and that has been my new main vape. I still have the Pax and VG and use them occasionally but the efficiency combined with the flavor has me hooked to the Solo for now. I am currently just waiting on Christmas to be over so I can make sure my finds are in check and I plan on buying a Vapman for another butane vape, and undecided on a desktop/plug in. Leading the pack there is the LSV but also might be the EQ. Who knows. The Vapman is for sure and if I know myself I will have to have the Station 1 for it as well.

VAS and GAS are both infecting me pretty hard these days.

Came to read about grinders; fucked combustion
Aromed
Arizer Air

In the last few days I have figured out how to make my Aromed work how I need it to work, with the aid of only flour and water. Using a very simple dough, I have made reusable risers that place my screen and herbs a little closer (or considerably closer) to the heat source, which affects my vaping temperature and conditions profoundly.

I have pretty much concluded that my Aromed is defective (doesn't seem to come within 100°F of displayed temperature when used normally), but now I know how to make it operate at temperatures just below (or above) combustion. Changed everything.
