The Mighty or the Air?

Hey there fc memebers,
Fairly new (been lurking since halfway through first gh thread) and wondering if anyone could help me out between a recent choice.
I recently quit smoking cigs thanks to e cigs and am now trying to quit combustion all together. I pre ordered a gh to help, but it's looking like may be a little before get that, so looking for another vape to help till then (plus probably be good to have a session vape and a on the go style vape). So I've come to the choice between the mighty or the arizer air plus either the lotus or e-nano (though would have to wait till next payday to get air plus the enano).
I've read up a lot on each as still having trouble making a choice. Seems like the mighty is more when wanting to finish a session quickly and the air is more taking your time to chill and vape. Both of which I enjoy but not sure which I would like better as can see time were either could be a good thing. Anyway if anyone has some advice to help the decision it be great.
Little background.
Smoker for 11 years and pretty high tolerance with buds(two skimpy blunts about .7-.8 would get me a pretty alright high but nothing to brag about) I've had a flowermate 5.0s about a month, and say it's alright. It's harsh on my throat a lot of the time (the harshness is lessing as i use it more)and takes a lot of bud to start to get to were I want to be.
so basically from most to least important in what looking for is

firstly •effects. Personally I dont see a reason I'm not getting stoned, so yea a vape that give great effects for how much the bowl holds

second • throat irratation. This is big to me because I'm unable to get the full effects if I'm to busy hacking up a lung rather then vaping. From what reading think mighty take the edge here with its cooling unit

Third •portability. Don't really need to be discreet as usually when smoke out and about its in my car or woods (though guess can't hurt) but would rather something I can take a long with me in the car or on trip why not really looking at desktops. Wear a back pack most of the time so this isn't really a big issue. This not sure as mightys bigger but don't have to worry about glass and vice versa with the air. The lotus be good to take in woods but don't think be able to use in the car....

Fourth •taste. Taste isn't too important but hey always a plus
This I hear both do well but mighty holds flavor longer through session
And •ease of use (including cleaning) from which I gathered from reading the air takes it there.

Anyway im mainly looking for a good vape that delivers a strong high. Was leaning toward the mighty, due to faster delivery, thinking should feel bit more, but once started to read up on the lotus figured that could contend with the mighty in terms of the high and the air would work for that blunt smoking feel. So yea any input that could help me toward one end or the other be greatly appreciated. You all seem super friendly and chill, which is rare to find on most forums, and way more knowledgeable about all this then me. Thank you all already for all the great info you've been posting. Helps so sooooooooooo much when comes to looking for a vape

I suggest Mighty. I do not own either.

The Air I did not enjoy. Tried it a few times. A lot of restriction when trying to take a pull. You do not have that issue with the Mighty.

If price is non issue, then yes, the Mighty.

Edit: I would like to add that the Mighty will get you nice and high. If that's achieved in 3 minutes or 10, you'll be medicated nicely by the Mighty.

Havnt tried the air, but the mighty fits your criteria better. If price is no issue then get a mighty. Also you won't 'need' a desktop as it will more than service your needs with your current amount of usage.

Don't have an air nor have I used one, but I stand by the belief that the Mighty is the best electronic portable on the market, so I'd recommend that.

You can vape fast or slow, you set the temp.
You have zero draw restriction basically, very easy to hit. Throat irritation is still possible whenever you end up inhaling way to much because it's so smooth.
Mighty is not a pocket vape, but it is portable and a backpack is perfect for it.
Taste's really good.

Battery life is good too. Something else may have better battery life, and the Firefly may taste better, and the Arizer Air may be more portable, but overrall I just feel the Mighty is the best overall "complete package" as far as portables that are electronic.

The Air is a great vape, but if you have the cash for the Mighty, it's a no brainer in my opinion.

The Crafty/Mighty truly hit like no battery powered portable I've ever used. It really does nearly match my EVO in knockout power.

And the Mighty isn't that large really, about the size of a large phone (think a Note or something like that). It's a big fit in the pocket, but you are able to pocket it assuming you're not wearing skinny jeans.

For my first decent vape I purchased an Air and it worked well. It kept me medicated and off the combustion, but unfortunately I do find it to be a bit harsh and scratchy on my throat.
I contemplated getting a bubbler for it, but decided to try a Mighty instead.
I've only used the Mighty this evening, but it's really good.
It's a much cooler and smoother vape because of the cooling unit before the mouthpiece and it takes me less time to get medicated.

Thank you all for the input, has helped out so much. Thinking I'll be ordering a mighty on Friday (payday yay). Still want to get myself a lotus though, probably will in a month or two, also the e-nano but that be a bit further in the future, as vapourhaze said, shouldn't really 'need' a desktop with the mighty. That doesn't stop the vas from wanting one though:nod:

Mightys temperature range goes even lower than the Air, so it is even better for "Sip sessions". Try a 148-158°C run for 10 minutes. just awesome.

I don't have the Mighty. I have only read some of the thread. To be honest I read a lot in the beginning but not lately. It did seem difficult to clean from what I read. I had noticed some brittle parts too, breakage. I hear the brittle plastic problem has been solved.

I do have the Air it has good flavor and is very portable. I used it while walking and it doesn't draw attention, it's quite stealth.

The two units seem too opposite to really compare them, kinda apple and oranges. I guess flavor would be the only thing and how much product it uses. Each unit would have their own strong and weak points. It would depend how you wanted to use your portable? The Air could be considered a session vape run time is - 8 min long. It's really worth the under $200 price tag.

The prices are definetly different. You could easily buy 2 Airs + a Joda stem for the price of the Mighty.

You need to buy a vaporizer to best fit your needs and your pocketbook.

Don't know if you ordered the Mighty yet, or from where. I've had great experiences with Puff It Up. Do you have their discount code?

Haven't yet, just two more days till can:D) but yea that's where planning on getting it at. Actually what made me really look into the mighty was the discount code lol. Once saw that it was a bit cheaper did some math and found I would be able to save up enough in a month which leads me to now just a little over a month and anxious for the next couple days to pass. Why must they be so long:bang:lol

Lol I've been tempted to many times these past two weeks, more so this week as can afford to be broke for a day or two, but thinking I'll be happy I held out:D

Between the 2 I really think it comes down to battery life and Vape size. I would have preferred a longer battery life, but smaller size won out. I have to charge frequently, but I'm not sorry with my choice. Have to say, I'm excited for you!
