Cheap High Quality Bubbler

I bought this D022 Bubbler that I was going to use with my Enano. I thought I was getting the 18mm for a GonG attachment. I have the 18mm GonG for the Enano and as soon as I unboxed it I could tell the opening was way to big. I don't know a lot about Water Tools as I only have a couple other pieces.

I need some FCer to advise me. Help @ataxian if you are out there in FC land right now.
Just put on your bed clothes before you test ìt!
fill the water to the top of the slits on the perk and adjust from there!

There's a chance the mailman is bringing this today:
http://www.dhgate.com/product/bong-glass-recycler-2015-new-glass-bong-oil/240342920.html#ctabBox

Will post some impressions on this, I'm weary of this new Kathy0578 but she's the only one who has this very interesting design.

I've got a couple of questions. What happened to Steven's new Mobius Binary and Ball Rig? Those looked good. But I don't see them in the store.

Also, who makes the thickest, headiest dry hand pipes on DHGate? Most of the stuff I see are kind of thin. I uhh, have a friend, who likes to combust from time to time...

Edit:
I started searching and I had to share this:
http://www.dhgate.com/store/product/manufacturer-wholesale-double-bowl-rt-135/229001522.html

When lighting just one bowl isn't harsh enough, let's put another bowl even closer to the MP!:shrug::rofl:

I had a good experience with my kathy 057 bubblers I use for my SOLO and VAP2.
The D series from sunshine store have been great.
The FC186, FC187, FCUFO are larger in volume.
I use a NANO for more volume!

Was it Kathy0577 or Kathy0578? As another user noted, they are 2 different people, and 0578 is not affiliated with DK Globe as 0577 is. I've had pieces from 0577 before with no issues, but I'm worried when the formula for choosing a user name is establishedSellerID++

Anyone see Kathy's new pieces?

Looks like he damn near get's a drink mid-pull

I hope he's practicing to make one of the pieces seen in the first video on this page: Brandon P.

I really want Steven to make one of those and one of these bad boys, just with a female joint:

I keep asking about Stevens new mobius bit no one seems to know. Aren't there a few people here that are actually in contact with him. Can one of y'all ask what the hold up is with this piece. And tell him the weird mobius brace thing isn't necessary just put a normal brace in and be done with it. Thanks :)

Are you asking about the binary matrix? He had messaged me saying it would be available on the 14th of this month. I know its not but maybe it will be soon considering his shipping process speed -__-

It could be auctioned some how else. Go to his most recent Mobius Clear release on youtube. He posted a link to purchase it, but when you search for it in his store items its no where to be found. This could be the case with the binary matrix. Im not sure, but am somewhat curious as well

I actually just mean the way it exists on the d022, but with GonG connectors at both ends to make [the center unit] removable. The pic I supplied was just to illustrate that I mean it should attach via GonG joint on both ends.

So it would be modular (with the already genius removable main downstem) and you could add secondary percs as you see fit, or just skip them.
that design cant work as far as I can imagine though...

In order for that 2nd perc to be removable, it's essentially have to be a removable downstem.

Thats easy, but then how do you get vapor to the inlet of that downstem?
You'd need something flexible like a short section of whip...

Thats why I said AFAIK the only way for the percs to be removable is in something like the devastator...

Steve's new Combustion Bong!!
And it seems CCG have become direct thieves! How are you gonna be selling pieces you dont even have? It's obvious they dont have them otherwise they'd have videos of a highly recommended piece

All that said i want that
That looks horribly draggy...

And a massive WTF to an inverted showerhead that high in that sorta tube... :hmmm:

Just out right ugly
That thing looks and functions like garbage. It seems like he can barely pull at all or he's getting a drink. I guess maybe the water level is to blame, but water level can't cure what an ugly monstrosity that thing is.
 sure the function is pretty off ATM, but aesthetically if find it... Intriguing :)

The crazy percs can get a bit overwhelming, but at the end of the day, all we are trying to do is get vapor under water.
Keep that in mind and most pieces should end up making sense if you think about them :)

So yeah, in this case you insert the downstem (long tube) into the main piece, and attach your vape to that.
That will allow the vapor to travel down the stem and through the water in the piece :)

These use a middle piece that is GonG, imagine the d022 w/ the whole 2nd chamber removable. That's all, not the perc itself. That would be an even bigger hassle. It's honestly rad how it is, I'm just dreaming of a way to clean that middle part.

