I heard an interview with the author of this book on NPR today. Has anyone here read it? The book is advocating medical marijuana by a doctor who has researched it's medical effects. One thing he said surprised me. He referred to it as moderately addictive. Any info about this?

i get vaked and hit vongs is it so wrong?
agree with above. i dare say if they are mixing it with tobacco the withdraw would more higher and intense. I get home at 4.00 everyday from work when i don't do overtime but when i do overtime and it hits 4, I want my 4pm hit but I'm not sweating and having extreme withdraws like a opiate addict.

I heard a 3 hour interview with this guy on Coast to Coast AM the other night. He is a palliative care doctor so that means he deals only with super sick people and end of life stuff. He is pretty ignorant and passing himself off as some kinda expert. He never once mentioned the entourage effect that CBD and other cannabinoids and terpenes have on THC. You could tell he didn't even know about it. He mentioned different strains have different effects but didn't know why. His focus is on MMJ for the extremely sick and dying only. When he says he experimented on himself he did so only with means of ingestion he knew wouldn't work. So he tried cannabis beer, wine, and tea stuff like that. I had high hopes but was bitterly disappointed in his narrow scope and ignorance of the subject matter. I'm afraid he will not be of much help to us in our cause.
