A little over a month ago, my parent's house was flooded with 9' of water (the Blanco River Memorial Day flooding that happened in Texas). Everything in the house was ruined, including a Volcano and two Mighties . . . S&B called my mom yesterday, and said that the units were unrepairable. However, they were shipping out refurbished units back to them, all at no charge.
Now THAT is outstanding customer service . . . wow!!! Thanks for sharing the good news @Roth . . . :)

I am doing a Mighty bowl for the first time in a week... forgot how cool my old friend is. Just picked up a new strain (very sweet tasting delicious), didn't get a chance to dry enough maybe, Mighty crushed it anyway... It's funny, because of how "idiot proof" this device is, it's almost on auto pilot. My wife, who's not crazy about me using "so much", doesn't realize, I can get wasted, and rip through way more material in way less time (in a good way) with the Mighty, but just no stem changes and stirring, so it's looks like I'm vaping less - to quote George Constanza, "seemingly, seemingly".... Hmm, another form of stealth. It appears, this strain, and a volcano grind is perfect for this product.

-discuss amongst yourselves-

EDIT: seems I got real lucky. This weed and grind are working better than anything I've done with the Mighty. I'm on about hit 25 and haven't gotten past 365. This fucking thing can rock the house. Might have to be Mighty day in celebration of picking up 2 sweet z's.

EDIT 2: still hitting hard at 386, got about 10 more hits. I'm setting a personal record here.

EDIT 3: It won

Your cooling unit might be getting a nice coat of resin at this point.

I had a similar thing happen a while back with my Crafty. The hits just kept coming, and coming, and coming. I finally just had to stop.

Opened up the cooling unit the next day and it was PACKED full of oily goodness and small particulate.

Might not be the case with yours, but worth looking into to see if it was a result of the strain or a resin buildup :)

Ahh, didn't realize you meant homebrew. :0
I didn't, but iirc the video showed that theoretically an end-user update (homebrewed or official), could be done.
I dream of a widget or a red/green constantly on when using the Crafty without having to use the unit's lighy or having to access the app to see if its on or not.

1. Cooling unit picture?
I have searched and read umpty-two posts but cannot find a picture of the underside of the Mighty cooling unit. Can someone please post one or give me a page/ post # of such a picture. Thanks

2. Page/ posting number for a picture of the modified CU that had a glass adapter added into it? I think a hole was cut and it was bonded in??

2 a. Who on here wanted to buy a Mighty CU with the glass adapter "attached" ? Someone did but I cannot find his/her name.

I'm just thinking about making some CU glass adapter covers BUT it is just a "thought" right now......
I need to see exactly what it involves.

I was interested in such a device. I remember the post you're talking about, You have to cut the CU in half, and just use the "lock" part... I'd love to try that.

You can't find it because it's in the Crafty thread. If you go to page 153 Mighty thread you will see a blue box Muzzmod1

No, there is no battery bypass. The unit works while charging, but will still drain the battery as it takes more juice to use than can be replentished by the charger.

:peace:
I don't know man. I put an empty mighty on cord, started vaping the first minute and also got half my mighty charged up witihn the session. There is a clear difference whether the cord heats the mighty or charges the battery as it heats up within the first second and starts charging as soon as the first heating period is done (likely when you hit your temperature minus some degrees so the Mighty hits it set temperature with the dealy of the heating element.). When you start to draw, the temperature decreases, turning the heating element back on and stopping the charge for some seconds. Rinse and repeat.

After spending the evening with the Mighty I can't see me using my Air again while I'm at home.
It's definitely my new go-to vape :)

I ran the battery down over the course of the evening, and plugged it in with no bars showing and the power indicator flashing for my last vape of the night.
After finishing I had 1 bar of power.

ya know, I felt the same way, but actually the AA takes more work (loading over and over, stirring, bumping temps) to get it just right and I find it's a lot easier if I'm at home in my "space" where I have all my paraphernalia. The Mighty you can just take out load and blast off. It's a bit big, but it takes almost zero mental effort to get it right and keep hitting without having to ritualistically reload, stir (which I finds can add to the home experience, but I don't wanna stir in my car). You can be actively engaged in other activities and keep it going. Just don't drop it!!!

