It did land on the upper corner! I know as there is a slight scuff there. Seems to be working fine though... I'm lucky there was no damage to the mouthpiece.

OK guys. I tried searching, but keep coming up with a ton of confusing results. I am looking to add some glass to enhance the Mighty. The problem is, where do I start? I looked at the Delta 3D Studios for an attachment and the D021 for glass. Delta has 16mm and 18mm adapters, while the D021 glass looks like it needs an 18.8mm adapter (assuming I am looking at this correctly).

Basically, I want your input. What do you you use? Feel free to share links. I am not comitting to any one brand in particular, I just want to take my Mighty to the next level. (I'll take the same advice from those who have an Herbalizer too.)

Thanks in advance!!

So it looks like there are FAKE, poorly functioning mightys on the market already!!!
Maybe craftys soon?

See storz and bickel official facebook.
They tell you how to identify if your mighty is a fake.

I have taken snapshots for you to see if yours is fake or real.

I think any time someone complains about a poorly functioning or failing mighty they should check this post first to ensure it is legit first.

How do you use your Mighty?
I've been enjoying half filled chambers with herb on bottom with some concentrate sandwiched under the liquid pad.
I know it is a pretty technique-free vape- just curious how different people prefer to use theirs.

Sounds like someone has been Mightyhigh:razz:.
I usually do half bowls or full bowls if my GF is joining with a coarse screen on top to hold it down.

Hey guys just wanted to report back on my first day with the Mighty. By luck I finally run into two good strains at once! I ran 3.5 grams of some god damn amazingggg purple and 1 gram of some sour at around 3 am today to finish off. So far I have done 4.5 grams in the mighty and the bowl looks brand new... I'm pretty sure I've never owned a vape that I can use 4.5 grams in and not have to clean it, unless I am extremely high right now and I don't know what I'm talking about. It was great in a group of 3 at one point in my Mighty day on a full charge we grinded up 2 grams and did about 5-6 bowls [packed] and it knocked us off our socked and we had some left over. I always clean my bowl when it's piping hot and the flowers just fly out the mighty's bowl perfectly. I know it's been reported a lot but yes it does fully cook your flowers good.

Read some people recommending removing the screen the mighty comes installed with and replacing it with the finer one you get in the box. Is that for keeping the cooling chamber more debris free or does it alter the vapor taste/effects?

Good to hear , you're enjoying the Mighty .
Can you report back on , how much resin has
collected in your CU from aprox. 4.5 g usage
in one long session ?

re ; counterfeits
I can't fathom how they couldn't duplicate
1. blue o-ring
2. apply fake serial # on box
3. orange plastic grinder
4. wooden brush ...etc
and even a 3D logo .

Having said that , I better get mine from an Authorized
dealer asap , before they do make those fake changes ...

The smallest details are what make a product unique. Pay attention to the details! I bought mine from Storz so no worries! And for those who got fake ones, you get what you pay for!! A Fiero was not a Ferrari! Just a cheaper car with a similar name! The fake Mightys are Mightys too! They just have a ghost label next to the word Mighty. If you look at it with a Blacklight it'll say MIGHTY WEAK!!

Do you put a screen over your herb in the chamber? First time I have seen that.

Does it cut down on herb getting into the cooling unit better than the screen on the unit?
This is a pic of my mighty sn 00500.
It's still working well.
There is one more small piece of plastic that will break off soon.
I will send it in maybe around the 1 year mark latest , Unless it gets unusable. My back up is pax2 and I don't want to live with only that for 2 weeks ;)

*this goes with above post (Modnote: posts merged)

lol. stupid S&Bers. The top fins are directly connected to the latch of the heating chamber.

RCFLjmK.jpg

On this pic you can see the start of the cracking. The left side which is still intact, is connected to the fin. If one breaks, the other will follow.

Here's another one. You can clearly see how it all is connected.

Yes I do have a coarse screen on top of my load here. I am back to using a partial cleanly torn apart oil pad on top now.

I'd have to agree with @poonman...while small details can define a product, I don't think that the Chinese were scratching their heads trying to figure out how to make a orange grinder or a blue O ring, ect...

Also people didn't get what they 'paid for' because they were paying for a mighty, not a knockoff.
People willingly buy Fieros, it would be different if you went to a Ferrari dealer, paid for a Ferrari and got a Fiero with Ferrari stickers...think about it...people were trying to return the fakes to Storz and Bickel

Storz and Bickel should have kept all the details of the fakes secret, they just gave China a report card on their fakes and I'm sure their next rounds will be even more convincing

Standard ground glass connections are 14mm and 18.8 mm. The Delta adapters are 14 mm and 18.8 (often 18.8 is just abbreviated as 18). The Mighty can handle a pretty wide variety of glass pretty well. I have not tried a D021,so I can't comment in that one. The D020, FC-187 are one that I have tried and they work well. If you like whips and less diffusion, the Magic Flgiht Orbiter is another decent choice (that one has 14mm joints).

Is the err message permanently displayed? I know I got it a few times on my unit and it went away after a few minutes...when I sent it in for service they gave it a firmware update and sent me back the SAME unit

Mine would get the err message when I made it drop about 20 Degrees with a hit from a higher temp (around 390+)
This would mostly occur when using it with a water pipe...the err message in its self isn't a 'biggie'

Now the sending it to S&B part...it depends on what you want
When I sent mine in, I was under the impression I would get a new unit (with new batteries, reinforced housing, performance boosts, ect...)

Instead I got back the same unit, (repaired) but same housing and a firmware update...

...fuck the firmware update! (Alone I should say, maybe the other new features would make it worthwhile)
It did make it vibrate more reliably and extend the auto shutoff to two minutes, but it greatly decreased my battery life (six or 8 sessions per charge vs about 12 before)
I contacted S&B about this concern and have had zero help, other than 'battery performance decreases with use' but it shouldn't have happened that rapidly ONLY AFTER the update.

Turn around time was fast, make sure you ask for a label to get a free one. So take the gamble if you will, but if I was going to send mine in again I would make certain I am getting the latest version of the mighty all around.

Unfortunately ol' storz and co. don't make it easy :2c:

Ive seen how they treat their customers different, no bueno imo. The impression i get, is as long as I request the most updated version, they will ship it to me. I appreciate all of the help, meens a lot.

That's the thing...I REQUESTED the latest version and was assured I would get the latest housing (because the err message is corrected by a FW update not a vape swap anymore or in my case, who knows.) and when I got my unit with the same housing, they acted ignorant to the existence of any new housing. But I sent mine to the USA location...maybe the Germany repair center is better about their shit.