Those are essentially hydratubes, I have no idea how they relate to the D022...
Stacking bottom fed percs has been a thing in glass for ages. Not necessarily making them removable, but its basically just slapping a joint under the perc instead of a base...

The 2nd chamber of the d022 isn't bottom fed, it's top fed, so it's much more like a bubbler/ash catcher than a hydratube.

Imo that 2nd little chamber is stupid to begin with (from both a functional and aesthetic persective), but if I'm imagining what you're describing correctly, it still comes back to a variant of the devastator design.
Only with your design (as I picture it) the "base unit" is the mini/tumor perc and the "ash catcher" is the main can...

I'm probably not the best person to talk about it as I personally really dislike the whole back half of the D022...
It would be such a nice looking piece without that dumb mini perc IMO...

But yeah, if you want the 2 chambers to be separable, whether the percs are removable or not, that's basically the devastator design IMO...

@twentypast4 don't think anyone can comment on the donut yet. If I had to guess it may have better flavor but be harsher than the fc710. Might not be the case though as the 710 pretty much has the best flavor of any rig I have used. The 710 is basically my go to rig so you definitely won't be disappointed with it.
yeah, I think I'm going to go for the FC-710 first w/ a few accessories (3mm banger & dabber from hymanquartz, and dropdown from alina)
Stevens fc-mini v2 is up for order. Kinda makes me wish the Canadian dollar wasn't shitting the bed right now.

http://www.dhgate.com/product/advance-booking-2015-new-high-quality-glass/218128237.html
I've always liked the form factor but this one looks sharper and from the video looks to function better than the prev FC-Mini. I'll use this for my second order in case anything is up with the first Steven order I'm about to process.

Does anyone have any coupon codes? Not any $3 off $500 either lol.

Update, FC-710 is now my go to rig! I tried a few of my other favorites last night and for some reason the hits all taste stale compared to the FC-710. I am now a believer in the less volume of air the vapor has to travel through the better the flavor. Highly recommended!

Hearing that little ball dancing around while I take a rip is music to my ears , it truly is hypnotic....

Lol, I think the wart should be removable is what I'm saying. Basically that chamber is silly; but if it was modular, I wouldn't have to deal with it. And if I really wanted, I could try a different style of middle piece.
Edit: yeah, a bit like the devastator.

D022 is my main water tool, the wart you hate does have an important and specific function in my setup so to each their own. If anything I'd like the bottom of the arm perc sealed unless that increased drag. It's an underrated piece imo. But what do I know, I even really like Steven's V2 TorusKO Incycler. I'm a freak.

Shrug. I just think it looks tough to clean from the angles provided, which means I'll inevitably try something that results in breaking the piece.

This might be a stupid question but how does the smoke get from the joint to the showerhead in this bubbler

rBVaHVVrxFSAaJw1AATjb12x0GQ114.jpg

Not a stupid question, just a stupid design. That piece would perform like the craziest of crazy straws. The water would get sucked up the showerhead and into the neck and vapor would fill the bottom chamber until it reached the top of the showerhead's slits. All of the percolation would happen in the neck and you'd get drinks until the water was barely touching the showerhead most likely. I'd pass on that one.

Edit:
I'd say the "drinkware" text is probably pretty accurate.

@ataxian what does the little part do that makes this stand out for you? It just looks like a cleaning disaster waiting to happen is my complaint. I thought it looked like a decent piece overall, but that making it removable might extend the life of the piece. It would also make it so if you have a preference of perc, you could swap the 2nd chamber out for your preferred style. A pain to make, I'm sure.

Yeah, it certainly seems like the only thing keeping water out of your mouth would be luck.

Ì have different points of view I know.

I clean with pbw!
sometimes I steam clean.
sometimes baking soda and vinegar does the trick!

My glass collection is large however I break it often, however it's nice to keep rotating my pieces.

Clean ģlass is always more enjoyable!

Has anyone come across a decent Hamm Waterworks recycler clone?

THIS was posted earlier in the thread. If there's no better option and no one has ordered it, I will, for science. Definitely doesn't look as clean as Hamms though imo.

I'm a huge D022 fan. I don't find the second chamber gets dirty at all. Even with heavy use and little cleaning the vape poo just builds up in the main can.

The D022 and the FC-UFO V2 are probably the only pieces in my collection that I would immediately replace if they got broken.
