I've already been informed, this will not be the case. Trevor sent me an email indicating the first half batch of backers will receive theirs by the end of July. The second half batch of backers are scheduled for early August.

Now, now. I'm sure in tonight's update (presuming there is one), we'll hear how manufacturing is scaling up, they were slowed down a bit by some problems early recipients had, but these are now under control and it's full speed ahead! Reviews and feedback from early recipients are fantastic, that they are working round the clock to get this great product into our hands. We'll be receiving our address confirmation emails in minutes/hours/days/weeks/months. And of course, they'll thank us for our patience and give us the mandatory attah boy for funding this glorious ride....
May have a missed a few platitudes....

The GH team must be starting to feel a little more confident. A few weeks ago there were maybe like 3 people getting order confirmations and receiving the unit. Within the last few days it seems like 10+ people have gotten order confirms. And I'm sure many more who aren't on FC or reddit.

How do you guys know your order number? All I know is that I put my early bird order on Nov. 14 2013.

It's the number on top of your invoice...but they said the number was meaningless as to your turn in line...

I wonder how many people don't realize Gmail switched to having a "Promotions" filter and that many have their GH emails go directly into it and may be hidden from them? I assume if GH doesn't hear back on the shipping address confirmation, maybe 5 days, that they'll go ahead and ship to whatever address is already on file for that customer.
I can see at least a few backers getting a big surprise in the mail they weren't expecting or completely forgot about.

After the address confirmation is sent out, order status changes to "processed" so that's another way to check on it.

I believe they've said they won't ship until you confirm. Presumably they don't want people complaining that it got shipped and their mom opened it, or the stoner at their old address is now enjoying a GH they didn't buy.

Well hopefully nobody changed emails in all this wait (or other disconnect mishap). More than a few along the way here didn't even know they could log into the website to view their order status.

Thanks for checking out the mid-July update. Shipping has been our main focus for the last 15 days and we are making good headway. We’ve ironed out some of the production kinks and are bringing on more staff to increase the assembly rate. It’s been a new challenge to design processes and tools to aid in efficient assembly but we are continuing to refine our techniques. Sometimes it’s hard to know whether to spend a day building Grasshoppers, or to spend that day building tools to make building Grasshoppers faster. Nevertheless, we are doing lots of both and things are accelerating.
Watch on IndiegogoWe’ve run into a small problem with the Stainless Case. We received our first batch of cases and were excited to start shipping those out, but a design error led to some small scratching on the Grasshoppers when they were placed inside. Although minor, we were not satisfied with that result and are modifying the cases to fix the problem. Orders with cases will not be delayed, and we will ship the case separately once the new batch comes in.
Now that shipping has started, we know everyone is more anxious than ever to get their Hoppers. The process is getting faster with every passing day, so keep an eye out for your address verification email.

Still making the tools this far in the game? Thought they were mainly focused at making the GH's themselves at this point and had that all figured out, well that explains the slow ship rate....I mean good headway....yeah that's it.
