Alright folks... perhaps I need to make this a little clearer.

If I am asking shadymilkman to stop... that means the rest of you need to too. Continuing to quote him and bait him into argument is going to earn you points too. And God knows there's nothing I like better than a good whipping on a Friday evening.... :whip:

Was I the only one who noticed that the tip of the vape was again reported as getting a bit hot? Last time it was from a lot of hits shared between two people. This time it was from the 'medium' 3 of 5 setting.

I also addressed this before - Maybe too little load given too many draws and too much heat. Herb absorbs heat, as will the chamber, all of which are drawn towards the tip; less herb, more chamber conduction and tip heat. USER ERROR!!!

Nail a GH to a cross why don't we!

@shadymilkman while I can appreciate the fact that you want all of our members to keep an open mind, I would ask you to do the same....

Our members have a reputation for questioning vape manufacturers. And if they see something that looks troublesome, they will address it. I haven't seen any evidence of an agenda by any of them; certainly not one of negativity towards the Grasshopper product itself.

Any more of your accusations will be considered trolling and earn you a warning point.

There's context.

Regardless I have to agree with one flaw that is pervasive so far which are the comments on the front end cap getting hot, however it appears usage dependent. It must be doing its job because there are less comments on the vapor temp.

Hey, regardless of the production values of Reddit user Marco97's video, I'd like to give him a shout out for being so prompt in providing an initial impression video. Let's not crucify those willing to share their experiences with us even if some are more detailed than others. At this early stage, I think the more videos and comments from early recipients, the better in developing a better understanding of the GH and of the consistency of the manufacturing/assembly process at HL. Don't want to scare off others who may be hesitant in sharing on this or other forums. Just my 2 cents.

Don't think anyone here crucified Marco97 at all - only took into account what he shared and hypothesized from there. I, for one, deeply appreciate and welcome all reviewers for sharing their experiences.

could just be the crappy vid quality? #hopeful
I was going to say this plus a lack of lighting.
Why the hell are you guys bitching about some crappy youtube video??? I can't see shit in that video aside from some shaky hand holding some ABV (Seriously, he couldn't have dumped it onto a piece of paper - ANY white surface would have been better than his hand held up to the camera). Hell the dark bits could simply be shadows from that horrible lighting.

We didn't see him hit the vape, nor did we see the size of the clouds he pulled from the vape. For all we know he could have swapped some ABV from another vape (doubtful, but still).

RABBLE RABBLE RABBLE!
So this.

I believe it has been noted by at least 1 with the gh that the heat from the unit on the mp seems hot at first but after some use you tend to get used to it and what seemed on the verge of "no more for a bit" eventually becomes "not too hot"

like going in the shower but you had it too hot so u turn it down a little to get in and crank it up slowly and end up hotter than that first setting yet it seems nice and warm

Possibly a similar thing I experience with my lsv;
It gets pretty hot, sometimes I'll pick it up and reflexively put it back down because it's pretty damn hot...
But it's always been able to be held safely in my hands, never any chance of burning or anything, just unexpected discomfort from more heat than was expected?

I've said from the beginning for myself at or above a 3 I need the silicon tip. With the tip any temp is usuable. If your using it alot the whole unit does get fairly hot. That's only with really heavy use like 3 bowls back to back type situation. Non stop

Honestly that's fine, even the Pax burns me occasionally on high heat. If I am doing a session, its usually at home(So tip wont be funny looking to others outside), as long as I can take a quick rip of two while out without the silicone tip I will be pleased, that is if it vapes even....

And the temp issue keeps me on the fence about switching to a ti (or ordering a 2nd gh).

You can definately get by with just a few and put them away and not be worried with the tip. But it may get all be warm for some people on their lips above 3. I just shoot video of my friends first impressions and he used it no tip on 3 fit a couple draws before going to try the water. He said it only got warm. I'll post the 5 minute video soon. I'm terrible at editing it was shot in 4k but exported 720. I am shooting 1080 or 4k usually but I can't ever expert at full res for some reason.

Here are some Instagram clips of it.

Sorry edited! No problem! I know people are tired of videos but my friend asked me about it and I had one so I figured I would record him.

I think people are just sick of the unboxing and first impression vids... We get it, it's a metal pen, show us clouds! Or at least that's how I feel. So thanks for posting it up!

I definitely appreciate cloud vids like yours still, always happy when evidence of whitewalling a piece is up! I'm just happy your friend didn't say "incredible build quality" I think we've heard that 100 times
