gotcha. At 4.8, I was definitely pulsing and got amazing results; instacloud. I think what killed it was that I had my core set for herc and thought it was set for the 1701.

I tried the 3rg gen dual coil KISS cart tonight @7.4v; Awesome. Back to the KISS mentality w/ the simpler design. Very tiny profile. It's thinner than my Omicron... does it match some other w9 product?

I did this with my 3.7 globe donut when they came out. So far I've only blown up 2 or 3 things this way. I wish the core had preset buttons and I could always make it start at 3.7 to help protect my gear from myself.

I'd be ok with it resetting to 3.7v on power cycle. Idiot proofing can irritate power-users, but since it's an oil vape, it's really more like stoner proofing -- many of us reapply enough throughout the day that our short term memory can rarely be trusted.

I've been using CO2 oil in my herc w good results but am now trying wax. Even for many pulls, the wax is very slowly melting but does not seem to ever melt enough to seep into the ti coil like co2 does. So the wax is mostly staying at the surface of the coil. Is this the way wax is supposed to work w the herc ?

Wax melts at a temperature little higher then c02, a little more heat is needed for it to melt in.

Just got my new sr-74x soaking it in ever clear right now super excited to try it out on my new core! I had trouble getting the gold center pin to come out even pressing with a tooth pick and also could not get the white insulators off so I just soaked it all together. Any tips on how to remove these or is it ok to leave them together when soaking and any tips on using the sr-74x on the core would be awesome! Should I load up about .6 is that right ?thanks Ben

Start by gradually loading about 0.2g. Let it soak in and saturate the coil. This will serve as your buffer and you don't want to vape past this point. Now you can load what you actually want to vape. I would suggest about 0.2-0.3g.

The trick to the Herc are the cool down hits. Think about how the design works. Right underneath the Ti coil that the oil you just loaded is sitting on are the air holes. When you heat up that oil it becomes more viscous, thinner. If it stays that thin for a long time it will drip down through the air holes into the reclaim chamber below. Start by trying to hit the Herc without the button engaged for as long as you just hit it with the button on. The air you draw through will cool down the oil and help it "re-solidify" so you'll be ready for the next hit.

This is also why you need to store it on its side when not in use. Some of the CO2 oils are so viscous at room temp that they'll just drain into the reclaim chamber if the Herc is sitting upright.

FINALLY I've got my Nibbler XL I've been lusting after for a minute - very clean looks and perfect lines... but seems a bit chuggy (and one-sided) with only one hole in the perc.

The W9Tech site shows the same in the picture, but I noticed @Bob_Loblaw's YouTube video showcased a Nibbler XL with four holes in the perc (more like the Nibbler X).

I thought the count of the hoily perc was three? At least according ("First shalt thou take out the Hoily Perc, then shalt thou count the holes of three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five holes is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Hoily Perc of Nibbler towards thy oil, who being danky in My sight, shall puff it.")

What say ye?

Edit: and got my second AC... Ya know, cuz I broke the glass of the first ;)

My kiss AC dual coil on my 8 vaporizer is heating up at low temp and the button is getting hot? I submitted a ticket.

The tiny white disc that covers the copper flathead screw won't come out? I tried tapping it but the white disc is stuck and I can not adjust the copper screw?

Grats on the XL! It's the only way to go with the Herc. Unfortunately the Nibbler XL and G that I have feature the single hole in the perc. @Bob_Loblaw must have had a prototype unit with more?

Enjoying my first session with the Bender right now. Still figuring things out. What voltage do you all usually set the Core to for the Bender? So far the flavor is out of this world but no visible vapor.