Hi Bravest,

I just love the ease of use with the Mighty.
They seem to have put a lot of thought into the design of it.
From the easy to use filling tool keeping the unit clean to the fantastic cooling chamber, I just love it all.
I did think it was quite an expensive purchase.. and perhaps it's just the honeymoon phase.. But the fact I'm able to enjoy vaping more without the throat irritation while also getting medicated quicker makes it worth it for me and I'm certainly not regretting my purchase at the moment. :)

I'm still going to keep my Air for use as more of a stealth(ier) vape and also as a backup to the Mighty.
The Air does work well, but I just feel the Mighty has it beat in almost every way apart from size.
I can fit the Mighty in my jeans pocket, but it's a little bulky. I think it would fit better in the inside pocket of a jacket.
Perhaps if I use a silicone tube as a whip down a sleeve I could be truly stealthy with the Mighty lol :ninja:

I don't think the air is too much work compared to the mighty, but I don't stir either. I use the air for shorter sessions and the mighty when it's time to set shit off...the crafty is just a spare tire and I like throwing the pax2 into the mix just because the vapor is 'fuller'.
The mighty gives big ass clouds, but the vapor isn't as dense as other vaporizers...the mighty is still the best but different

AA is only work if you want it to be. I seem to be able to extend my sessions with a little stirring, adding, bumping, and get some amazingly long sessions out of 1/3 of a Mighty bowl. Sometimes I'm in the mood (or have the freedom) to do that, sometimes I don't. Mighty, other than size, is load and go. Zero effort ever, unless your weed is wet or flying around in the chamber. So it's great to have both, but Mighty slams you in the face on those long, single session, packed bowls, like nothing I've ever experienced with cannabis.

The pax2 has denser vapor 'per puff' but the pax only gets short bursts of full vapor...while the mighty consistently cranks it out.
The pax2 is a sprint vape and the mighty wins the marathon

Every vape has a slightly different effect, the flight box will still get me smashed every once in a while.

Repair Update part 2!

FedEx just left and I opened up the box expecting to find all my goodies! I was a little disappointed though. They shipped a new Mighty with cooling unit attached (serial in the 8xxx range but still has the reinforced parts). No charger or any other accessories though as they used my original box to send it back. Unfortunately, that's the only good part of the story.

I had requested 2 of the fine screen sets and they shipped the standard sets with only 2 fine, 4 coarse. I asked for a Crafty Wear and Tear and they shipped a Mighty.. I asked very nicely over the phone (and was assured it would be no problem) for a couple of the sliding lock (hologram) things for the cooling units as a couple of mine were broken, those didn't arrive. :(

I have no doubt I'll call them up and get everything shipped for free, but now my buddy who was expecting a new Crafty cooling unit in his wear and tear kit has to wait. Guess I could give him the Mighty CU to use in the meantime.

edit: a few emails back and forth confirming what was received and what was supposed to be received and the correct items will be shipped out today. At one point they mentioned a return label to return the wrong items but haven't sent one. Unless it comes with the new package looks like I'll have a free Mighty wear and tear kit and some useless screens for my trouble. :)

When my mighty LED went (it was right after I upgraded from Crafty due to overheating, short batt life), they sent me a new one with the return shipping label for the old one. All new stuff. Of course I returned the old one, as I'm sure I'll need some type of servicing in the future and want to keep on good terms with S&B. I was shocked, but they actually trusted me.

I wish S&B would do that for me. I have to purchase a new unit to be able to do the same thing you have done. I then have to wait two weeks for the weeks wages to be put back into my account.

I just wish Storz and Bickel treated every customer the same and didn't have different rules for different customers.

I didn't mean to bash S&B. I think it was my second return within 7 days and they felt obligated
