I will poke @blankrider here for you. I believe he knows a lot about glass and might not have seen your question. If not he, then for sure he knows other members that might help out.

Maybe change your title to: identify this glass and win a pack of skittles or something just to get it some more attention

Saw this sick rig in a shop today. Asked who made it, they didn't know. So I'm here, asking you guys hahaha.

I don't know; I can tell you that Mike from Oregon Glass Blower is a great guy, and a pleasure to do business with.

Here are a few other angles, there is a lot going on in this small piece (about 4+ inches long).

The piece is at a glance just a bad-ass fully worked chillum, with two opals and a dichroic filled marble. The clear chamber is typically what confuses people because one expects the hole to be a carb, but the clear area is simply an alcohol chamber completely independent from the vapor path. Fill it with alcohol, plug the hole with a pencil eraser, load the bowl, and toss it in the freezer.

I haven't used it in years, but best results were if packed before freezing. The less you handle it when it gets out of the freezer, the better. The whole piece frosts up when you pull it out:)

The end result is a super smooth pull, almost don't notice anything but flavor on the inhale, not icy cold but very cool.

Bought in the midwest, around 2002-2004.

It really is a beautiful piece of artwork. I didn't realize it was a chillum until you posted the other pictures. Do you remember where you got it? I know you said in the Midwest, but could you be more specific?

I don't have one on hand, but I will pull it out in the mornin to see if I can get some shots of the mouthpiece and will try to get a shot inside the mouthpiece (not sure if that will focus, but ill try!).

Don't knock yourself out...I was just curious what the mouthpiece looks like. I was thinking maybe you could use it in reverse like a vapor tamer...just a thought.
Check out this chillum...not nearly as nice as yours, but it does have an opal.

with heady wigs and marbles like that I wouldn't be surprised if it was early eross or possibly even micro.
